Job Title: Digital and Website Officer

*This role sits within a pay grade with a pay range of £26,887 to £42,371. The salary on appointment will be set at the lower end of the pay range, to a maximum of £34,629 depending on the candidate's skills and experience. This approach aims to ensure fair compensation for new hires while maintaining alignment with the structured pay scale for the role.

Context and purpose of role
We are looking for a Digital and Website Officer to join our Campaigns and Communications Team. The role holder will take a leading role in digital marketing, optimising our website using a data-led approach, and maintaining our digital asset management system.
Working with colleagues across the Supporter Engagement & Experience division and the wider business, they will also contribute to the development and delivery of marketing activities that deliver against brand and income targets.
They will work to upskill people across the organisation – including volunteers - to achieve greater impact with digital communications.
Key responsibilities
- Website – act as the GB web admin, working in partnership with the Digital Technical team to manage user journeys and ensure content is high quality and search engine optimised in line with the website strategy.
- Digital marketing – Create and implement digital marketing activity in line with the agreed digital strategy and against agreed return on investment targets. Create and implement digital marketing plans to support advocacy and marketing initiatives for our programmes using relevant digital channels for the target audience
- Content development – source / develop content and assets such as case studies, videos, blogs and images to drive engagement across digital channels including the Ramblers app. Ensure all content is of high quality, permissioned and easy for colleagues to find within the digital asset management system.
- Insight– undertake regular reporting and apply data insights to shape content, campaign and creative outputs, applying a test and learn approach.
- Campaigning - Support policy and public affairs, to influence and deliver messaging to local or national agencies to maintain and improve access to the outdoors for all.
- Fundraising - Support fundraising with business development and income generation through developing and responding to opportunities that meet the aims of the Ramblers and achieve income targets.
- Volunteering - Foster a positive and inclusive volunteer experience, promoting alignment with our values and ensuring volunteers have the necessary resources, training, and ongoing support to effectively contribute to our work

Knowledge and Experience
Marketing - multi-channel marketing experience incl website,digital advertising (Meta, Google (PPC, Display), Google grant) & social media
Digital – experience of managing a range of digital channels including developing and managing a complex website set up, working with a CMS, SEO copy development and Google Analytics set up and management. Knowledge of improving user experience and engagement on owned channels
Branding –understanding of the importance of branding to ensure that everything we do across our comms and our activities helps build the brand
Insights – a curious mind that allows you to develop and apply data and audience insights to strengthen performance
Legal - a broad understanding of copyright and data protection laws.
Skills and Leadership
People – able to build good relationships with others and them develop their digital skills.
Systems - experience of using Drupal, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Salesforce, DAM (desirable but not essential)

Purpose of the job
The Finance and Funding Manager has two key functions; financial management, to ensure all financial operations are conducted in line with NDAS policies, charitable governance, and in accordance with HMRC requirements, and fundraising to ensure the financial sustainability of the organisation.
Across both main functions the Finance and Funding Manager will work closely with the CEO and SMT. Also attending Finance Sub-Group meetings that report into the Board.
Responsibilities:
Finance
· Work with the CEO to produce draft budgets with projected income and expenditure for consideration by the Finance Sub-Group and to be reported to the Board
· Work with the CEO to manage the allocation of costs across the budget and to ensure delivery in line with funding requirements.
· Checking all incoming invoices, preparing payments and process day-to-day financial transactions on Sage 50 Accounts
· Conduct monthly bank reconciliations; investigating and correcting discrepancies and reporting to CEO.
· Maintaining and monitoring investment accounts within the Flagstone account as agreed with the CEO and Finance Group.
· Administer payroll (BrightPay) including statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc)
· Administering the workplace pension scheme (auto enrolment) ensuring compliance with pensions legislation
· Assist the organisation’s accountant with the preparation of annual accounts
· Continually reviewing and improving the systems in place.
Finance Group and Board of Trustees
· Produce monthly summary finance report and full management accounts for the Finance Group and the Board.
· Preparation of a bi-monthly finance power point report for the trustees
Fundraising
· Identify new funding streams from Trusts, Statutory agencies and corporates, and submit funding bids.
· With the CEO produce and maintain an Income Generation Plan with a timeline setting deadlines for the submission of funding applications
· Work with the SMT to manage and monitor all outcomes associated with each funding stream
· Produce funding applications with informative narrative content and robust data
- Maintain a monitoring schedule and produce reports in line with funder/stakeholder requirements also with informative narrative content and robust data
- Maintain regular communication with funders and potential funders to build strong working relationships and increase funding opportunities
· Support the CEO in developing strategic and operational plans for the organisation
· Assist the CEO and Trustees in developing the Business Plan and keep it updated.

