We are recruiting a Dad Matters Coordinator to help us reach more families in Brent. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with parenting experience to support new dads at a critical time in their parenting journey. The Dad Matters Coordinator will be passionate about supporting fathers to create strong secure bonds with their babies. You will have the compassion and skills to enable dads to have those difficult conversations, and talk about how they’re really feeling.

The Dad Matters Coordinator will deliver a range of universal and targeted interventions aimed at fathers in the First 1001 Days. You will support dads and other male carers with attachment and bonding, mental health and access to service. You will also work with professionals and perinatal services to ensure dads and male carers are engaged, supported and heard within clinical pathways. Additionally, you will help develop and run sessions with dads and will be at the forefront of growing our Dad Matters volunteering opportunities.

We are looking for someone who can build on our existing relationships in the borough and make a real impact on the mental health and wellbeing of new dads and dads-to-be. 

The work requires a combination of field-based community engagement and training in Brent and regular days in the office in Barnet. You will need to travel regularly across the borough and be visible in the community.

We are a small charity which is expanding and looking to provide additional administrative support for our busy teams.  We have an exciting opportunity to join the South East Rivers Trust and become part of the small and dynamic Finance and Operations team, sitting at the heart of the organisation. The General Administrator role has been created to support with a variety of tasks, including calendar management for catchment meetings, which are hosted both in person and virtually, across the region.  In addition to logistical arrangements of these meetings, the successful applicant will support with all aspects of hosting, including minute taking.  The role will also  support the research, writing, collation and management of documents, for internal and external circulation.  Other tasks will include supporting with budgets, expenses and invoices, requiring confidence in dealing with numbers, spreadsheets and suppliers.

It is desirable for candidates to be proficient in one or more Eastern European languages.

You will have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to women as well as up-to-date knowledge of legislation relating to survivors of gender-based violence. You will have excellent casework skills, good written and verbal communication skills, clear professional boundaries and be a proactive team player. All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the feminist values of empowerment and equality which underpin all of our work. 

The post holder will provide a high-quality personal welfare support service to Eastern European survivors of domestic abuse and other forms of violence and abuse and their children. The post holder will empower Eastern European survivors by providing them with emotional and practical support, including support to access safe accommodation.

Working with the Executive Coordinator you will provide administrative support to the wider Leadership Team, enabling them to deliver ambitious plans at a time of organisational growth. 

It involves collaborating closely with Global Canopy team members, particularly Communications Leads, to develop and deliver comprehensive project plans for key external-facing events such as London and New York Climate Weeks (annually), climate COPs (annually), and biodiversity COPs (biennially). 

The successful applicant will serve as the primary point of contact for summit-related events, coordinating meetings, tracking follow-up actions, and providing updates through internal communications. You will oversee all logistical arrangements, including conference registration, travel, accommodation, visa procurement, and insurance, while preparing travel packs for attendees. 

A confident self-starter, you will be able to juggle multiple priorities, across different teams, with excellent IT and organisational skills with a need to log, manage and analyse information, using Excel, Google Workspace applications, and Asana.

Princess Alice Hospice is one of the top ten adult hospices in the UK, providing specialist palliative care and support to a community of more than a million people living in Surrey, South West London and Middlesex. 

The Night Response Team (NR) provides specialist on call palliative nursing care between the hours of 22.00 and 08.00, 7 days a week for palliative care patients known to Princess Alice Hospice.

The Team also provides nursing care and assistance to palliative and general patients who are referred from the district nursing service, the OOH’s service (111), local ambulance services SECAMB and LAS, Mole Valley Telecare and Tunstall Community Alarm services. This includes palliative patients who are not known to PAH. Night Response visit patients in their own homes as well as in care and residential homes.

A Night Response shift will be covered by two members of staff per night, usually one RN and an SHCA, occasionally two RN’s.

We are based in an office on the in-patient unit at the Hospice. We receive calls, provide information, support and advice to patients, families, and other health care professionals, whilst visiting patients as required throughout the night.

The Night Response Service brings the skills and expertise of our highly trained and dedicated specialist team directly into the patients homes. This allows patients, their families and carers access to the vital support they need at home, when time matters most, providing the opportunity for patients to remain at home and reducing the need for hospital admissions.  

 About the role: 

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, dynamic and versatile Staff Nurse with excellent interpersonal, communication and telephone triage skills, to join our Night Response Team.

Experience in caring for patients who are terminally ill is essential. You will need to be able to work autonomously and have an excellent understanding of care provision in the community and be involved in auditing the service provided. 

You will need a full driving license with a maximum of 6 points for use of the hospice vehicle (automatic)

You will be motivated, a flexible thinker, and able to adapt to new ways of providing care to reach more patients within the community. You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy assessing the needs of patients, families, and carers.

About the role:
