Job Title: Fostering Recruitment Officer

Salary: £26,854 per annum salary (increasing to £29,838 in 18 months) + £750 per annum Homeworking Allowance

The Fostering Recruitment Officer will have a varied and interesting role working flexibly, including evenings and weekends, organising a variety of events, peer support groups, and promotional opportunities amongst local communities. Building relationships and communicating on the fostering process, the post holder will work closely with the West Midlands Team, existing foster carers and children and young people to promote the variety of services and benefits TACT provides to carers that contribute to making a positive difference to the outcomes for the young people and children in our care.

Overall Duties of the Fostering Recruitment Officer will include:

• Working collaboratively with the team to progress fostering enquiry management
• Support community recruitment activity to create a consistent pipeline of carer applicants
• Facilitating a smooth application and assessment process for potential foster carers
• Undertaking essential admin relating to record keeping, creation of data for analysis, evidence for measuring objectives
• Creative contribution to innovation and improvement of strategies and local recruitment activities
• Maintaining an understanding of regulations and requirements for provision of foster care services
• Working flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and travelling throughout the area

This is a homebased role with the requirement for frequent travel across the West Midlands Area to travel to face-to-face events, team meetings, training and team wellbeing events.

Our client are passionate about making a positive difference. They’re now looking for Money Advisers to join our National Debtline team and help them support people across the UK to tackle their debts and manage their money with confidence. 

As a Money Adviser, you’ll provide tailored, specialist money advice to clients. You’ll help clients navigate complex debt situations, providing clear, empathetic and non-judgemental support while meeting quality and productivity standards. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

· Providing specialist money advice and support across multiple channels. 

· Communicating with clients in a clear, supportive and empathetic way. 

· Identifying and explaining appropriate debt solutions (e.g. DROs, IVAs, DMPs). 

· Accurately maintaining client records and administrative processes. 

· Collaborating with colleagues to ensure service quality and continuous improvement. 

· Acting as an ambassador in all client and stakeholder engagement. 

About You 

Their ideal candidates will bring: 

· Proven experience in a telephony customer service or advice role. 

· Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to explain complex information simply to a variety of callers, some of whom may be distressed or have suicidal thoughts. 

· A customer-focused, empathetic and non-judgemental approach. A high level of IT proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Zoom) and ability to adapt to new systems. 

· Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively. 

· Resilience and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.

This permanent, full-time role, to which the Circuit has made an initial five-year commitment, is Circuit-wide, but locally based. The person appointed will help lead the development of a Circuit-led New Places for New People (NPNP) initiative for and with young people within the Circuit, which we anticipate will lead to the upscaling of this area of ministry in the medium term.

 We are seeking a collaborative self-starter who is able to work in strategically missional ways in order to reach and disciple young people, in enabling them to flourish in every part of their lives. You are likely to hold a degree-level qualification in Theology, or a subject related to this area of ministry. Ideally, this might be a professionally-qualifying JNC award. Applicants not holding a JNC, or equivalent, may still be considered.

 A specific faith is an essential requirement for this role and in accordance with the Equality Act, 2010, it is an occupational requirement that the successful candidate is a practising Christian.

The post-holder will have access to office space at The Well Methodist Church, 164 North Road, Darlington, DL1 2EL. As an unqualified, inexperienced independent multi-disciplinary advocate, you will be required to enrol on the Level 4 Independent Advocacy Practice qualification and complete the course within a set timescale, using protected study time to focus on this. You will shadow experienced team members and then be observed providing advocacy to those who are eligible for our services until you are able to pick up a caseload of your own. You will receive training in the different remits of advocacy, instructed and non-instructed advocacy and safeguarding and be supported to develop a thorough understanding of the role and boundaries of advocacy. The role involves acting on the instruction of the people you support, empowering them to have a say in their situation, to understand their rights and any options open to them and supporting them towards self-advocacy. About the role

This role is maternity cover and will be offered on a fixed term contract. 

The role will report directly in to the Town Clerk and be responsible for the Events Officer, contractors and volunteers. You will work closely with other officers including Communications, Public Services, Community, Heritage and Support Officer. 

Crewe Town council has a rich and varied events and culture programme planned and set out  for 2026 which needs oversight while the events and culture manager is on maternity leave. The role

The welfare rights adviser will report to the welfare rights supervisor.

The welfare rights adviser  will be supporting people affected by long term health issues with financial challenges, supporting with benefit and housing advice, and referring on for further support where appropriate. 

Experience as a welfare rights adviser, including managing your own casework, is essential when applying for this role.

Principal accountabilities / responsibilities: -

Welfare rights advice and casework

· To provide welfare rights advice and casework for people affected by long-term health conditions, including inpatients, outpatients, and carers.

· To work at least two days per week on site, mainly based at the Royal Free Hospital or the Royal Free Charity office

· To provide advice and support primarily on welfare benefits and housing matters (that do not require a solicitor).

