We’re looking for an experienced and creative Head of Individual Giving to lead and grow our individual giving programme.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you’ll shape and deliver our individual giving strategy, overseeing the recruitment, retention and development of individual supporters. You’ll lead on our major appeals, including an annual national campaign to Catholic parishes across the UK.
You’ll also play a key role in developing new fundraising products, optimising donor journeys, and ensuring our CRM and data systems support excellent stewardship and insight-driven decision making. This is a senior position with significant scope to shape the programme and make your mark.

Summary of the role:

Talking Money is looking for someone with a deep understanding of charity finance who can provide robust financial management for the charity. You will manage all Talking Money finances, from banking, invoicing, and payments to end-of-year reporting and funding management. You will also have a strategic overview of our organisational finances, and work closely with our Chief Executive and Board of Trustees on Talking Money’s financial planning.

Hours: 15 hours a week (0.4 FTE). The postholder may be required to work additional hours at certain key points in the accounting year cycle to complete end-of-year statutory accounts preparation and occasionally attend meetings out of office hours.
Contract term: Permanent
Location: Hybrid working negotiable but some time in office is required to keep in touch with the team - team sessions are currently Thursdays.
Salary: Grade 6 SCP 25-28 (approx. £36,000 - £39,000 for FY26-27)
Reporting to: Chief Executive
Holiday entitlement: 25 days FTE pro rata (rising to 30 days after 5 years) + bank holidays.

As Director of Income Generation & Business Development you will set the strategic direction for all income related activity across the charity, ensuring LWA develops a sustainable, diversified income portfolio that is aligned with the charity’s purpose and values. - Strategically lead a multi-year income generation and business development strategy, setting key objectives and enabling diversification that aligns with LWA’s values and new organisational strategy.
- Provide strategic leadership for marketing and communications, ensuring organisational-wide narrative building that reflects the values and impact of LWA, while championing the voices of women and children.
- Ensure strategic leadership for LWA’s retail function, developing growth strategies that balance community impact alongside financial performance.

The role would best suit:
- A senior income generation leader, with broad multi-stream experience and a proven track record of strategically driving growth and diversification of fundraised income.
