An experienced corporate fundraiser or business to business sales professional, you will have generated income from partnerships before in similar roles. You will be target focused and able to use a wide range of corporate and commercial products to secure, retain, develop and grow long term income generating partnerships. You will be ever-curious, always seeking to improve your skills and adopt new approaches.
Experience required
You’ll have previous experience of:

working in fundraising or experience of working in an income generating position in a client facing role

developing relationships with key clients and individuals

managing multiple client accounts in a commercial and/or charity setting and maximising income from these through proactive stewardship

researching and developing new business opportunities

the development and delivery of compelling proposals, presentations and pitches

The Diocese of Carlisle is looking for a Programme Manager (Maternity Cover) who will:
- Be the Programme Manager for The Cumbrian Way programme including:
o Working closely with the Programme Director to ensure all aspects of programme management are undertaken
o Accountability for the adherence to the Programme Management Office’s programme management systems to assess and ensure budget, risks, issues, progress and impact are reported and escalated in a timely and appropriate manner
o Coordinating the project managers across the programme
o Oversee the management of the Projects and Programme Board and annual reporting
o Have oversight of all aspects of the programme in order to make connections and insights into the work as it progresses.
o Reporting on agreed outcomes by collecting, collating and presenting information as part of programme reporting and monitoring & evaluation
o Support the Programme Director as a point of contact for the national team and in quarterly reporting to the Projects and Programmes Board and other governance group updates
- Support the Church Planting Consultant with project management of the Church Plant workstream, including:
o maintaining & updating project plans/timelines
o monitoring, reporting and reviewing the effectiveness of the project work
o accounting for risk mitigation and issue resolution
o advising and collaborating on project communications
o reporting on agreed outcomes and impact by collecting, collating and presenting information as part of project/programme reporting and monitoring & evaluation
o meeting with the church plant consultant on a regular (at least monthly) basis.
o actively managing the project budget
o supporting local church planting teams with budget claims and outcome reporting
- Oversee the programme management of all areas of the Reaching Deeper SDF funded programme
- Be principal point of contact and manage the relationship with the diocesan research partner, including managing payment drawn downs, agreed pieces of work/briefs and outputs to be delivered.
- Lead and oversee the data collection and impact for diocesan Parish Returns data collection
- Line manage the God for All Programme Management Office team

About the Role
As Regional Lead Organiser, you will take on a strategic leadership role, shaping and driving the organising agenda across the Asia Pacific region. You will support the Regional Secretary and global organising teams by coordinating complex projects, developing long-term organising strategies, and building affiliate capacity.
You will mentor and guide Regional Organisers, support cross-country cooperation, and help develop effective campaign structures within affiliates. You will work directly with unions, workers and stakeholders across the region, providing expert advice, delivering training and helping build sustainable organising programmes.
The role involves strategic planning, field-level engagement, research, curriculum development and communication with a broad range of partners. It is central to advancing the ITF’s organising mission.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading regional organising projects aligned with ITF strategies.
- Leading on membership expansion across the regions
- Mentoring and guiding Regional Organisers.
- Supporting affiliates in strategy development and campaign planning.
- Coordinating regional organising workplans.
- Engaging with companies and regulators to support campaign goals.
- Designing and delivering training for union leaders.
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on progress.
- Supporting cross-border organising activities.

You communicate confidently with workers, union leaders, companies and government bodies, and you have a strong ability to bring people together around shared goals.
