We are looking for a Senior Individual Giving Officer to deliver innovative, insight-led fundraising campaigns that grow supporter engagement and maximise income. Working as part of a supportive, ambitious and collaborative team, you’ll gain experience across the full Individual Giving programme while helping bring the joy and benefits of reading to children across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and data-driven fundraiser who enjoys managing campaigns end-to-end and is passionate about delivering an excellent supporter experience. You’ll help shape and deliver multi-channel campaigns, test new ideas and fundraising products, and use insight to drive performance and long-term supporter relationships.

The role can be based in either our London office in Farringdon or our Leeds head office, with a minimum of eight office days per month.

Fundraising at BookTrust

As a charity, fundraising is central to BookTrust’s mission, enabling us to bring our work to life and reach more children through a diverse portfolio of income generation, including mixed models of trading and philanthropy.

You will join a friendly, supportive, and ambitious fundraising team working together to generate sustainable income that supports our mission through the funding of programmes and projects and ensures excellent stewardship of our donors. As part of our new strategy, we aim to grow our income significantly over the next five years. With current annual income of £12.4m and a strong base of long-term committed funding, we are well positioned to expand our work. As we expand our work and reach more children and families, developing new income streams is a key organisational priority. The Individual Giving function within the Fundraising team, where this role sits, has been tasked with growing income to £2 million by 2030. We will do this by improving our supporter experience and engagement, employing a test-and-learn strategy across a range of campaigns and being data-led in everything that we do. 

Job Purpose

The Senior Individual Giving Officer plays a central role delivering the campaigns and plans that will achieve the Individual Giving programme income targets. The post holder, working closely with colleagues across BookTrust, will manage existing and test new Individual Giving campaigns and develop and test new fundraising products in order to generate income from new and existing supporters.

Key Responsibilities: 

Programmes and projects

• Manage acquisition and retention campaigns including testing new audiences and channels.
• Deliver effective supporter journeys to ensure the highest possible standards of donor experience. 
• End-to-end campaign management across the fundraising mix including legacies, mid value and in memory. 
• Support the testing and development of new community and events fundraising opportunities. 
• Work closely with and support the Individual Giving Lead to ensure all activity is delivered on time and to budget, contributing to annual income targets. 

 
Relationships

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across marketing, digital, comms and across the organisation. Work closely with Supporter Services and CRM colleagues to ensure best experience for our supporters
• Work effectively with external suppliers and agencies, maintaining strong working relationships. 

Budgeting, analysis and reporting

• Monitor and control income and expenditure against targets outlined in annual plans.
• Feed into quarterly forecasting and annual budget setting processes.
• Closely monitor campaign results, provide updates on performance and produce post-campaign analysis reports.
• Make recommendations to improve the performance of future campaigns based on evidence and data.
• Contribute to CRM development and update existing reporting mechanisms.

Other

• Keep up to date with innovation and changes in the sector and external environment.
• Undertake other duties as required that are commensurate with this role.

As our Communications and marketing assistant you will be a key member of the Winchester Hospice Fundraising Charity team, supporting the realisation of our communication, engagement and marketing plans to our stakeholders, allowing the charity to deliver its innovative fundraising strategy to be able to meet ambitious financial targets.

In this role you will collaborate with the wider team to ensure a unified and effective approach to fundraising communications, helping to ensure that the charity is financially sustainable and widely recognised by the local community. With the support of the Interim Senior Marketing and Communications Manager, you’ll lead on developing and delivering high-quality design and brand assets, managing our Brand Hub and helping colleagues apply our brand confidently and consistently. You’ll work closely with teams across the organisation to coordinate marketing activity, develop plans and ensure everything we produce aligns with our wider strategy and objectives. 

You’ll also play a key role in managing creative processes – from designing assets in-house to overseeing work with external agencies – as well as maintaining our photography and video library to ensure all visual content reflects our brand and values.

Headway UK developed the Approved Provider Scheme in 2011, which is a voluntary standards-based accreditation, for rehabilitation and residential units for people with a brain injury and we are looking for a new part time team member.

By participating in the scheme Approved Provider units affirm their dedication to excellent care, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. The accreditation of units is then published for families, individuals and professionals to help inform their choices when identifying suitable provision for brain injury survivors. Our accreditation process is designed to be collaborative and supportive, guiding units through every step towards achieving and maintaining exemplary service standards.