About the role
We are seeking a technically capable, qualified accountant with strong knowledge of the Charities SORP to provide effective stewardship and oversight of the Finance function at Kinship. You will be responsible for financial controls, management accounting and ensuring the effective delivery of ‘business as usual’ financial management.
As well as producing monthly management accounts, you will be responsible for running the annual budget and the year-end processes, preparing for the yearly external audit and ensuring that the organisation complies with statutory obligations.
You will prepare papers for and attend the quarterly Finance Committee meetings and will liaise with a range of stakeholders including auditors, the bank and investment managers. You will be the ‘go to’ business partner at the charity, supported by the Chief Operating Officer and Fractional Chief Financial Officer.
You will manage a team of two colleagues – a Senior Finance Officer and a Payroll Manager – providing them with guidance, coaching and support to enable them to perform effectively. You will also collaborate and work with Directors and senior managers across the organisation to inform them on performance against budget and conditions of funding, as well as supporting fundraising and commissioning bids.
You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to organise conflicting priorities around the monthly management accounts cycle, while supporting the achievement of our strategic objectives. You will be flexible and adaptable in your approach to supporting transformational change in our processes and systems, as well as dealing with, and leading on, the day-to-day financial management.
This is a broad and challenging role for a dynamic and systems-driven individual who wants to grow within the organisation, proactively problem solve and help colleagues to deliver on our mission.
Essential requirements include:
- Fully qualified ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles, standards and the Charities SORP, and experience of applying these in a service delivery organisation
- Experience managing a Finance function in a charity with £1-10m annual turnover
- Experience of line management and developing a team using approaches that are empowering
- Experience of Business Central, or the ability to quickly learn a new accounting system
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to use Pivot Tables and other functions to analyse large data sets

Role Overview
The role is responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support across the organisation, covering recruitment, onboarding, training, and support for performance management and employee relations. About the role
As Digital Platform Executive you will:

Drive user acquisition and retention strategies for our App (sidekick by Suicide&Co).

Collaborate with developers to implement new features based on user feedback and engagement metrics.

Monitor performance and user analytics to inform continuous improvement.

Develop and manage in-app communication strategies, including push notifications and updates, to enhance user engagement.

Coordinate with content creators to ensure timely and relevant messaging within the App.

Oversee the in-app customer support system, ensuring prompt and effective responses to user inquiries and issues.

Implement feedback mechanisms to gather user insights and improve App functionality.

Develop and implement strategies to optimise the use of our CRM system (HubSpot) for client, donor and stakeholder engagement.

Ensure data integrity and security and provide training to staff on CRM functionalities on new processes or underutilised tools.

Analyse CRM data to inform improvements to client experience and improve donor stewardship.

Maintain and update our website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with branding guidelines.

Optimise website performance, user experience, and accessibility across devices.

Implement SEO best practices to increase organic traffic and visibility.

Launch and manage our Google Ads Grant account, creating and optimising campaigns to maximize reach and impact.

Monitor ad performance, adjust strategies as needed, and ensure compliance with Google's grant policies.
About you
Based within easy commuting distance of our office in Westminster, our ideal candidate would have a proven track record of managing a variety of different digital platforms.
