They will play a key role in developing a funding plan that supports the Forest of Avon objectives. They will coordinate priorities across the team, bringing together information to build a pipeline of funding opportunity.

ADSS is Kent’s biggest independent charity dedicated to providing support to people affected by dementia. Summary of the role

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will be at the heart of our fundraising efforts, driving digital fundraising, managing multi-channel appeals and designing and implementing donor journeys to increase engagement, retention and income.

Main purpose of job

Working with the Head of Fundraising the Individual Giving Fundraiser will lead on developing and delivering strategies to grow income from individual supporters through acquisition, retention, and stewardship. You must be willing to share your experience of mental health and employment to support clients to address their concerns about employment and to support them to develop strategies to support them sustaining work.  Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace.  Experience of pre-employment support such as CV and application writing, and interview practice is desirable.

The role we are recruiting for is as follows: 

One Full Time: 35 hours per week - we offer flexible working which for this role is three days on site in our office in Bethnal Green and two days working from home.

You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences, to access training, education and volunteering opportunities. You will use a client led/person centred support approach.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience

About the Role:

As Fundraising Manager, you will support the Director of Fundraising in implementing our charity's strategy across trusts & foundations and corporate fundraising. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering fundraising plans, managing donor relationships, and leading income generation from both new and existing funders. This includes building funding propositions for corporate donors, securing grants, and stewarding relationships to maximise long-term support.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify and apply for funding from trusts, foundations, and corporates.
• Cultivate and steward relationships with funders and major donors.
• Manage the full grant and partnership lifecycle—from research to reporting.
• Collaborate with the Head of Partnerships to secure income from strategic corporate partners.
• Develop compelling, impact-driven funding proposals tailored to donor motivations.
• Organise donor events and cultivation activities.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and effective donor acknowledgement systems.
• Maintain up-to-date records and reporting systems for pipeline management.
• Stay abreast of fundraising trends, especially in youth, employability, and CSR sectors.

About You:

You’ll be an experienced fundraiser with a track record of securing five- and six-figure gifts.

You'll have a passion for transforming young lives and thrive in a mission-driven environment. You bring a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on fundraising execution, with the confidence to engage major donors and corporates.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills:

• At least 3 years' experience in fundraising, with success in securing significant grants.
• At least 2 years' experience in corporate fundraising or CSR partnerships.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with excellent proposal-writing skills.
• Outstanding research and analytical abilities.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Empathy for care-experienced young people and a commitment to the charity’s mission.
• Understanding of donor/partner motivations and corporate philanthropy.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM desirable.
• Event management and knowledge of local funders and corporate CSR programmes is a plus.

The Jewish Museum London has undergone substantial positive change over the past two years, moving out of our Camden site and moving to a ‘Museum without Walls’ model. With new leadership installed at both lay and staff levels and a consultation process underway for the development of a five and fifteen-year strategy the Museum is looking for a new member of the team to assist in running the day-to-day administration of the organisation.

Our museum is made up of passionate and expert staff and a collection of over 40,000 objects which are both accredited and designated with Outstanding status by Arts Council England. Our learning programmes hold multiple awards, and our visitor feedback is consistently very high, however, we have much bigger ambitions than our current success. The Museum is looking to expand, in space, in profile and in audience reach. We are looking for someone passionate about our potential to assist the wider team as we move forward to the next phase of the Jewish Museum London.

Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team the appointed candidate will have the organisational and administrative skills to ensure the Museum can effectively run its programmes and help grow the organisation.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
The main role of the Executive Assistant will be to administrate the activities of the Museum. Organizing key meetings on behalf of the Senior Leadership Team (this will include Finance, Ops, Collections and Learning) will be a key part of the role. Excellent communication skills are required as this role will involve liaising with a wide range of
internal and external stakeholders. You will assist with social media and general comms as the Museum’s digital presence continues to develop.
From time to time, you may be asked to provide research and presentations for meetings. In consultation with the Finance Director and Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day logistics of Museum activities.

· Ability to build positive and constructive working relationships with colleagues at all levels across the organisation.

With the support of the CSS team, you will have responsibility for the coordination of casework support for all clients, and have an allocated caseload of clients with varying levels of support needs.

You will be supervising and supporting volunteers and the Caseworkers during two casework sessions a week. In addition, you will be working closely with the CSM to develop and transition our Casework service to an allocated caseworker model.

Flexible working hours will be considered around essential service delivery and meeting times.

This is a frontline role; the post holder must be able to work in the office with clients on a one-to-one basis. A flexible and solutions-focused attitude is needed, as the service adapts to clients needs.

Casework Service at ASSIST Sheffield

ASSIST Sheffield offers holistic support to over 50 people at a time that live in Sheffield and South Yorkshire and who have been refused asylum in the UK.  Our casework forms part of the wrap-around support we offer to our clients and is intended to complement our other services such as accommodation and limited financial support and is in line with ASSIST’s vision ‘for all people seeking asylum in Sheffield to live life with dignity and hope for the future’.

ASSIST is always seeking to develop better ways of working with clients, to get the best possible outcomes for their future. At the heart of this is our 3-stage journey of tailored support and guidance for clients throughout their time at ASSIST which has been co-designed by our service users: 

Stabilising - by providing short-term initial accommodation and financial payments, people experience safety and reduced risks around homelessness and poverty;

Planning for the future - through legal referrals, advice, signposting and long-term accommodation, people build resilience and confidence and see improvements in health and wellbeing;

Moving On - through providing support to re-engage with the asylum system and build social networks, people develop their knowledge, understanding and skills and thrive in the local community.

The Casework Coordinator role is key to enabling this transition to occur without compromising on client care.

We are a friendly and supportive team and service; working to do our bit to counter the hostile environment. Our Casework service embodies values of empowerment, respect and (striving for) social justice.

We want clients to be able to access casework support in order to address issues in a timely, supportive, informative and friendly manner.  Our focus is on connecting people to opportunities, knowledge and services so they are able to access these and resolve their issues as independently as possible. If people need support to access their rights and entitlements, we will be alongside them to advocate to the best of our ability, for the best outcome.

We operate casework sessions twice a week and we have direct contact with all ASSIST clients via our monthly Welfare Sessions; in which money, essential provisions and more light-touch casework support (issues that can be progressed within 15 minutes) are available to every client.