· To check whether clients are in receipt of all the benefits they are entitled to and help them claim relevant benefits.

· To help clients understand benefit decisions and challenge them (where appropriate) by way of mandatory reconsiderations and appeals.

· To help clients ensure they keep to their responsibilities in respect of their benefit claims, for example by notifying any relevant changes of circumstances.

· To refer or signpost clients to other agencies or departments as appropriate, e.g., housing solicitors; community care cases involving social services and NHS duties, FCA-regulated debt and immigration services.

· To signpost or refer to other services that might be valuable to a client such as condition specific charities, mental health support, or offerings in the local community that would improve their health and wellbeing.

· As part of this role, there may be some advice given to NHS staff.

· There may also be some involvement in new advice projects

· There will also be some triaging new referrals as part of this role

About the Role

As Community Support Lead: Development & Onboarding, you will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Hosted Partner (HP) journey — from first contact to successful onboarding and integration into HOST’s global community. 

You’ll ensure that new partners are welcomed with clarity, confidence, and care, and that HOST’s systems, materials, and communications evolve to meet their changing needs. Working closely with the Partnerships and Delivery teams, you’ll turn insights from partners into practical improvements, ensuring that every process reflects HOST’s empowering, expert, and empathetic values. 

This is a role for someone who loves creating systems that work for people — combining process design, service delivery, and human connection to help change-makers get started and grow. 

Core Responsibilities

1. Hosted Partner Onboarding and Development 

• Lead the full onboarding process for new Hosted Partners (HPs), ensuring smooth, compliant, and welcoming transitions into HOST’s systems. 

• Conduct Welcome, Onboarding, and Set-up calls with HPs to explain key services, tools, and responsibilities. 

• Ensure all onboarding documentation, contracts, and systems are completed accurately. 

• Collaborate with the Finance and Legal teams to ensure hosted partners meet compliance requirements before activation. 

• Track onboarding milestones and ensure timely transitions from application to full hosting. 

2. Hosted Partner Journey Development 

• Lead the design, development, and improvement of the Hosted Partner Journey materials and forms — from initial enquiry through onboarding, active hosting, and renewal. 

• Map and refine partner touchpoints, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility across services. 

• Work with the Communications Team to ensure all HP-facing materials and guides reflect HOST’s tone and values. 

• Collaborate with the Product Manager (HOSTHub Lead) to digitise, automate, and improve onboarding workflows. 

3. Partner Communication and Engagement 

• Maintain consistent, high-quality communication with partners throughout the onboarding and early development process. 

• Ensure partners have access to the right guidance, templates, and training resources. 

• Gather feedback from new HPs to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for service improvement. 

• Contribute to the Project Hosting Bulletin and updates for new HPs. 

4. Documentation, SOPs, and Training 

• Develop and maintain clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for onboarding and HP journey management. 

• Support internal training for Community Support Leads and relevant teams on new onboarding tools, systems, and processes. 

• Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and capacity building within the Partnerships Circle. 

5. Risk Identification and Escalation 

• Conduct initial screening and due diligence checks for new Hosted Partners, identifying potential operational, reputational, or compliance risks. 

• Escalate risk concerns to the Community Support Manager or relevant leads for review and mitigation 

• Maintain accurate documentation of risk assessments and onboarding decisions. 

6. Collaboration and Service Improvement 

• Work with the Training Lead to integrate onboarding insights into HealthChecks and workshops for new HPs. 

• Collaborate with the Finance, Legal, and Tech teams to align onboarding workflows and systems. 

• Support cross-team projects to improve the efficiency and consistency of the Hosted Partner experience. 

7. Growth and Learning Areas (Development Focus) 

• Develop leadership in onboarding design and service improvement. 

• Contribute to testing and adoption of HOSTHub features that enhance the HP journey. 

• Support the Partnerships Circle in developing standardised partner support materials. 

Required Experience 

• 3 years experience in customer services, account management or partner management — ideally within a not-for-profit, social enterprise, or global NGO environment. 

• Proven experience designing and delivering onboarding, training, or service delivery processes for clients or partners. 

• Strong background in relationship management, with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly with partners from diverse cultural and professional contexts. 

• 2+ years’ experience using and maintaining digital systems (project management and CRM platforms such as ClickUp and Zendesk) to manage workflows or client data. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and empathetically. 

• Demonstrated ability to improve or document processes — developing SOPs, templates, or resources that strengthen service quality and consistency. 

• Experience coordinating across teams (Finance, Legal, Tech, or Communications) to deliver high-quality partner or client experiences. 

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple onboarding cycles simultaneously. 

• Experience handling compliance checks, screening, or due diligence processes is highly desirable. 

• Comfortable working in a remote-first, international team, with strong self-management, accountability, and collaboration skills.
