About the role
As Events Fundraising Manager, you will lead, shape and deliver an exciting portfolio of fundraising events, including virtual challenges, our annual Golf Day, and Headway’s prestigious Annual Awards. You will also steward supporters through major third‑party events such as the London Marathon, Great North Run and London Landmarks Half Marathon.
Working closely with the wider Fundraising Team and our Communications Team, you’ll ensure every event is safe, engaging and memorable, and that every supporter receives an exceptional journey with Headway.
With an established events calendar and opportunities for innovation, this role offers the chance to make a tangible impact while helping to grow an events income stream currently worth approximately £360,000.
What you’ll do
- Plan, manage and deliver Headway’s events programme from start to finish.
- Develop a forward‑thinking events strategy that increases participation and income.
- Deliver and champion outstanding supporter stewardship.
- Manage budgets, health & safety, logistics and evaluation.
- Build strong relationships with participants, volunteers, suppliers and corporate partners.
- Line manage and develop the Fundraising Coordinator (Events).
- Identify and test new fundraising opportunities to grow our reach and income.

Job Purpose:
The CRM Officer plays a pivotal role, providing the day-to-day support needed to ensure there is a functioning CRM system for the Fundraising team. Working under the supervision of the CRM and Data Insight Manager, the CRM Officer is responsible for managing regular data imports into CRM, providing data selections, reporting and performance analysis, system development, team training and running data cleansing routines. They are also responsible for developing and maintaining system user guides.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Considerable experience of CRM database systems, within the non-for-profit sector.

- Experience of using KingswaySoft or another ETL tool with good programming skills such as SQL.

About the role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is responding to the largest emergency in our 40+ year history. Over the last two years support for our cause has seen significant growth in income as tens of thousands of supporters have joined MAP, including individuals, trusts, foundations and corporates. Our challenge now is to retain this interest and ensure we sustain income as we respond to the ongoing emergency and the longer-term health of Palestinians over the coming years. With an ambition to be a £50m organisation by 2028, the supporter operations and insights team will play a vital role in enabling over one million Palestinians to access improved healthcare annually by 2028.
We’re looking for a strategic and people‑focused leader to head up our Supporter Operations and Insights team. A newly expanded team, this senior role will ensure our supporters receive an outstanding experience, while overseeing supporter operations, supplier management, data quality and insights. You’ll work closely with Fundraising and Finance colleagues to ensure income is processed accurately; deliver insights that drive decision‑making; and ensure operations are compliant and effective.
Many of our systems and processes are on a journey to be made fit for purpose, including a new CRM (MS Dynamics) which is currently being implemented with the support of the Digital, Data and Technology team within the Chief Operating Officer’s team.

About Access
Access - The Foundation for Social Investment works to ensure that charities and social enterprises can access the finance they need to sustain or grow their impact. Access is currently implementing a new CRM and Grant Management System (Salesforce-based, delivered by implementation partner Vera) to support its programmes, partner relationships, and reporting needs. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the system is delivered well and that Access is ready to operate it confidently at go-live.
Position Overview
Access is seeking a Salesforce Implementation & Delivery Manager on a fixed-term basis to support the delivery of its Salesforce-based CRM and Grant Management System.
Reporting to the Project Manager, this role will combine:
- strong project coordination and delivery management,
- hands-on Salesforce CRM expertise, and
- practical change management capability to help staff adapt to new systems and ways of working.
As Access does not have Salesforce expertise in-house, this role will act as a key internal point of reference, helping to review and sense-check design decisions, manage delivery risks, and ensure that the system being built is usable, well understood, and ready for go-live.
This is not a developer or Salesforce Administrator role, but it does require strong Salesforce CRM experience, alongside proven ability to support users through change, structure complex projects, and keep delivery on track. The role will continue through early post–go live to support transition into business-as-usual and handover to the incoming System Administrator.
This is a Fixed-Term Contract of 6 months minimum. Full-time hours are preferred but we are also open to 4 days per week. Ideally we would like one day per week in our office (Tuesday), which is situated in Old Street, London.

It is the only specialist charity for children affected by conflict, with four main areas of work: protecting children, educating children, supporting communities and campaigning. The charity are renowned for their creative, innovative and entrepreneurial approach, with strong connections to the gaming, music and creative industries.
Philanthropy is a central driver of War Child’s growth. Income has risen rapidly, underpinned by exceptional networks, high-profile supporters and a highly successful portfolio of events and experiences. Following a strategic review, War Child is now investing in a more structured, sustainable approach to philanthropy fundraising with two clearly defined strands: one focused on traditional major donor relationship management and pipeline growth, and a second dedicated to high-value events and experiences as a core driver of major donor engagement and income. This role has been created to lead the second strand.
While the Senior Philanthropy Manager’s primary focus will be generating income from a warm portfolio of major donors, they will also take strategic ownership of War Child’s high-value philanthropy events, shaping donor engagement rather than delivering events operationally. This is an autonomous, externally-facing role, unlocking influential networks and converting high-profile engagement into long-term philanthropic partnerships.
Please note that this is a hybrid role, with 1-2 days per week in the Camden office, with regular events and meetings in central London.
As Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of donors and warm prospects capable of giving 6-figure gifts, including high-value donors currently sitting with senior leadership
- Take strategic ownership of War Child’s high-value events as a core driver of the major donor pipeline, shaping and strengthening this strand so it becomes a defined, sustainable part of the philanthropy programme
- Lead on donor engagement around events, including narrative, asks, pledge levels, follow-up and conversion to income
- Analyse and prioritise prospects with the Data & Insights Manager to focus effort on the highest-value opportunities
- Unlock and activate influential networks through ambassadors, senior volunteers and high-profile supporters
- Work closely with the Head of Philanthropy, Data & Insights Manager, Events Producer, and Principal Giving Lead
Essential skills and experience:
- Significant experience of high-value major donor fundraising, with a track record of securing £50k+ gifts from HNWIs
- Strong experience of developing donors through identification, cultivation, solicitation and long-term stewardship
- Credibility and confidence working with wealthy, influential individuals, advisers, celebrities and senior volunteers
- Experience of shaping donor engagement strategy around high-value events or pledge environments
- Strategic thinker with strong judgement on prospect prioritisation and pipeline management
- Excellent relationship management, influencing and written communication skills
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-moving, high-profile environment
Desirable:
- Experience of pledge dinners or high-value special events at a strategic fundraising level
- Experience working with ambassadors or high-profile supporters
- International development or humanitarian sector experience
Not required: Direct event production experience; Line management experience
