The Network Development Manager (Clubs & Compliance) shall lead on the support and management of this dynamic and evolving membership base through the enhancement of the Special Olympics GB delivery model to achieve our purpose of unlocking more opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. This person will report directly to the Head of Network and work closely alongside other members of the team and key stakeholders, with a specific focus on our Accredited Club and Programme compliance and development and overarching responsibility of maintaining our membership delivery model mechanics and key processes. Blue Marine Foundation is seeking a Programme Manager who will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Convex Seascape Survey and lead relations with the project’s funder. This role may suit someone from a corporate or account management background, preferably local to London or the southeast and willing to travel internationally as needed. The Convex Seascape Survey is two years into a five-year, multi-million-pound pioneering research project working to quantify and understand blue carbon stored in the coastal ocean floor and its potential to help mitigate climate change. Convex Seascape Survey is a partnership between Blue Marine Foundation, Convex Insurance Limited and the University of Exeter, delivered in partnership with a consortium of over sixteen other organisations.
Project management
· Lead the project management process, matched to the project grant agreement, including oversight of project finance and all deliverables.
· Coordination of project partners to ensure activities and deliverables are achieved in keeping with quarterly milestones.
· Relationship management with project partners, serving as a main point of contact and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with the project’s progress and outcomes.
· Responsible for organising and feeding into Steering Committee meetings, as well as contributing as required to Advisory Group meetings.
· Managing supplier relationships, overseeing contracts and work package delivery.
· Representing the project at relevant conferences and forums or visiting fieldwork sites. International travel will be required at times.
Reporting
· Report progress into the steering committee on a quarterly basis, flagging areas of concern and actioning steering committee advice.

· Coordinating finance reports for the funder and partners.
Communications
· Present the Project at public conferences and various stakeholder events
· Supporting the communications lead in delivery of project outreach through press, digital and social media
· Contribute interviews or quotes for press on project developments.
· Assisting the development and delivery of a bespoke, project-linked education programme
The successful applicant will be highly organised, with a rigorous approach to project management. Desired experience includes:
· Successful delivery of multi-million pound, multi-year research programmes or other projects
· Track record of high-impact project management, accurate reporting and successful project delivery
· Competent and confident public-speaker with the ability to communicate complex subjects to a range of audiences which could include corporate, political and public audiences
· High level of numeracy with the ability to track multiple budgets over time
· Excellent communicator with a diplomatic approach to management

· Aptitude and ability to work under pressure

What will you be doing?
This is a key role within our dedicated communications team and will focus on leveraging and shaping Plantlife’s activity and presence in the media, alongside a job share colleague. This role will support our campaigning activity in the UK and internationally and will be one of Plantlife key external voices, playing a pivotal role in shaping our key messages. About IKWRO
IKWRO –Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) is an award-winning charity founded (as the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation) in 2002. IKWRO is a registered charity which provides advice and support to Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women and girls living in the UK, who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse, including; forced marriage, child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), or domestic abuse.
We work with women and girls of all ages, including lesbian women, bisexual women and trans women. We offer services in Kurdish, Farsi, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Turkish and English. IKWRO offers free advice, advocacy and counselling services and operates a refuge which provides safe accommodation and specialist support to single women at risk of “honour” based abuse, forced marriage and domestic abuse.
IKWRO also provides training for women and girls to help them understand their rights in the UK. In partnership with other organisations, we assist survivors of abuse with accessing English language classes and education, training and employment opportunities.
As well as supporting women and girls directly, we offer advice and training for professionals from the statutory and voluntary sectors, to better understand the needs of the women and girls we represent, the types of abuse they experience and to provide best practice prevention and support services.
We campaign to increase awareness and improve laws and policies to tackle all forms of “honour” based abuse and harmful practices including; forced marriage, child marriage, marital captivity, female genital mutilation, virginity testing and hymenoplasty, discrimination by sharia courts and to push for better laws and policies to protect women’s and girl’s rights.
The post-holder will be required to work in a confidential setting and provide non directive support to improve mental health and social functioning of women who are experiencing different forms of gender based violence. The post-holder will be professionally trained, accredited and work within the BACP/BPS Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions (2018) or equivalent.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
·Provide a service in line with BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) guidelines or equivalent.
·To support the management team with the strategic development of IKWRO’s counselling services.
·The provision of effective and high-quality Counselling and Psychotherapy services to IKWRO’s clients through making use of up to date service standards and IKWRO’s Counselling Guidelines.
·To agree a counselling contract with IKWRO’s clients and provide a timely, responsive and appropriate service.
·Carrying out a small one to one clinical caseload and/or depending on the team’s clinical capacity.
·To manage waiting lists according to the level of risk, delivery plans and organisational priorities.
·To manage the delivery against targets and in accordance with contract requirements.
·To lead, line manage and develop the counselling services staff as required.
·To do the clinical supervision of Associate Counsellors and trainees.
·Helping clients work towards a deeper understanding of their concerns;
·Maintain clients’ records ensuring accordance with IKWRO’s policies particularly as they relate to confidentiality and data protection.
·Making appropriate referrals and signposting to other services if needed;
·Attending clinical individual supervision, managerial supervision and training courses;
·Liaising, as necessary, with other agencies and individuals to help make changes based on the issues raised by clients;

About you
We are seeking candidates with experience in managing the development, production and delivery of web content and digital products, including e-learning resources, videos, podcasts, and images, for a high traffic and information rich website.
