We are the voice for skills in the Electronics industry and the semiconductor sector. Through engagement with Schools, Universities and Industry, it is our mission to encourage more young people to study Electronics and to pursue careers in the sector.

Alexandra Rose is a data rich organisation. Using Socialsuite, we have built sophisticated project performance dashboards and monitoring tools that underpin both our delivery and reporting. We have also strengthened how we evaluate and demonstrate the impact of our Rose Voucher projects, developing robust evaluation tools that help us understand, and evidence, how our work improves the diets, health and wellbeing of adults and children.

Socialsuite is managed by engineers in Australia. This will mean, on a number of occasions during the year, you may be required to attend meetings that start at 8am. This will be infrequent and most communication with the software providers can take place via email.

Duties and Person Specification

Data Analysis, Systems and Reporting

• Develop and maintain robust and accurate data systems and monitoring processes, ensuring compliant archiving to support data integrity.

• Lead the preparation, quality assurance and secure management of Alexandra Rose’s programme data, ensuring it is accurate, consistent and compliant with GDPR and data sharing requirements.

• Resolve data-related issues by collaborating with Socialsuite engineers and engaging with technical support partners as required.

• Develop and refine data dashboards, reports and performance insights that help teams, funders and partners understand how our projects are performing. 

• Share insights to support decision making, improve programme delivery, and strengthen Alexandra Rose’s evidence base.

• Support the implementation and day-to-day management of a new charity-wide CRM system, ensuring that teams can confidently and consistently use it to its full potential.

Impact and Evaluation

• Support the design, coordination and collection of baseline and follow-up evaluation activities, including surveys, interviews and focus groups. 

• Manage the collection, organisation and analysis of quantitative and qualitative evaluation data to generate clear, usable insights.

• Produce summaries, descriptive analysis and visual outputs to feed into evaluation findings and funder reports.

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications and Skills 

• Demonstrable experience in data analysis within the charity, public health, or social care sectors (comparable private sector experience will also be considered). 

• Experience coordinating and collecting qualitative and quantitative data to inform research, projects or services. 

• Experience using CRM systems and data visualisation tools (e.g., Salesforce, Socialsuite) to support monitoring, reporting and organisational insight.

• Proven ability to handle and analyse large datasets, including creating clear charts, dashboards and performance outputs in Excel or similar tools.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, accessible insights for a range of audiences.

• Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating multiple streams of work and meeting deadlines.

Desirable Skills

Reporting to the Secretary to the Royal Commission, the Alumni Manager will lead the coordination and delivery of our alumni strategy. AMF profile

Against Malaria Foundation (AMF) was founded in 2004 and is a charity that fights malaria in a highly effective, accountable and transparent way.

We do this by purchasing and distributing multiple millions of long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (LLINs) at a time in nationwide universal coverage campaigns. This is the most cost-effective way of preventing malaria. AMF receives donations from the public and in the last financial year received US$147 million and, in our history, now over US$780 million. AMF is particularly data-focused and monitors and reports on net use and drives and supports innovation to improve the effectiveness of malaria programmes.

AMF is the world’s third largest funder of nets.

AMF has been rated a top charity for all of the last 16 years by independent charity evaluators GiveWell, Giving What We Can and The Life You Can Save who focus on impact and cost-effectiveness.

We are a team of 15 highly motivated individuals with different skills and experience. Each person has an important role to play. All team members work remotely with constant communication between them. While the team is small, the impact is big - our net distributions protect millions of people. Our largest programme is in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), where we are funding 52 million nets to protect 94 million people for distribution during 2025 to 2027. We have ongoing multi-million net programmes in other countries including Chad, Guinea, Nigeria, South Sudan, Togo, Uganda and Zambia.

Role Description

Our activities and commitments are steadily increasing, with 2026 a particularly busy year with over 60 million nets planned for distribution to protect more than 110 million people, and the next few years will be similarly busy. In light of this, AMF is recruiting a Junior Operations Manager to join the operations team and to play an important role in ensuring the success of the net distributions. We are looking for someone with strong quantitative and analytical skills who enjoys working with data. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with scientific or numbers-oriented mindset, comfortable performing quick, high-quality analyses and communicating findings clearly.

