The role

Evidence and Evaluation Officers are key to generating and synthesising evidence on what works and developing resources to support its translation to policy makers, commissioners and practitioners.

The primary focus of the role is contributing to the Strengthening Families, Supporting Children programme – a flagship initiative involving three large-scale comprehensive evaluations of distinct social work practice models. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to high-impact evaluations that will directly inform national policy. About you

About the team

This role will be part of a small Project Management Unit (PMU) located within the Programme Operations Team. About the role

The Monitoring & Learning Coordinator will lead the design, coordination, and implementation of monitoring, reporting, and learning processes for WaterAid’s Multi-country Urban Water Project. This is a bold initiative aiming to raise $40 million and reach two million people with clean water in urban areas across six anchor countries: Colombia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Mozambique, Bangladesh, and Cambodia. The campaign also seeks to build a global movement of youth advocates to demand action from world leaders to achieve SDG 6 relating to universal access to water and sanitation.

This role ensures accurate, timely data collection and learning, promotes adaptive management, and supports evidence-based decision-making.  Working closely with country teams and partners, the Monitoring & Learning Coordinator will strengthen monitoring and learning capacity, support the articulation and measurement of project impact, and help consolidate insights to inform both internal learning and sector-wide knowledge on urban water programming. This includes tracking progress towards the ambitious goal of reaching two million people.

The role will also support donor reporting, liaise with Member offices, and deputise for the Project Delivery Lead when required.

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• Experience working with urban WASH programmes, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.

The Actors’ Benevolent Fund supports professional actors and stage managers in times of need. We are inviting applications to join our small, friendly team in the role of Grants and Services Co-ordinator.

It is an exciting time to be joining the charity; our bold new Acting for Impact strategy seeks to increase the charity’s reach and impact within the performing arts community and you would play a key part in helping us achieve our ambitions. 

This Grants and Services Co-ordinator postholder will work directly with our applicants and beneficiaries, supporting them throughout our application processes and working with successful applicants to ensure the charity provides high-quality, appropriate support. This will include making grant decisions and working with beneficiaries to develop their support network.

We are looking for someone with experience of working with clients and service users, particularly as a first point of contact. Key aspects of the role also include supporting service development and leading on data management. Working as part of a small team (of four) you will need to be able to take an adaptable approach to manage competing priorities. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with clients, and work collaboratively with colleagues internally and externally.

Information Security Officer
Hybrid – Home & London | Permanent | Circa £60,000 | 35 hrs/week (flexible)

A rare and brilliant opportunity to join this international development children’s charity, as their new Information Security Manager. You'll be the expert, working closely with the Chief Information Officer and other senior leaders to embed security practices across systems, suppliers, and staff. You’ll be joining a small but impactful Technology team where the culture is collaborative and down-to-earth. You’ll have the autonomy to get stuck in, alongside the backing to develop professionally, whether that’s through security qualifications or broader leadership skills.

What you will be doing
As Information Security Manager, you’ll lead the implementation of the organisation’s cyber security plans.

• Act as subject matter expert on information security across the organisation
• Ensure compliance with standards like Cyber Essentials Plus and CIS.
• Oversee third-party security providers and outsourced ICT services.
• Manage incident response planning, investigations, and reporting.
• Deliver engaging training to build a strong security culture.
• Collaborate with Legal and Data Protection teams to ensure GDPR compliance.
• Stay ahead of evolving threats and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Opportunity to influence at board level without people management responsibilities

 
What we are looking for
What matters most is your hands-on experience navigating real-world security challenges and your ability to see both the technical and human side of data protection.
You should have:

• Proven experience in ICT security management and incident response (CIS and Cyber Essential Plus).
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud security.
• Familiarity with frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
• Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic, risk-based mindset.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. AZ-500, CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are highly desirable.