The role will involve, conducting and writing assessments and working with the Approved Provider and Training Manager to manage Lead Assessors, who are based around the UK and the Service User Perspective Assessors, who are either brain injury survivors, or family members/ carers.

What you will do:

• Conduct Approved Provider assessments, which includes going into brain injury residential units and assessing the services they provide and making recommendations, to improve practice against the framework.
• Writing and reviewing reports for Approved Provider units, following assessments, that clearly highlight strengths and areas for development.
• Contributing to the development and growth of Headway UK’s Approved Provider scheme, by continuing to drive forward standards and onboarding new units.
• Working with freelance Lead Assessors and Service User Perspective Assessors (who are brain injury survivors or family members) who are based around the UK, to organise assessments and ensure the schemes standards are upheld.

About you

From a school perspective, online reading volunteers provide direct, meaningful literacy support for up to 10 pupils per class. About the Role

Chapter One is seeking a Bristol Programme Manager who is an excellent communicator and is able both to motivate and support schools and teachers to implement our online reading volunteers programme, and also to ensure that the programme’s impact and benefit to disadvantaged communities is maximised throughout the academic year. 

The post is ideal for someone looking for part-time, flexible, term-time only work from a home base and who is able to travel frequently in and around Bristol. The postholder will be joining a team of established Programme Managers who work in different parts of the UK and will need to have some flexibility to work some additional hours during busy autumn weeks, and conversely to work fewer hours during quieter periods of the year. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Effectively explain Chapter One’s online reading volunteer programme and its benefits to school leaders and teachers.

• Install, setup and maintain Chapter One equipment in participating classrooms.

• Organise and conduct initial teacher training and follow-up.

• Ensure a smooth initial launch of Chapter One’s programme in every classroom.

• Fully understand the operation of the Chapter One platform and database and effectively communicate this to others as needed.

• Liaise with colleagues performing technical and volunteer support roles.

• Through regular visits to/contact with schools, provide on-going embedded professional learning and support to teachers throughout the year as needed.  

• Proactively monitor classroom adherence/fidelity to the Chapter One model, including systematic review of data reports and volunteer feedback, taking proactive action to resolve problems that arise.

• Analyse and manipulate data (largely in Google sheets) to produce reports and identify trends.

• Create regular data summaries for all participating classrooms.

• Lead annual review meetings for senior leadership at participating schools.

• Support programme monitoring, evaluation and research as required.

• Coordinate in person and virtual school ‘visits’ of volunteer teams to classrooms where necessary. This may include opportunities for Chapter One children to visit the office of the volunteers.

• Liaison with corporate partners as required.

• Weekly communication and status updates with Senior Programme Manager(s) and wider team.

• As a new school year approaches, secure commitments from returning schools and help find and target new schools to join Chapter One’s programme. 

We are looking for applicants with the following essential qualities:

• Highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. 

• Proven track record of working at a senior level in education, project management or a related field. 

• Proven strength in both written and verbal communication. 

• Highly IT literate, with excellent computer skills, able to troubleshoot software and technical  hardware issues, adept with Google suite and Microsoft Teams.

• Ability to manipulate and analyse data to draw useful conclusions to improve programme delivery.

• Proven ability to work independently. 

• Self-starter and quick learner.

• Ability to adapt and embrace a changing environment. 

• Ability to drive and access to a car for work purposes.

Ideally, applicants will also have the following desirable qualities:

• Two years of teaching/education experience with primary age children.

• University degree.

• Through regular visits to/contact with schools, provide on-going embedded professional learning and support to teachers throughout the year as needed.

Role purpose:

ShelterBox is striving to provide outstanding information systems and technology that will maximise our fundraising and operational capability through the implementation of new software and analysis solutions that support both our fundraising objectives and the efficient delivery of aid to our beneficiaries. Having recently gone-live with a new Dynamics CRM platform earlier this year, it is an exciting time to be involved with further developing and refining the solution to meet ShelterBox needs. As part of this process, we require a CRM Administrator to help with data health checks, data management and to work with the wider CRM team supporting Service requests.

Reporting to the CRM Manager, the successful candidate will operate within the CRM Team and will contribute effectively to help us develop and improve the CRM during this key phase.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with good CRM experience in an administrative role, who wants to play an important part in optimising and supporting Dynamics CRM.

