The Chief Executive will be responsible for providing leadership, developing, and implementing Living Well Bromley’s strategic and operational plans, leading on partnership and business development, and being an effective advocate for the charity and its beneficiaries.

Maximise Giving
You will implement a philanthropic giving strategy that significantly shifts the museums approach towards the generation of substantial philanthropic income and that supports the Museum's vision and mission. You will work collaboratively with the Executive, Board of Trustees and senior leadership team to establish a long-term plan and supporting fundraising strategies that align and help the museum move forward with its objectives.
Cultivate and Steward Donors
You will actively cultivate and steward relationships with potential and existing donors, for major new, repeat and legacy gifts, significantly raising the profile of Beamish, generating excitement and a desire to support Beamish now and into the future across a range of projects. These will be supported by stewardship plans that foster mutual trust to secure ongoing support.
Reputation and Engagement
You will build the profile of the Museum through donor engagement. You will personally manage a portfolio of prospective donors, guiding them through the cultivation process, and ultimately securing new funding. You will work closely with the CEO building new networks, opening new doors and linking with communities in support of the museum's philanthropic goals and furthering its reputation and that of the sector.
Successful Philanthropy Team
You will ensure a high performing team is in place that supports Beamish’s Philanthropic strategy, imbuing a culture of innovation and enterprise across the museum. The team will ensure day to day delivery of the function, including to trusts and grants, provide excellent customer service, and produce timely data to support and measure the impact of all giving. The team will champion equality, diversity and sustainability and creating a strong culture of philanthropy throughout Beamish.
Essential Qualities, Experience and Knowledge
- Significant experience working at a senior level, building strong relationships with supporters who can give at a six/seven figure level.
- Demonstrable extensive networks, including trusts and foundations, corporate partners and high net worth individuals.
- Personal track record of securing six figure donations from Trusts and Foundations
- An excellent communicator who can inspire staff, volunteers and colleagues in taking our philanthropic strategy forwards.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills including tact, sophistication and gravitas
- ·Able to work collaboratively, engaging with colleagues to design robust project proposals and reporting, monitoring and evaluation systems
- Skilled in utilising financial information including project budgets
- A commitment to Beamish’s mission, objectives and guiding principles.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. The Events Officer plays a key role in our highly effective communications team, leading on the delivery of an impactful programme of events – both online and in person. This is a part time position working four days per week (30 hours), Monday to Friday.
Within this role, you can be based at home or in an Emmaus community. Wherever you are based, maintaining positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders is vitally important. The current patch for this role is Emmaus Brighton & Hove, Emmaus Greenwich and Emmaus Dover. Regular travel to these three communities will be required (usually one community visit per week). Travel to team meetings, usually held in Birmingham, and other locations will also be required on occasion.
Who are we looking for?
We require someone with a strong skillset and at least two years’ experience working in a busy communications, public relations or marketing role. Although not essential, knowledge and understanding of homelessness and the charity sector would also be an advantage.
Creativity and passion are a must. You will have a broad range of communications skills, love seeing your creative ideas come to life and keen to develop your skillset within a national homelessness charity.

SUDEP Action is the only UK charity focused on preventing epilepsy-related deaths. We have the only epilepsy bereavement service freely available to anyone suddenly bereaved by epilepsy (including SUDEP). By representing the voices of those who have died and who are bereaved, we aim to learn from deaths, and use research, policy and campaigns to raise awareness and take action that helps save lives.
Working both independently and with the wider team you will deliver a high-quality community fundraising service. We’re looking for someone who has worked in a fundraising department and/or similar role before, preferably in the charity sector. Engaging confidently with people and feeling comfortable in adapting your approach to different audiences is a key skill for this role - whether they are major donors, corporates or community fundraisers. This is particularly important as many of our supporters & fundraisers are bereaved.
Building positive supporter connections is at the heart of what we do at SUDEP Action, so setting a positive example of this through your plans and actions, and demonstrating the importance of maintaining strong, personalised supporter relationships is key. You’ll know how to follow processes to record, monitor and evaluate supporters’ engagement with community fundraising activities, so this feeds back into how the charity operates.
Much of the charity’s income comes from our motivated and passionate supporters, so this role is a key part of income generation. The successful candidate will be able to build on current processes and successes to grow our engagement across all fundraising activities, platforms and campaigns. Experience of bid/grant writing would be desirable.

