Dementia UK’s Mass Participation team is growing! We are looking for a Challenge Events Assistant to join us for an 8-month fixed term contract to support the delivery of additional own place runners as a result of the 2027 Double TCS London Marathon.

Working closely with our Challenge Events Executives and Assistants, you will primarily support the day-to-day delivery of our London Marathon activity. You’ll be a key point of contact for supporters, communicating regularly by phone, email and SMS, providing excellent stewardship and helping with the administration and logistics of the 2027 Double TCS London Marathon. You’ll also support with activity across the wider Challenge Events program.

Whilst the Mass Participation team come to our head office in Aldgate, London twice a week, we have flexible working arrangements for this role, so you can choose to be remote or hybrid. Some flexibility will be needed to travel to the office nearer the time of the 2027 London Marathon and to attend the event to support event logistics.

We are looking for you to be organised, enthusiastic and detail-focused, and have strong administrative and customer service skills. You’ll be confident communicating by phone, email and SMS, comfortable working with databases and data, and able to prioritise a varied workload. Previous experience in an administrative or fundraising environment would be an advantage, but most importantly, you’ll bring a collaborative approach and willingness to learn.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an organised, compassionate and proactive Programme Coordinator to help deliver and develop our programme of peer support meetings, while ensuring our volunteers feel confident, supported and connected.

Purpose of the role

The Programme Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of Frazzled's online and face-to-face peer support programme.

Working closely with the Head of Programmes, you'll oversee Frazzled’s meeting schedules, recruit and support volunteer facilitators, coordinate training and onboarding, carry out regular observations and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programme. You'll play a key role in ensuring our services are delivered safely, consistently and in line with the Frazzled model.

This is a varied hands-on role that combines excellent organisation with relationship building, volunteer development and continuous improvement. You'll be equally comfortable organising complex schedules, supporting volunteers through challenging situations and contributing ideas that help our programmes continue to grow while staying true to what makes Frazzled unique.

Frazzled runs meetings from early morning until late evening, seven days a week. As a core part of this role involves observing and supporting facilitators as issues arise, some evening and weekend work will therefore be required as well as regular travel to our face-to-face sites across England.

Rape Crisis England & Wales is the national membership and accreditation body for a network of Rape Crisis Centres that provide specialist support for survivors of sexual violence and abuse. Our Fundraising and Development Officer will support our daily fundraising operations. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating contractor relationships, managing administrative tasks, supporting our governance arrangements, collating data and ensuring smooth communication across departments. You will play a key role in optimising processes, handling logistics, and assisting in the delivery of operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

The overall purpose of this role is to provide administrative and operational support across the fundraising department. You will work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Development to support donor recognition and stewardship, fundraising finance processes, and collate data for reporting against KPIs.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

Donor recognition and supporter care

• Thank Challenge event and one-off donors promptly, warmly, and accurately, within agreed turnaround times, tailoring acknowledgements by gift size, channel, and giving history.

• Administer donor recognition processes, including welcome journeys for new regular givers, milestone and anniversary acknowledgements, and recognition of mid-level and repeat donors.

• Respond to supporter enquiries by email, phone, and post in a professional and sensitive manner, escalating complex matters as appropriate.

General fundraising support

OVERALL PURPOSE

To support the Products Manager in the development, delivery and administration of innovative fundraising products and initiatives that generate income for NHS Charities Together whilst helping NHS charities increase their own fundraising income.

The Development Product Executive will play a key role in coordinating fundraising products including the lottery programme, the National Legacy Campaign, , fundraising toolkits and collective fundraising initiatives. The role will help ensure products are delivered effectively, members receive excellent support and product performance is monitored to drive continuous improvement.

Working collaboratively across the Development team, the Development Product Executive will help deliver high-quality fundraising products that are accessible, scalable and responsive to the needs of NHS charities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Delivery & Development

• Support the Products Manager with the delivery and ongoing development of fundraising products, campaigns and initiatives for NHS charities.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

• Experience working within a fundraising, marketing or project coordination role
• Experience coordinating projects or campaigns involving multiple stakeholders
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience producing reports and analysing performance data
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience maintaining databases or CRM systems
• Excellent attention to detail and administrative skills
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Desirable

• Membership or subscription recruitment experience, particularly involving acquisition campaigns or supporter recruitment, would be advantageous.
• Experience supporting fundraising campaigns or products
• Knowledge of fundraising products including lotteries, legacy fundraising or individual giving
• Experience developing toolkits, guidance or fundraising resources
• Experience working with external suppliers or agencies
• Knowledge of fundraising regulation, GDPR and charity sector best practice
• Experience using Raiser's Edge or another fundraising CRM
• Understanding of NHS charities or the wider health charity sector

Individual Giving and Legacies Manager

Fundraising & Engagement | Remote (UK-based)

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Hours: Full time (35 hours per week to be worked over 5 days)

Location: Home-based in the UK with occasional paid travel to London

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 30 June 2029 (with potential for extension)

About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on fundraising leader who can develop and deliver our Individual Giving and Legacies programme, spanning legacies, membership, regular giving, lottery, appeals, publications, merchandise, Gift Aid, in-memory giving and supporter care. You will be able to balance planning with delivery, using data-driven insight to acquire, retain, upgrade and reactivate supporters while building a positive team culture where your team members feel valued, supported and empowered to do their best work.
