Job Title: Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £44,000

Contract: Permanent, full-time – 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced Trusts and Foundations fundraiser to join our team at Power2, a fast growing and energetic youth charity.

You will lead on fundraising from Trusts and Foundations and be responsible for relationships, applications and reporting to major Trust and Foundation funders. You’ll lead internal processes for prospect research and have oversight of a growing portfolio of potential and existing donors. You will ensure a consistent pipeline of applications to meet your performance indicators and collate information from across the organisation to produce funder reports.

 You will have significant and demonstrable experience of fundraising from major Trusts and Foundations. You will have excellent project management skills, be skilled at writing compelling funding bids, be highly numerate and a great team player and collaborator. Previous experience or interest in the youth or education charity sector would be an advantage.

We operate hybrid working, and this role can be based at either our North-West (Ashton-under-Lyne) or London office, with at least two days working in the office per week. We offer flexibility as to when the role’s hours are worked, and exact working patterns can be discussed at interview.

This role will manage the delivery of our legacy marketing strategy across our priority markets reporting into the Global Legacy Director, and working closely with the Legacy Officers, the Direct Marketing and Digital Teams. Reporting and analyzing results to inform future learnings and strategies to drive awareness and consideration of legacy giving to IFAW.

Role and Responsibilities

The Legacy Marketing Specialist will have a global role, managing the marketing in each of our priority countries, Canada, US, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands and Australia.

• Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of all legacy campaigns across stewardship and acquisition including multi channel activity including digital, print, and events. Ensuring high-quality delivery and maximum impact.
• Work closely with and collaborate with internal teams including Direct Marketing, Design, Production and Digital as well as external agencies to develop compelling content and messaging aligned with the organisation’s brand and communication strategies.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance, analysing results and recommending new channels or strategies to grow legacy donor acquisition and retention.
• Manage the expenditure and across all legacy marketing activity and working closely with the Production team ensure cost-effective campaign delivery and adherence to financial processes.
• Deputise for the Global Legacy Director as needed and contribute to cross-team initiatives to support integrated fundraising goals.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Proven experience in UK charity of legacy marketing or fundraising across acquisition and stewardship.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and evaluation of multi-channel marketing activities across traditional and digital platforms.
• Demonstrable ability to collaborate with internal teams and external agencies, providing clear briefs and constructive feedback to deliver impactful campaigns.

We're on the lookout for a motivated Direct Marketing professional to bring their skills to our Individual Giving Team, with a focus on retention campaigns.

Direct Marketing plays an important role in the Charity’s fundraising and overall corporate strategy. We’re looking for a confident and proactive fundraiser to take responsibility for the delivery and ongoing development of our current retention programme.

You’ll deliver timely, targeted, relevant communications to our warm audiences; newly recruited and existing cash supporters and regular givers with the aim of strengthening loyalty and increasing their lifetime value.

With internal and external stakeholders, you’ll project manage existing direct marketing campaigns in the form of direct mail appeals, emails, telemarketing and occasional stewardship events. The Role

As Head of Programmes and Impact, you will:

• Oversee programme delivery – ensuring our current initiatives, from early years to secondary transition, run smoothly and achieve the best outcomes.

• Lead design and development of future programmes that respond to the needs of disadvantaged families across Maritime schools.

• Embed impact and evaluation – creating a clear Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) framework that captures both data and lived experience.

• Demonstrate impact – producing reports that inspire funders, inform strategy, and showcase the difference we are making.

• Collaborate with stakeholders – from schools and community groups to funders and local authorities, ensuring our work is evidence-based and community-led.

• Support fundraising – providing compelling impact evidence to strengthen bids and future funding opportunities.

You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Partnership Lead and the wider Maritime Academy Trust central team, as well as spending time in our 13 schools to see our programmes in action.

About the Role

SERT’s ambition is to reach as many people as possible in the South East, to teach and show them the importance of rivers in the environment, and how everyone can play a part in restoring them. We also want to be more reflective of the diverse communities who live in the South East, and build partnerships within these communities to reach a broader audience.

