We are currently seeking two permanent IPS Employment Specialists to work as part of the Community Mental Health Teams. You will deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach (for which training will be given), working in line with the 25-points fidelity scale.

Overview
At Operation Smile UK, we work with global colleagues to improve the lives of those living with cleft conditions around the world – by providing surgery and comprehensive care services to patients and strengthening health care systems in the countries where we work. Operation Smile UK’s Partnerships Team works to maximise high-potential income channels such as corporate partnerships, major donors and trusts and foundations. The Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer will play a key role in the team securing critical income from global and national corporate partners and from our network of committed community fundraisers.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate Fundraising
· Take the lead on managing a portfolio of small and medium corporate partners - taking responsibility for all aspects of these partnerships, including communication, staff activities, events, reporting, income collection and acknowledgements
· Provide support to the Senior P&P Manager in activities relating to OSUK’s global corporate partners through managing employee-led activities across the portfolio.
· To manage and develop new initiatives for employee engagement and community participants
· Support on new business acquisition, specifically in creating new avenues for income generation through existing partnerships.
· Responsible for managing inbound enquiries relating to corporate partnerships
· Lead on producing corporate-related social media and communications content
· Maintain orderly upkeep of all relevant records and databases
Community Fundraising
· Lead on the handling of all inbound community fundraising correspondence, including donations received, merchandise and speaking requests
· Develop a strong understanding of fundraising platforms such as Just Giving and Enthuse, maintaining their upkeep and reconciliation with Operation Smile's financial and reporting systems
Additional Responsibilities
· Expand your understanding of Operation Smile’s programmatic work globally, of cleft lip and palate conditions, health system strengthening and the global surgery sector
· Support other areas of the Partnership Team’s work, including events.

About the role
You will be the first point of contact for the organisation, supporters, potential supporters and people seeking information about Shelter’s work. About you
With excellent communication and administration skills, gained working in a customer service environment, including handling complaints, you will have experience of reviewing, updating and relaying information from various databases. Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, email and the internet and a strong attention to detail and accuracy are also required. An understanding of how the Helpdesk service impacts on the Shelter brand will also be important as well as having resilience dealing with enquiries that may be difficult in nature.

What the job involves
The Policy and Health Influencing team is responsible for using clinical data and evidence to shape what the organisation thinks and to develop solutions that drive change for men with and at risk of prostate cancer. This means working with clinicians, patients and stakeholders to interpret the latest changes in prostate cancer research, care, support and treatment which will help shape our strategic direction and activities.
As the Policy and Health Influencing Coordinator, you're key to supporting the policy and health influencing team, and teams across the Health Services, Equity and Improvement Directorate when needed. You'll have a varied and far-reaching portfolio of work for example, at times arranging important stakeholder events and meetings and ensuring we're hearing from people who've been through prostate cancer themselves. You'll also help share our work on social media and capture the outcomes of our external engagement.
In this role you’ll assist us in keeping track of and evaluating our progress in line with our organisational strategy, as well as keeping an eye on trends in the wider cancer and health landscape and reporting on them. Plus, you'll handle budget matters and make sure we have effective budget monitoring mechanisms in place.
What we want from you
We’re looking for a Coordinator who is highly organised, an effective communicator who knows how to adapt and effectively prioritise your time. You’ll have excellent coordination skills and can organise others too (especially teams which are based across the UK) and have experience of creating and updating forward planners, project schedules and streamlining team processes. You’ll be able to comfortably engage with senior managers and a breadth of external senior level stakeholders. Regularly taking the initiative to drive improvements so that the teams you support can operate efficiently.
With skills in collecting and utilising data to monitor, trend, and report on activity, you're proactive in acting on the results. Elders Voice is a charity supporting older people in the London Borough of Brent. Network Support
Act as the main liaison for Association networks (e.g., Links and mentors networks), providing administrative support, and sending out communication to them.
Work with network leads and membership management to ensure accurate sharing of updates, best practice, and resources across the network, via e-shots or other communication channels. Assist in organising network meetings and events.
Support strategies on how to grow networks, liaising with relevant team members and clinicians on these. Monitor activity across the network to help identify opportunities for collaboration, improvement, or celebration.

