Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Are you passionate about enhancing the rehomability and rehoming outcomes for dogs in our care? If so join our Dogs team as Intake and Rehoming Specialist on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract.
Acting as a subject matter expert overseeing and readying the successful preparation of dogs, on and offsite, for new homes, our Intake and Rehoming Specialist, Dogs will provide skilled guidance, mentor staff and will contribute to decisions regarding animal welfare and rehoming outcomes.
They will deliver high standards of care, welfare and behaviour support and will develop and implement rehoming strategies for each dog, considering their individual needs and characteristics to swiftly prepare them for appropriate homes. They will;
- Oversee a designated caseload of dogs both on and offsite, ensuring they receive appropriate care and support from those involved in providing their day-to-day care.
- Provide skilled health and behaviour support to address any challenges and enhance adoptability.
- Conduct thorough welfare assessments to determine suitability for rehoming and identify any necessary interventions.
- Provide regular support and communication to those looking after pets offsite, ensuring they have what they need for optimal health and behaviour outcomes.
This role requires an individual to be approachable and have the desire and ability to motivate, inspire and develop others, showing strong communication skills with a positive outlook. They will also act as a role model, imparting the values and ethos of the charity and will assist in developing staff skills and knowledge to improve their effectiveness in their roles.
Our successful applicant will have significant experience of working in a dog care and welfare environment, ideally in a rehoming centre context. As our Intake and Rehoming Specialist, you will be required to maintain accurate records and data and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards an understanding of Microsoft Office is required.
This is a full time 6 month fixed term opportunity working 37.5 hours per week to include 1 in 3 weekends. The starting salary for this position is £26,841 pro rata per annum, depending on experience. This is complemented by;
- 36 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays) rising by 1 day each year to 40 days after five years

We are looking for a candidate with strong budget oversight and organisational skills to join our small team and be our lead for Camden's Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme, a national programme funded by the Department for Education. With the support of YCF's Head of Partnerships & Grants and CEO, you will oversee and manage a significant budget, and all project management aspects of the programme, to ensure excellent, high-quality provision for Camden's Free School Meal eligible children and young people.
In August 2025, the programme was extended nationally by the DfE for an additional three years, and we await confirmation as to the exact allocation for Camden, which would hopefully enable us to extend this role to a three year contract to 2029.
About the HAF programme in Camden and this role
Young Camden Foundation has been Camden Council’s delivery partner for the national, Department for Education funded Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme since its inception in 2021. The programme distributes around £800,000 per year to support Free School Meal eligible children and young people in the borough across the main holidays of Spring, Summer and Winter.
You will lead all project management, from budget stewardship to overseeing programme delivery, with the support of the team. You will oversee a complex budget of around £800,000 ensuring its effective use throughout the year. You will ensure that each HAF programme in Camden offers young participants a diverse and enjoyable range of activities provided by respected organisations, operating at the highest levels of safety, quality, and in alignment with the Department for Education’s funding requirements. You will lead on all reporting, data processing, overseeing of invoicing, and communications of the programme.

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. Women in Prison’s Advocates deliver high-quality, trauma-informed, independent advocacy for women in communities and in prisons, which focuses on early intervention, and holistic provision as part of a ‘whole system’ multi-agency response that looks to address the root causes of women’s offending.