This role will lead the development and delivery of volunteering and community outreach activities that connect people with their local rivers. Activities will include practical volunteering such as river clean-ups, planting days, and invasive species control, as well as citizen science, guided walks, and community workshops.

For this role we are looking for someone who is:

• A self starter who is able to research, approach and secure funds for developing your programme of delivery.
• Enjoys and has a demonstrable experience writing, organising and managing a programme for volunteers and communities.
• Enjoys seeking out new opportunities and funding as well as keeping your existing volunteers engaged.
• A people person, who is able to plan, organise and multi task. You can think on your feet whilst being adaptable to varying situations, always remaining calm.
• Deeply passion and understanding of our natural environment and enjoy outdoor activities.

As Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, you will:

• Lead high-value fundraising across corporates, trusts, and major donors, ensuring income is maximised whether or not an appeal is live
• During appeals (typically one or two per year), deliver high-value income during national emergencies
• Oversee stewardship and account management of DEC’s partners, supporting managers to deliver exceptional relationships.
• Drive key strategic projects, including:
  • Refreshing the Rapid Response Network framework and offers
  • Embedding a core costs ask across corporates and trusts
  • Developing an emergency fund outside appeals to allow funders to plan contributions
  • Contributing to a major donor review and overseeing investment in trusts & foundations
  • Introducing wealth screening and segmentation for the first time
• Lead the mid-term review of DEC’s five-year strategy, assessing pipeline, budget deployment, and future investment
  priorities
• Provide oversight, stability, and external perspective to a strong, long-standing team

About you

We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on fundraising leader who can balance delivery with strategy and thrive in both steady-state and high-pressure contexts.

The role would best suit someone with: 

• Significant corporate fundraising expertise, with a strong track record in account management of complex, high-value partnerships
• Experience managing staff (minimum two people)
• Adaptable, proactive, and confident leading income delivery during fast-moving appeals
• Clear passion for DEC’s humanitarian mission and ability to inspire confidence with partners
• Trusts & foundations or major donor experience is desirable

What the job involves

Prostate Cancer UK offers a range of services to support men affected by prostate cancer and their loved ones. These include a multi-channel helpline, printed and online health information, 1:1 peer support and an online community.

We’re looking for a Support Services Innovation Manager to join us in an exciting new role, focused on growing the services’ reach, personalisation and variety, and helping them respond to key challenges. These include rising prostate cancer rates, more complex care pathways and treatments, shifting expectations around healthcare, and rapid changes in online behaviour due to evolving consumer-facing AI technology.

We’re also in the process of developing an ambitious new 10-year strategy for the charity, and you’ll play a key role in setting the terms for how we approach service development across this horizon. You'll carry out a discovery phase to explore the internal and external factors shaping our services, followed by a summary report with recommendations for innovation. Drawing on these insights, you’ll deliver and evaluate innovation use cases, ranging from MVPs to ready-to-implement solutions.

Alongside specific deliverables, you'll play a broader role across the Support Services team, spotting opportunities for innovation across service delivery, supporting business case development, and helping build our capability to evaluate service impact. You’ll use data to shape recommendations, foster an innovation mindset, and support colleagues to experiment, test and learn. You’ll also strengthen collaboration with the Technology team, help shape our long-term innovation approach, and ensure our work is informed by sector insights and shared effectively across the organisation.

What we want from you

To be successful in this role you’ll bring hands-on experience in service innovation and design, with a solid understanding of co-production and co-design principles. You’ll be familiar with navigating both agile and waterfall approaches to project delivery.

You’ll know how to use data to tell compelling stories, demonstrate impact, and uncover opportunities, and you’ll be able to clearly communicate the value of innovation to a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll also be skilled at coaching and training colleagues to adopt innovation processes and mindsets.

A confident self-starter, you’ll work independently to a high standard and manage your time effectively across both short- and long-term priorities. An understanding of service delivery in a healthcare context is essential, along with the ability to think strategically and ensure innovation aligns with the bigger picture.