This is a fixed term role at ShelterBox, and we are seeking a detailed oriented person who has experience of dealing with data health and data cleansing in a CRM. The successful candidate will work closely with the CRM Manager and the CRM Officer to improve the data health monitoring and data management of Dynamics CRM.

Main role and responsibilities

Duties will include but not be limited to:

· Working closely with CRM Officer & CRM Manager, executing data cleansing and general Master Data management tasks within Dynamics CRM

· Work with wider fundraising teams to offer assistance with their data cleansing tasks, structures and stewardship

· Maintaining a log of changes made/tracking progress

· Understand, investigate, report and seek to rectify data quality issues

· Developing data import templates (or changes to existing ones) to onboard data sources successfully - in collaboration with CRM Officer

· Champion data quality, highlighting issues when identified and proactively working to resolve them - in collaboration with CRM Officer

· Ensure the CRM fulfils all data collection requirements, ensuring regulatory compliance and adhering to Charity GDPR policy and processes at every stage, and contribute to making necessary changes.

Main Purpose of the Role 
This new role aims to support the design, coordination and delivery of Action Duchenne’s events portfolio, including the Annual Community Summit, regional meetups, workshops, and online events. The role will ensure smooth operational delivery, high‑ quality participant experiences, accessible information, and effective logistics‑ and supplier coordination.

 Specific Tasks 

1. Event Coordination and Logistics 

• Support the planning and delivery of the Annual Community Summit, working closely with the Chief Scientific Officer, Director of Fundraising and Communications, and wider team. 

• Coordinate logistics for in‑person and online events, including venue liaison, catering, accessibility arrangements, equipment, travel, accommodation and schedules. 

• Ensure event details are accurately published and updated across relevant platforms (website, CRM, communications channels). 

• Manage registration processes for all events and ensure attendees receive timely, accurate joining information. 

• Support the organisation of regional meet‑ups and workshops, ensuring venues, facilitators and resources are in place. 

2. Administration and Operational Delivery 

• Maintain clear and accurate administrative systems, including event checklists, timelines, risk assessments and evaluation forms. 

• Track planned expenditure and ensure costs align with budgets, escalating issues where necessary. 

• Prepare and maintain event collateral (slides, handouts, resources, signage), ensuring accessibility and brand consistency. 

• Provide administrative and practical support during events (both online and in person), including setting up webinar sessions and coordinating pre and post event meetings internally.

We are recruiting a fixed-term Policy Campaigns Manager to lead our campaigns function at ARUK. The Policy Campaigns Manager will report to the Senior Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager and have line management responsibilities for the Policy Campaigns Officer.

In this role you will be joining a friendly and fast-moving Policy and Public Affairs team, during an exciting year for dementia research as we campaign on our core mission for a cure. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to oversee our active campaigns and identify opportunities to mobilise our supporters and drive influence and impact for and with people affected by dementia.

You will lead the development of the campaigns function for ARUK, building on existing initiatives, championing best practice in campaigns and building our reach and engagement. You will also be responsible for working across a range of functions including our policy, research, communications, digital, brand and volunteering teams.

This is a 12 month FTC or on return of the substantive postholder

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver our live campaigns and marshal our campaigner base to advocate for change in dementia research and for people affected by dementia

· Work with colleagues across research, policy and public affairs teams to develop and deliver our campaigns that mobilise people affected by dementia and our supporters to influence decision makers and change policy and practice

· Work with the policy managers to ensure that our campaigns align with our strategic priorities and theories of change

· Work closely with public affairs colleagues to plan campaign actions that align with key political influencing moments e.g. Budget; Spending Review; King’s speech; General Elections

Develop and deliver our campaign communications to grow the reach, influence and impact of our campaigns

· Lead the development and growth of our campaigner network, building supporter journeys, and producing compelling and creative campaigner communications across email, social media and other channels

You will lead the development of internal and external research projects, manage beneficiary insight gathering, and oversee the systems and frameworks we use to evaluate and share our effectiveness.

Impact Measurement  

• Develop and maintain frameworks to measure the outcomes of all services and programmes.  

• Ensure Success Measures (KPIs) and qualitative feedback tools are aligned to our Theory of Change.