The role will include involvement in all stages of a distribution campaign (pre-agreement, net procurement, post-agreement, during distribution, and post distribution) with a focus on two areas:

1. Data analysis - reviewing and analysing distribution, monitoring and malaria data to support decision-making
2. Operational work to support programmes, in particular across independent monitoring, net accounting and keeping internal systems up to date

Further information

Across the life of each distribution, AMF collects large amounts of data: household registration and distribution data, net transportation information, data from independent monitoring partners both during distributions and after distributions through post-distribution monitoring surveys conducted at 0, 9, 18, and 27 months. We also receive and analyse external data including population estimates and malaria burden data. These data are central to how AMF operates - it informs operational decisions, ensures we can track every net accountably from manufacturing site to household, and it also enables us to report to donors with confidence on where their nets went.

We are looking for a junior operations manager to support in two main areas:

1. Data analysis

This includes:

• Analysing distribution and independent monitoring data to:
  • Ensure data is sufficiently high quality
  • Work with monitoring partners to take quick action if operational adjustments are needed
• Working with the team to build systems enabling process automation such as data quality monitoring
• Providing ad-hoc analyses to support data driven operational decisions
• Maintaining an overview of results across countries to inform benchmarks and interpret new data
• Contributing to how we present and communicate our data, both internally and publicly. This includes summarising findings clearly and appropriately for different audiences.

2. Operational work to support programmes

This includes supporting the operations team through the stages of AMF’s programmes:

Independent monitoring

Tendering and contracting

• Sending documentation to bidding partners and receiving proposals
• Supporting budget comparisons and proposal review
• Drafting agreement documents and processing payments

Project management

• Supporting operations team and partners during data collection, drawing on the data analysis above to troubleshoot issues as they arise

Closeout

• Ensuring all reporting has been delivered (narrative and financial)
• Reviewing reporting, analysing final results and putting them in context of AMF's wider programme
• Analysing project spend against budget, proposing closeout payments and processing them

Net accounting

• Reviewing evidence of net deliveries and arrivals from in-country partners
• Checking nets were sent to locations in the quantities agreed
• Working with ops team members to flag discrepancies and support communications with partners
• After distribution, verifying and documenting nets distributed, leftover, lost or damaged Internal systems
• Keeping AMF's internal systems up to date
• Inputting and processing payments
• Ensuring distribution and project dates are up to date
• Updating the latest status for the nets for each distribution (in production, en-route to country, etc.)

There will be other significant work related to AMF Group Operations, dependent on the candidate’s skill set, such as assisting with documentation for tax deductibility, new AMF entities, and updating our website with blogposts.

Characteristics of the successful candidate

We are looking for someone who has strong intellectual and analytical skills, is a fast learner and who relishes the opportunity to develop their abilities. They will work collaboratively, building strong relationships with the AMF team and in-country partners. The ideal candidate will be motivated to help improve the lives of those affected by the wider impacts of malaria.

Required

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets, identify patterns, and present findings succinctly. Comfort with statistical concepts (e.g. sampling, variability, precision)
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong working relationships
• Highly confident in Excel
  • Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis is a plus
• A self-starter who is highly organised with the ability to work independently and manage working time effectively
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills
• Comfort in dealing with and learning about financial matters, willing to examine and compare budgets in detail
• An interest in driving down malaria rates through procedure changes and the use of technology
• Fluent English

Location: Remote working (all the AMF team work remotely) within UK/Europe time zones.

Fundraiser communications and events

• Act as first point of contact for individuals and organisations fundraising for the charity
• Record and track all fundraising events and activities, implementing communication plans to welcome, support, and thank participants
• Work with the Public Fundraising and Marketing Lead to build digital and automated onboarding and stewardship journeys for community fundraisers
• Oversee the delivery of excellent stewardship for community fundraisers through responsive support, proactive communication and effective use of automated journeys to enhance their experience and results
• Build strategies to maximise fundraiser income, including targets, incentives etc.
• Lead on the planning and execution of fundraising engagement events, optimising the on-site experience and income generation potential.
• Support and coordinate fundraising volunteers for key engagement events, building a stewardship programme across the year

Fundraising Operations

• Manage our major fundraising platforms (e.g. Just Giving) to ensure data accuracy and compliance
• Support the management of our legacy and in memory donations, delivering thoughtful and sensitive  supporter communications
• Work with the Finance Manager on monthly direct debits and income reconciliation.
• Undertake research to identify new supporter, donor, trust/foundation and HNW prospects aligned with our mission

