Job Title:Kent Infant Feeding Project Coordinator

About the role

Join our passionate team and contribute to the meaningful work that transforms the love of parents and families. The Kent Infant Feeding Project Coordinator role is vital in the delivery of community Infant Feeding Peer Support within the region. Offering support to the infant feeding peer supporters and project team, ensuring the service runs efficiently and effectively and leading on the delivery of the post discharge contacts to families within Kent.

Your role will include: 

· Extensively advertise service and recruit volunteering opportunities using a variety of platforms including social media and locally.

· Provide clear guidance and information to potential volunteers on the roles, responsibilities and training requirements. 

· Have a good understanding of each of the regions within the projects the community groups and the hospitals in which our staff and volunteers offer support. 

· Collate and enter all information as and when necessary, into the Kent Infant Feeding database to ensure service users are registered on the system and touch points with the service users are logged. 

· Attend meetings relevant to safeguarding duties to ensure effective and informed practice, responding to and supporting safeguarding concerns. To work on safeguarding cases as and when required.  

About you

· Have a passion for breastfeeding and ensuring every family in Kent has accessible support.

· Working with families from diverse backgrounds.

· Good interpersonal skills with the ability to create rapport with a range of people.

· Experience of data collection and performing accurate data entry

· Have knowledge of the local perinatal services and communities within the Kent area.

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our friendly office team to support the charity in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth running of financial and administrative processes in the charity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including bank reconciliations, invoicing, expense processing; ensuring the accounts software is accurate and current.

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker on a full-time basis (35 hours per week), funded by Kentown Support as part of a developing programme delivering high quality wrap-around care and high-quality family support service as part of our Greater Manchester Care Team.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the Greater Manchester Care Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness.

Having worked in a demanding and emotional environment you have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

You’re a multimedia designer who thrives on creative challenges, bringing ideas to life through video, photography, animation and motion graphics. • Lead the creation of engaging video, photo and motion content, from concept development through to final delivery, including scripting, storyboarding, filming and editing.
• Oversee photography across The Charity – identifying gaps in our photography, building and developing our image library through regular photoshoots and ensuring that consent processes follow our data management policy.
• Manage, plan, organise and coordinate on-location and studio filming and photoshoots, ensuring shoots run smoothly and meet creative briefs.

About You

You’re a confident, compassionate professional who thrives on collaboration and innovation. You’ll bring:

• A Doctorate in Educational Psychology and HCPC registration.
• Significant post-qualification experience supporting children and young people in educational settings.
• Expertise working with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and mental health challenges.

The structure of the team is set up to support the ongoing progression and growth of its members along the key verticals of Press, Website, Design and Outbound. We are looking for someone to support our Outbound communications (video production and development, supporter engagement, and design), as well as offering support across the verticals. The incoming Communications Officer should feel confident with engaging and supporting people to appear on video.

The successful applicant will have experience of these functions and will need to be a quick learner. They will have a can-do attitude with solid technical know-how and be reliable. Attention to detail is critical, alongside flexibility to evolving demands.

A confident communicator, they will be a self-starter with excellent prioritisation and time management and enjoy working in a highly collaborative setting. Key responsibilities and duties

The role will be diverse and varied. No two days nor two emails are the same! Key responsibilities will include:

· Engaging audiences through compelling content across communications channels, including our website, video, social media.

· Researching, writing and supplying communications materials in response to briefs from the department Head.

· Working with project Leads to promote outcomes, findings and impact across our various channels.

· Supporting Gypsy, Roma or Traveller people to cut through digital noise, via public-focused opportunities such as guest blogs or video.

· Working to maximise the impact of our communications strategies, and operational plans.

· Maintaining and updating digital content from evergreen pages to news items, as and when appropriate.

· Developing and producing short-form video content, along with other Adobe-based outputs.

· Other such duties as are reasonably appropriate to the job.

Job Title: Support Mentor

Location: Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), the service is a short walk from Ladbroke Grove (Circle and Hammersmith) station. Unfortunately, this service does not have step free access.

Salary: £27,000 (Full Time equivalent) 

Shift Pattern: Part Time 15 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota between 09:00 - 17:00 and 13:00 - 21:00. You may be required to work bank holidays and evenings as required. 

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Mentor to join our team based in RBKC to support our residents who have multiple and complex needs which could include mental health, substance use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You will support in providing our residents with the support needed to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals in a person centred approach. You will work within a residential setting, creating a safe and comfortable space which our residents can call their homes during their time within the service. The role includes:

• Supporting residents with daily tasks
• Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to their needs
• Carry out regular welfare checks, safeguarding checks, and general living checks
• Encourage residents to take part in activities and events
• Keep support plans up to date on a regular basis
• Work closely with the rest of the team to provide overall excellent service delivery, this may mean also supporting with their caseloads, and other tasks as necessary
• Carry out general housing management support

About You

We're looking for someone who has a true passion to support those who have multiple and complex needs, with a drive to help support those who suffer with homelessness, mental health, and substance use. You will be able to build rapport and trusting relations in a professional setting, and able to build positive outcomes. You will have an adaptable and flexible approach to helping others, with an understanding that each individual has different levels and types of support needs. Further we look for:

• Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds and/or a good understanding of the sector, particularly around multiple and complex needs
• Ability to show empathy and compassion to our residents, and different challenges they face
• Ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs
• Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents
• Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision, with an ability to liaise and work effectively in partnership with stakeholders
• Understanding of the different needs people with multiple and complex needs have and be aware of the social marginalisation that can be attached to people who face personal challenges

Funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, the Family Linx Service has been co-produced with parents, carers, and autistic children and young people. Now in its seventh year, the service provides vital support to families with autistic children aged up to 12—both before and after diagnosis. 

At Priory Family Centre, we work in partnership with families to build on their strengths, helping them achieve their goals through whole-family support, confidence-building, and developing coping strategies and resilience. Join us and make a real difference in the lives of families with autistic children. 

Role Details 

• Hours: 22.2 hours per week over 3 days (days negotiable) 
• Location: Priory Family Centre, Barnsley

• Work collaboratively with families and professionals