Centrepoint Church is a vibrant, multi-generational Christian community based in Bathgate, Scotland (with a second congregation in Edinburgh). As we grow beyond 200 in attendance and embark on a major facility renovation at our Bathgate site, we are seeking a high-capacity Operations Director to strengthen our operational foundation. This part-time role functions as a non-pastoral “chief operating officer” for the church, translating vision into action through people, resources, and systems. In this hands-on position, you will serve as the operational glue of the church – ensuring administrative systems run seamlessly, information flows to the right people, and nothing falls through the cracks – so that our pastors are freed to focus on preaching, discipleship, and care. It’s an exciting opportunity to provide servant-hearted leadership through administration, undergirding the church with excellent stewardship, compliance, and execution so that our gospel mission can flourish unhindered.
Key Responsibilities
- Senior Pastor Support & Workload Protection: A core mandate of this role is protecting the Senior Pastor’s time. Proactively intercept and reassign operational tasks before they land on the Senior Pastor’s desk, implementing clear intake/triage processes and calendar guardrails from day one so his time is freed for preaching, visionary leadership, and leadership development.
- Governance, Compliance & Policy: Serve as a key liaison to the Board of Trustees, providing regular operational and financial reports. Ensure the church operates in full compliance with charity law and all regulatory requirements (safeguarding/PVG, health & safety, GDPR, etc.). Own the policy lifecycle – keeping policies up to date, maintaining a live risk register, and scheduling regular policy reviews and staff training.
- Finance & Stewardship: Lead the church’s financial administration and controls – driving the budgeting process, managing expenditures/approvals, and maintaining cash-flow oversight. Work closely with the Treasurer to produce timely financial reports for the Senior Pastor and trustees. Ensure audit readiness and implement any audit recommendations, exercising cost-effective stewardship of contracts and resources.
- Sundays & Events Logistics: Oversee operational support for Sunday services and occasional special events to ensure they run smoothly (covering venue setup, tech/AV, volunteer rotas, etc.). Primarily coordinate Sunday logistics through preparation and team leadership during the week – this role does not require being on-site every Sunday (Sunday on-site involvement is only occasional, as needed for major events or troubleshooting).
- Facilities & Projects: Manage the church’s facilities to ensure our buildings and venues are safe, ready, and welcoming each week. Lead facilities projects and capital works – including serving as the point person for the Bathgate site renovation – by coordinating contractors/architects and minimising disruption to church life.
- HR Oversight & People Systems: Oversee the HR function through the HR Manager to ensure that recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and staff development are carried out effectively and in line with employment law and best practice. Keep the staff handbook and HR policies current (e.g. employment legislation, safeguarding/PVG, GDPR), maintain an annual HR calendar for policy updates and trainings, and report regularly to trustees on HR matters.
- Operational Systems & Technology: Continuously improve and oversee the church’s administrative systems and technology. Implement best-practice workflows, databases, and communication tools to enhance efficiency. Lead the adoption and effective use of digital platforms (including church management software like ChurchSuite, project management apps, etc.) so that information flows reliably, tasks are tracked, and nothing falls through the cracks. Act as a liaison to our communications and tech teams to ensure technology supports ministry needs (while not being the content creator).
- Team Leadership: Lead, line-manage, and develop the church’s admin and operations team (staff and key volunteers). This includes direct oversight of team members such as the HR Manager, Church Administrator, Bookkeeper, Building Manager, and Health & Safety Officer. Provide regular one-to-one meetings, feedback and performance reviews, setting clear objectives and offering coaching. Foster a collaborative, servant-hearted team culture where people are supported yet held accountable, and ensure strong communication across all ministries.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a committed Christian with a strong, mature faith and a lifestyle of integrity and prayer (this role carries a genuine occupational requirement for Christian faith). Fully embraces Centrepoint’s values and mission.
- Is (or is willing to become) a participating member of Centrepoint, aligning with our doctrinal convictions – including our complementarian practice in pastoral leadership.

- Is tech-savvy and adaptable, quick to learn new software and systems (familiarity with tools like ChurchSuite, Planning Center or similar is a plus). Proactive in finding solutions, and calm under pressure with a “can-do” attitude to tackle unforeseen challenges.
- Models servant leadership, leading by example with humility, reliability, and a passion for excellence in support of the church’s mission. Highly relational and approachable, able to inspire trust and teamwork in others as you implement change.
Terms: This position is part-time (30 hours per week, 4 days) based in Bathgate, with involvement at our Edinburgh site as needed. Salary is £33,000–£36,000 per annum (full-time equivalent), pro-rated to 4 days (approximately £26,600–£28,800 actual). The start date is 24 November 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (we are not able to sponsor visas). Centrepoint offers employer pension contributions, statutory holiday and sick leave (pro rata), and a flexible working environment. Work days can be arranged flexibly (with some remote work possible) aside from key meetings or on-site needs.
Sunday or evening work is not regularly required; however, occasional presence on a Sunday or at special events may be needed for critical operational support. Stella Maris is the official maritime charity of the Catholic Church. We are looking for a Regional Port Chaplain for East Anglia to support seafarers, fishers and their families.
In this unique and rewarding role, you'll be the welcoming face of Stella Maris in your region, visiting ships, listening to crew members, and offering practical, pastoral and spiritual support to anyone in need, regardless of faith or background.
About the role
No two days are the same. You might spend the morning visiting ships and listening to crew members' stories, help someone contact their family back home, support a seafarer in crisis, or offer a quiet moment of prayer on deck.
You'll also recruit and support a team of volunteers, work closely with other maritime charities and local partners, and build strong relationships with parishes, dioceses, and port authorities. You'll be part of a nationwide network of Stella Maris chaplains, supported through regular meetings, retreats and professional development opportunities.

Strategic Leadership

Partnership Development:

Campaign Execution:

Budget Management:
- Manage the budget for gaming and influencer marketing initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources in line with operational needs.
- Ensure cost-efficiency and return on investment for game projects.
Wishgranting:
- Support connections to help grant wishes for children with gaming-related wishes by establishing relationships with industry partners, networks and individuals who can help.

About The Hepatitis C Trust
The Hepatitis C Trust (HCT) work with people who face severe health inequalities, including people who have hepatitis C and other health needs. With almost 500 staff and volunteers, we are the biggest lived experience organisation working in Inclusion Health in the UK. Our teams work in every community NHS area and in every prison in England, conducting outreach and providing a link between NHS services and the people they struggle to engage. We also work in parts of Scotland and Wales.