Job Purpose:To provide administrative support for the Housing Team and to carry out general administrative tasks. To also be responsible for providing a professional and friendly welcome to all visitors and residents, providing information on services available.
Hours of work:21 hours (7 hours per day over 3 days)
Location : YMCA East Surrey, Hillbrook House, 68 Brighton Road, Redhill, Surrey, RH1 6QT.
Annual leave: Five weeks (pro-rata) plus bank holidays. Holidays increase after two years’ service to a maximum of five weeks’ pro-rata after six years’ service. The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.

Main responsibilities
- Provide a professional friendly welcome to all visitors and residents arriving at Hillbrook House and providing information on services and facilities available
- To deal with telephone enquiries and to put calls through to other staff, to take messages and to retrieve voicemail messages
- Ensure the visitor policy is complied with and the seen sheet is completed and kept up to date
· Collate, input and monitor data via various IT platforms
· Manage incoming client applications via guidance support and various IT platforms
· Complete and the keep the staff rota up-to-date and distribute to staff
· Filing and other administrative work as required
· Updating reception documents and maintaining contact folders
· To offer a helpful and supportive presence to residents and reporting of incidents
· Keeping tally on stock available and first aid items
· Cash transactions over the reception for resident rent and maintain accurate receipting and accounting of all monies and credit transactions taken whilst on duty, checking floats and reconciling the till at the end of the shift
- Ensure that all keys and equipment issued are signed for and are returned and stored as appropriate
- To provide administrative support for the housing team and to carry out general administrative tasks (using Microsoft Office and other platforms)
- To be responsible for the post at the weekend, ensuring incoming post is dated, and is distributed to appropriate staff and residents and that outgoing post is processed correctly

The Individual Giving Officer will play a crucial role in nurturing relationships with individuals, to give their donations and their time, to make a difference to the people with dyslexia that we support.
You will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and upgrade individual donors, ensuring a steady and growing stream of funding and support for the charity.

We are a dynamic, growing charity who are committed to further increasing our reach and impact over the next 5 years. Our aim is to double the number of beneficiaries we support, and particularly to assist significantly more people who are from lower-income backgrounds.
Main duties and responsibilities
· Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors to maximize financial support and our community of supporters.
· Plan and execute individual giving campaigns, across all available communication channels to engage donors effectively.
· Identify, organise and coordinate donor and community events, creating opportunities to engage, retain and celebrate supporters.
· Maintain accurate donor records, utilising data to inform decision-making and improve fundraising efforts.
· Prepare regular reports and analysis on individual giving performance.
· Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive individual giving strategy.
· Ensure activities are delivered to budget and performance effectively tracked.
· Provide a monthly report to the Head of Fundraising
· Work closely with the Head of Fundraising, Trusts Fundraiser, PR & Communications Officer, Fundraising Administrator and CEO, and liaise with the rest of the charity’s team.
· Compliance: maintain accurate records in accordance with data protection and fundraising regulations.
· Strategy: play a part in assisting the Head of Fundraising and Chief Executive in developing the Fundraising Strategy, budget and targets in line with the charity’s Strategic Plan.
· Provide support with events and admin as needed, including attendance at functions outside of normal working hours.
Ideal skills and experience:
· Experience in generating income from all or one or two of the following: individual, community and events fundraising.
· Excellent written communication skills with a proven ability to write compelling stories and innovative content for fundraising campaigns.
· A strong understanding of the importance of knowing your supporter base to maximise income through effective donor communication and engagement.
· Strong data management and analysis skills
· Good knowledge of current data protection/GDPR regulation.
· Good working knowledge of CRM databases and how to utilise to steward supporters.
· Good level of administrative and organisational competency
· Good IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases (currently Donorfy and Act!)
·Previous experience working in a charity/non-profit
· Willingness to attend events and meetings etc, for which expenses will be paid.
