Join us at Single Homeless Project (SHP) as part of our Lewisham Vulnerable Adults Accommodation Service (LVAAS), delivering accommodation-based support across our properties in Brockley and New Cross. This is hands-on, day-to-day work alongside people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage, where no two days are the same. You’ll build real relationships with clients, supporting them to stabilise, develop life skills and move towards greater independence, while navigating the challenges that can come with housing, health and wider support needs.
As a Project Worker, you’ll be at the centre of the service; working closely with colleagues and partner agencies to coordinate support that genuinely moves people forward. Alongside your client work, you’ll play a key role in keeping the service running safely and smoothly, from maintaining a secure, welcoming environment to staying on top of health and fire safety standards across the properties.

As a Waking Nights Recovery Worker, you will provide person-centred support to adults with complex mental health needs during overnight hours, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and recovery. You will monitor the security of the building, conduct health and safety checks, respond to crises, support individuals through mental health relapses, and work collaboratively to develop and review support, safety, and risk management plans. The role also includes housing management duties, record keeping, and promoting positive outcomes that enable service users to live more independently.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Night Engagement Worker to join the team in Catford. You will support within the Offender Personality Disorder Housing Accommodation to support in successfully rehabilitating and reintegrating our residents and participants back into the community. The service delivers support for people in the criminal justice system who are deemed high risk, and likely to meet criteria for personality disorder. Penrose OPD HASS service offers specialist accommodation to people with high risk/high needs and require intensive support to overcome barriers to resettlement and progress towards independent living in the community.
You will assist with those who have recently been released from prison, secure health settings, or are transitioning from Approved Premises. Your role will involve supporting all aspects of key engagement activities, aiding their rehabilitation, reablement, and reintegration into society by providing pathways, support, and appropriate interventions, that will enable successful resettlements and work with internal and external partners and agencies to achieve desired outcomes.

The Resettlement Team operate as a core team within The Passage Resource Centre, conducting initial triage assessments with new service users, supporting with the day to day running of the centre and reception area, and carrying a caseload of service users working towards agreed housing goals and objectives. We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our team at Eastbourne Foyer, with the expectation of working from our other sites in Hailsham when required. You will hold a caseload of residents and carry out regular key work sessions with them each week. Through these sessions, you will work together to develop personalised support plans, track progress, and help residents achieve their goals.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role is responsible for the service delivery of an effective, high quality, person centred support service to residents with a background of rough sleeping and range of medium to high needs. These includes entrenched drug and/or alcohol issues, mental health diagnosis and a range of offending backgrounds.
They will be the principal providers of support to residents in the Harbour Project team and will also work alongside Assistant Support Workers, to promote resident engagement through the development of positive relationships with our residents and contributing towards the promotion of a fulfilling, safe and inclusive environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
To be responsible to the Team Manager for the day-to-day delivery of the Harbour Project Team.
Use motivational and asset based interviewing techniques to interview, assess and create support plans and risk assessments that address the needs of residents.
Take a positive, trauma-informed approach to working with residents with complex needs and challenging behaviour.
Conduct regular reviews of support plans and risk assessments as required.
Take a pro-active approach in multi-disciplinary support required for residents.
Work within a Psychologically Informed Environment approach and strive to meet targets and deliver results.
Ensure a high standard of customer service is upheld
To attend team meetings and take part in service policy and planning.
To participate in team meetings, team review days and other meetings as agreed with the Team Manager.
To keep abreast of current housing legislation, welfare benefit legislations and other matters relevant to successful support and move on of residents.
To respond and process all referrals made to the Complex Needs service and ensure those accessing the service meet the service eligibility criteria.
To ensure all case work is properly recorded and all service offers and outcomes are entered clearly onto the case management system.