The EMHIP (Ethnicity and Mental Health Improvement Programme) Mobile Hub Support Worker has been co-designed with individuals with lived experience of mental health care to provide direct, person-centred support to individuals in their local communities.
The Croydon BME Forum and Asian Resource Centre Croydon, in partnership with South West London Integrated Care System (SWL ICS) and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) are working together to address the ethnic inequalities in health and social care through the Ethnicity and Mental Health Improvement Programme (EMHIP). One of the key interventions of EMHIP is the implementation of the Mental Health & Wellbeing Mobile Hub. This is a mobile, all age, whole family hub service, delivered within both faiths based and community-based organisations.
The Mental Health & Wellbeing Mobile Hub team will be a dedicated team of experienced, culturally aware support workers and clinical staff embedded in the community to provide services to all local residents, but with a specific focus on BAME communities. This team will be based in different locations across the borough, working within BAME communities, alongside faith groups and existing wellbeing hubs in Croydon.
Job Summary
The Mobile Hub Team Support Worker is a skilled, knowledgeable, and empathetic person, who enjoys working with people, taking a person-centred approach. They must be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in an active setting, with people and professionals across the health and social care system. What will my main duties be?
Programme Management
- To oversee the IntoUniversity Boarding School Bursary Programme including recruitment of potential students and ongoing support of current boarders.

- To create a calendar of out-of-boarding events and support for students and families to connect to their local centre, including centre visits and community hubs.

Lepra is dedicated to addressing leprosy and lymphatic filariasis (LF) and their consequences through direct support, advocacy, and the promotion of inclusive communities. We work in Bangladesh and in India, through our sister organisation, LEPRA Society. We work in partnership with people affected by leprosy and LF to improve detection, ensure access to treatment and care, and promote inclusion and wellbeing. Last year we finalised our new Global Strategy for 2024-30, which will guide us in our efforts to accelerate progress towards global targets for leprosy and LF, and towards our vision of a world free from leprosy and LF.
Job Context
Our Global Strategy marks a significant evolution in our organisational direction, introducing innovative approaches and renewed priorities. This includes our first-ever global Theory of Change (ToC), our most comprehensive Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) framework to date, a Research and Innovation strategy, and a dedicated Advocacy sub-strategy to guide our influencing efforts.
With the Lepra Advocacy Strategy, we will be working over the next 6 years to strengthen our approaches to our advocacy efforts. The post holder will play a key role in supporting the roll out of the Advocacy strategy working closely with the Director of Programmes and Advocacy, the Head of Research, the Senior Programme Manager, the Programme Officer and the teams where we work.

Key responsibilities
Advocacy Delivery (50%)
Under the supervision of the DPA implement Lepra’s global Advocacy strategy and coordinate advocacy initiatives.
Serve as the driver of advocacy efforts, facilitating the transitional year of implementation including coordinating the Advocacy Steering Group; advocacy toolkit development; action planning.
Represent Lepra in specific fora and advocacy networks and within the broader leprosy and NTD community in close coordination with the DPA.
Produce quarterly advocacy newsletters
Maintain quarterly reports on flagging areas of concern and actioning steering committee advice.
Assist in the preparation of policy documents and the presentation of papers for publication, conferences, or specific institutions and/or individuals - identifying and targeting the most appropriate audiences.

Assist the programmes team, DPO, Chief Executive and Country Programme staff in the synthesis of complex technical/scientific information adapting it to language and formats easily used by target audiences.
Contribute to content development of community engagement materials (public information, brochures, leaflets) that help explain the operations and impact of Lepra’s work to LF and/or leprosy affected communities.
Maintain good working links with Lepra’s UK Fundraising and Communications Team, contributing towards UK facing communications materials as and when required.
Prepare updates, papers, and reports for trustee meetings, funding partners, and wherever else applicable.
External representation (10%)
Support the Chief Executive, DPA and programmes team to maintain and expand existing strategic relationships with key international stakeholders to further Lepra’s advocacy strategy and advance Lepra’s agenda.

Dravet Syndrome UK (DSUK) is a small independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that affects around one in every 15,000 people in the UK.
