Are you passionate about seeing children come to know Jesus for themselves and grow in all he has for them? We’re looking for a Kids Pastor to join our team. This is a one-year, fixed-term contract based in the centre of Cambridge.
HT is a vibrant, evangelical, charismatic, Anglican church with a large and growing church family of all ages and stages. We are situated right at the centre of the city and perfectly placed to reach students and adults alike. Our vision is to see Cambridge reached and the world impacted with the good news and transforming power of the risen Lord Jesus.
Alongside the Senior Children’s Pastor and Children’s Pastor (Infants and Babies), you will be responsible for pastoring the children of HT in Years 3–6 and their families, bringing hands-on leadership to the wider team involved in HT Kids, and reaching out to children and families in Cambridge who don’t yet know Jesus. A major part of this role will be managing staff and volunteers to increase their confidence and fruitfulness as they work with children. You will be a leader of leaders, with a heart to invest in and facilitate the ministry of others.

Macular disease is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, with around 300 people diagnosed every day. The Macular Society is the only charity determined to beat the fear and isolation of macular disease with world class research, and the best advice and support.
To support people affected by macular disease now, the Macular Society provides a range of support, information and services. Our research programme is focused on finding new treatments and a cure to beat macular disease forever.
We are seeking someone who can support our Community Engagement team to ensure groups and group volunteers have the resources they need to thrive. The candidate needs to have an open and collaborative approach and the ability to multitask and prioritise multiple projects and work streams.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director-level communications professional with a strong background in knowledge translation of technical information to different audiences internationally.
Reporting to the Executive Director and serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Director of Communications & Knowledge Translation will provide strategic leadership for all Health Care Without Harm Europe’s Communications and KT activities. The Director will lead exciting new digital KT initiatives in line with our new Strategy and as a key part of a small, high-performing team working at the timely intersection of health and the environment. S/he will lead and support all of the organisation’s engagement and communication with target audiences, so that they achieve maximum impact on European healthcare policy and practice in support of the organisation’s mission.
The post is for an initial 12-month period, at a critical time of development for the organisation’s communications and KT activities. We intend to make the post permanent thereafter, subject to receiving sufficient funding, and we have high hopes that this will be the case.

Join Baca, a dedicated organisation supporting unaccompanied asylum-seeking children aged 16–18. We’re looking for a compassionate, proactive, and resilient Support Worker to help young people rebuild their lives with dignity, hope, and purpose.
What You’ll Do
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide holistic, therapeutic support to young people transitioning to adulthood. Your role will include:
- Supporting physical and emotional wellbeing
- Encouraging engagement in education, employment, and training
- Promoting social inclusion and personal safety
- Teaching essential life skills like cooking, budgeting, and cleaning
- Building trusted relationships and being a positive role model
- Collaborating with social workers, volunteers, and external agencies
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to support plans
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is:
- Empathetic and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting young asylum seekers
- Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities
- A strong communicator, both written and verbal
- A team player, who thrives in a diverse, multicultural environment
- Flexible, with the ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
Essential Requirements
- Alignment with Baca’s values and mission.
- Experience working with young people (1:1 and group settings)
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Enhanced DBS check (required)
Desirable
- Experience working with unaccompanied asylum seekers or trafficked young people
- Knowledge of asylum processes and trafficking risks
- Experience working cross-culturally and with statutory agencies
