What is the role?

The Collection and Research Team at RAF Museum London holds a significant amount of paper-based records relating to the Museum’s collections, ranging from provenance information, details of past conservation treatments, and historical correspondence. While securely stored, digitising these records will produce many benefits. These include making them more accessible for the Museum’s own team, enabling questions from our audiences to be more easily answered and helping to ensure their longer-term preservation.

What will I be doing?

Tasks may involve:

• Scanning of correspondence files and Museum forms

• Ensuring accurate records for the image files are kept according to the Museum’s file structure

• Reviewing existing digital documentation and records to make them accessible 

• Developing an understanding of information security and GDPR

• Developing an understanding of museum sector practices and procedures

This role is perfect for you if you…

• Possess good IT Skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

• Can operate a scanner

• Have the ability to work methodically, with good accuracy and attention to detail

• Have the ability to work independently

• Have an interest in history and/or heritage 

• Have an interest in records management

• How much time would I need to commit? 

  One full day or half day, ideally once a week, between 10.00 and 16.00 at the RAF Museum London.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced, confident, and creative Volunteer Senior Social Media Manager to take ownership of Influential Stars’ social media presence across multiple platforms.

This is a hands-on role for someone capable of planning, creating, and scheduling purposeful content that raises awareness, builds community engagement, and supports campaigns across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow Influential Stars’ social media presence across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn

• Plan, create, and schedule consistent content aligned with the organisation’s mission and tone of voice

• Develop content that inspires awareness, connection, and positive action

• Share stories, campaigns, and updates in a sensitive and engaging way

• Maintain content calendars and scheduling systems

• Monitor engagement and respond appropriately where required

• Coordinate with internal team members to ensure accurate and timely messaging

• Maintain brand consistency across all channels

• Stay informed about platform trends and opportunities to increase reach

Skills and Experience Required

Essential:

• Proven experience managing social media across multiple platforms

• Strong understanding of engagement and awareness driven content

• Excellent written communication skills and attention to tone

• Confidence working independently and taking ownership of output

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage content schedules

• Proactive, reliable, and professional approach

• Genuine connection to the organisation’s mission and values

Desirable:

• Experience managing accounts for charities, community organisations, or purpose led brands

• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and analytics

• Experience working remotely within a team

• Based in London or Hertfordshire for occasional in person meetings (not essential)

Although this is currently a volunteer position, Influential Stars is actively working to grow the platform with the long term aim of creating paid roles. While we are unable to provide a timeframe and future opportunities will depend on the organisation’s growth and incoming work, this role offers the chance to be part of that journey from an early stage.

Warehouse helper:

What will I be doing?

• Either, picking and sorting through fresh produce at the Wholesale markets
• Some lifting and use of light machinery such as pallet trucks and a bit of data-entry

When?

8am – 2pm weekdays. You do not have to stay for the whole shift - even a couple of hours is helpful

Kitchen helper

What will I be doing?

• Sorting, prepping and chopping produce
• packaging meals and washing up

When?

Shifts are between 10am-3pm on weekdays. You do not have to stay for the whole shift - even a couple of hours is helpful

We are looking for a reliable and organised Virtual Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of Animal Assisted Wellness CIC.

Responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries (email, website, social media)
• Track bookings and maintain simple systems
• Assist with scheduling and follow-ups
• Organise documents and support admin tasks

Travel Radar is growing; We are looking for a Training Administrator to join our team and support our growth by supporting our contributors, interns and volunteers in the smooth operations of the organisation. You will have a hands-on role supporting our Learning & Development Manager in the effective running of internships, CPD programs and personal development training sessions in a remote environment.

Responsibilities and A Little More About the Role:

• Coordinating and managing the Learning Team inbox
• Tracking intern and student progression through programs and internships
• Managing data in our Learning Management System (LMS) and HR Database
• Arranging L&D Activities including training sessions and assessments, inline with instructor avaliability 
• Supporting with HR activities for interns including recruitment, assessment centres and probation reviews
• Note-take meetings such as probation reviews, performance discussions and interviews
• Other administrative tasks to support interns and students, as directed by L&D Manager

Who We're Looking For:

• Passion for Business/Organisation Management, Administration and Office Management is ideal
• Willingness to learn new skills, software and (likely) a new industry - Aviation and Air-Travel
• Great communication and teamwork skills