Logistics and Administration

• Maintain records of fundraising materials and merchandise, reordering stock as needed.
• Oversee the relationship with the fulfilment house to ensure smooth delivery of goods and supporter packs
• Track and manage auction items and raffle prizes, monitoring usage and income
• Support the delivery of key Race Against Dementia events, providing logistical support and ensuring excellent supporter experiences

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated major gifts fundraiser to join our small fundraising team to contribute to our ambitious goal to raise £20 million across 4 years – our Be the Spark campaign.

You will need to be a collaborative self-starter who wants to make an impact, working at all levels of the organisation to build and develop the relationships that will enable the Ri to succeed. You will be used to identifying, researching and managing a portfolio of major donors or high value clients and comfortable working with donors at the highest levels.

This role is responsible for driving major donor engagement and income by proactively identifying and cultivating new supporters aligned with our mission.

The postholder will work collaboratively across the Ri and fundraising team to build strong relationships, develop innovative and compelling proposals, and deliver exceptional account management and stewardship to existing donors. Key responsibilities include researching, developing and cultivating new prospects, building a strong major gifts pipeline, visiting donors and prospects, and advising colleagues on best practice for stewarding major donors throughout their relationship with the Ri.

Essential:

As the Senior Impact Manager, Motorsports Engagement, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining strategic relationships with motorsports employers to support young people from underrepresented backgrounds into early career opportunities. Working closely with Formula 1 and its teams, as well as a broader network of STEM-related organisations across the UK, US, and Brazil, you will lead collaboration efforts to influence inclusive recruitment and retention practices in motorsports, and enhance career access and progression. With a strong external focus, you will also support Mission 44’s fundraising goals, representing the organisation at high-profile events, stewarding key corporate accounts, and helping secure investment in our programmes and mission.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

DELIVERY OF MOTORSPORTS ENGAGEMENT STRATEGY (70%)

• Play a key role in the development and execution of Mission 44’s new Motorsports strategy, to create access opportunities for young people from underrepresented backgrounds within STEM sectors, particularly motorsports.

• Build trusted relationships with key motorsport employers and stakeholders, including F1, F1 teams, FIA, and relevant STEM employers, to drive sector-wide change, focusing on increasing demand for underrepresented talent, adoption of inclusive recruitment practices, and awareness of Mission 44’s work and impact.

• Apply and continually improve the convening strategy and toolkits to Mission 44’s STEM work, helping determine when and how convening can most effectively support our goal of inspiring and supporting young people (aged 14–30) in the UK and US to access careers in STEM and motorsport.

• Collaborate with the Engagement Directorate, nonprofit partners and corporates to design and deliver high-impact STEM career experiences at Formula 1 races and other key events - some of which will be international - ensuring alignment with Mission 44’s objectives and offering young people meaningful exposure to career pathways.

EXTERNAL REPRESENTATION AND ENGAGEMENT (20%)

• Represent Mission 44 at Motorsport industry events, donor meetings, clearly articulating our global mission and impact with tailored messaging for each audience.

• Support cultivation and stewardship efforts as requested by the Engagement Directorate, engaging prospective donors and prioritising meetings that deliver the greatest strategic value.

• Advocate for Mission 44 at high-profile events and stakeholder meetings, championing greater industry engagement and driving impact.

• Support our storytelling and communications efforts to highlight success and progress while spotlighting challenges to potentially shape future advocacy.

MONITORING AND LEARNING (10%)

• Support the Head of Impact, STEM Pathways and the Head of Strategy and Learning to collect key impact data.

• Contribute to evaluation processes, seek and develop opportunities to raise awareness of Mission 44’s work to create early career pathways for young people.

• Assist with annual reporting and provide input into fundraising and communications materials where relevant.

Position Overview

The role involves coordinating payroll, preparing management accounts and VAT returns, supporting budget preparation and assisting with year-end accounts and audits. Responsibilities 

· Lead and oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting

· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including credit control activities (with support from Finance Assistants)

· Maintain the general ledger and ensure data integrity between accounting systems

· Coordinate payroll administration and liaise with external payroll providers
