NACCOM is recruiting a new permanent External Affairs Manager to lead the work of our small but highly impactful External Affairs team.
About the role:
NACCOM is a national network of over 135 frontline organisations and charities across the UK, working together to end destitution amongst people seeking asylum, refugees and other migrants who aren’t able to access public funds because of their immigration status.
We do this by campaigning collectively for a fairer, more humane immigration system that doesn’t leave people destitute, and by sharing our learning, innovation, and resources across our membership to increase the level of accommodation provision and support the network is able to provide.

Job purpose:
The External Affairs Manager will work closely with the Director and provide vital support to NACCOM and its members by:
- Ensuring the strategic planning, management and alignment of communications, policy, research, campaigns, and advocacy as part of the External Affairs function at NACCOM.
- Ensuring NACCOM’s external affairs functions feed from and into our network development work and our Community Ambassador / Research programme
- Growing and safeguarding NACCOM’s brand identity, integrity and strategic positioning across all our external channels, networks and audiences.
- Line-managing and supporting the Policy and Research Co-ordinator, Community Research Facilitator and part-time Communications Co-ordinator (currently covered by a freelancer) as well as managing any external consultants NACCOM works with across the External Affairs function.
- Along with the Director, acting as spokesperson for NACCOM.
- Overseeing the spend against budget for External Affairs-related work.
- Representing NACCOM at key, high-level meetings and coalitions, including with journalists, decision-makers and partners.

About the role:
This role's primary purpose is to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement of Respect's training programmes. This involves an experienced Trainer facilitating courses, webinars, and workshops, as well as overseeing the creation of new training content and securing its CPD certification or OCN accreditation. The core purpose of this position is to drive the quality and reach of Respect's learning and development programme.
About you:
- At least three years’ experience of domestic abuse client work, preferably with perpetrators
- Experience in delivering training for different audiences and in various formats (face-to-face, online, blended learning)
- Experience in project management, including budget management for training programmes
- Experience in training evaluation and impact measurement

Ten Ten Resources is seeking a Schools Support Officer to play a vital role in supporting our partner schools in their use of our award-winning Catholic educational resources. Place of Work
This is a home-based role, open to candidates based in the UK. The successful candidate will work remotely as part of Ten Ten’s home-based team.
The role is full-time (35 hours per week), typically worked across Monday to Friday. However, we are open to applications on a job-share basis, where two individuals work together to fulfil the responsibilities of the role. While there is some flexibility in working hours, availability is expected during core daytime hours to ensure collaboration with colleagues and timely support for schools.
We meet weekly as a team on Zoom to share updates, collaborate on projects, and pray together. In addition, we gather in person at least three times per year - typically once per term - for planning, training and team-building. These in-person gatherings usually involve overnight stays and are held at various locations around the UK.

The CMV Connect Project Coordinator role is designed to enhance the charity's outreach and support initiatives, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, families, and the broader community. This position involves coordinating projects that aim to increase awareness, provide resources, and support families affected by cCMV. This role is a part time role funded by National Lottery Community Fund. It is a freelance contractor role, as it is a contract for services.
CMV Action is a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting families affected by congenital cytomegalovirus (cCMV), a leading cause of childhood disabilities such as deafness, developmental delays, and vision impairment. The charity provides information, advocacy, and support to raise awareness and improve outcomes for those impacted by cCMV, both during pregnancy and in babies and children.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of CMV Connect initiatives, ensuring they align with the charity's objectives. Work with other Operation Team members and report to the Board fortnightly.
- Supporting families: Work with the trustees to follow up on those we support and identify how we can support them in the future. Work with volunteers to organise in-person and online opportunities for families to meet up.
- Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and support volunteers involved in CMV Connect project.
- Event Management: Organise and support events and campaigns aimed at raising awareness and funds for CMV Action.

About the Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead delivery of key Local Offer programmes, such as our successful Peer Review and Peer Network Programme, which are designed to support Local Authorities and organisations in meeting the needs of young people and in the case of Local Authorities meet their Statutory Duty (section 507B).
- Manage the delivery of traded services relating to Quality Standards and Organisational Development.
- Manage and regularly update both existing and new online resources related to Quality Standards, ensuring consistency and standardisation across all materials.
