A core position within the National Year of Reading Team, this is such an exciting role for someone whose skills include creativity, strategic planning and delivery, as well as high level relationship management ability.
Within your role you will build and deliver a range of public facing partnerships designed to bring the National Year of Reading to life within key audiences across the UK, driving both awareness and behaviour change. You will build on the existing foundations of the campaign plan to conceive and deliver a series of partnerships - with media owners, brands and others - which have a focus on public-facing activations designed to make the National Year of Reading memorable and impactful, and to and ensure it resonates across society.
National Year of Reading, Brand and Media Partnerships Lead
Contract: one year fixed term contract from early 2026
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid role between home and London office, where you will be able to work regularly from home around the requirements of your role for in person meetings or travel. You will have significant contact with stakeholders which will require you to be in London regularly. This is likely to be at least weekly.

Core responsibilities within the position will include:
* Working with creative and media agencies, as well as with internal teams to lead on the development and delivery of high impact cultural moments and events
* Secure media and platform support including creator led campaigns and inventory to reach general and target audiences
* Effectively manage high profile partner relationships throughout the year, from inception through delivery and post partnership evaluation
* Work with the fundraising team as well as other internal teams to source, vet and secure new partnerships, including developing partner proposal, decks and reports
* Work with the National Year of Reading team, as well as with key stakeholders across the organisation, to establish a clear framework within which campaign partnerships can operate
* Ensure the partnership strategy is aligned to the goals of the National Year of Reading, prioritising sectors that deliver the most value for the campaign

As our Lead Learning & Development Specialist you’ll support BHF in the successful delivery of this organisational wide Enterprise Foundations programme.
You’ll lead, design, manage and evaluate engaging learning experiences that will enable colleagues to enhance their skills. Helping colleagues to adopt changes to key systems and processes within BHF, as well as ways of working and culture, you’ll stay ahead of the curve and will, ultimately, help BHF to achieve our transformation goals.

About you
Experienced in designing and delivering complex learning programmes for both technical skills (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, Power BI) and behavioural skills (e.g. communication), you’ll have previously experience managing complex learning programmes with multiple audiences, workstreams and stages, as well as experience in developing online learning resources and delivering virtual learning experiences.
You’ll be an all-round L&D Specialist but who has experience with technical training and can understand/pick up new tech quickly, able to work directly with subject matter experts and not get overwhelmed by the jargon.

- Place AI tools at the centre of routine content generation for applications and reports.

Play a key role in the development and execution of Mission 44’s new Motorsports strategy, to create access opportunities for young people from underrepresented backgrounds within STEM sectors, particularly motorsports.

Build trusted relationships with key motorsport employers and stakeholders, including F1, F1 teams, FIA, and relevant STEM employers, to drive sector-wide change, focusing on increasing demand for underrepresented talent, adoption of inclusive recruitment practices, and awareness of Mission 44’s work and impact.

Apply and continually improve the convening strategy and toolkits to Mission 44’s STEM work, helping determine when and how convening can most effectively support our goal of inspiring and supporting young people (aged 14–30) in the UK and US to access careers in STEM and motorsport.

Under the supervision of the European Regional Director, the Director of External Partnerships will oversee IFAW’s strategic partnerships development geared towards advancing IFAW’s efforts to protect and save the lives of animals.
He/she will strengthen IFAW’s profile in the United Kingdom by:

Job Purpose
Within the National Influencing & Networks team, the Digital Communications Officer is responsible for delivering core communications functions. The postholder will work directly with the Director of National Influencing and Networks to plan communications activity in line with organisational objectives, and to deliver planned, regular and ad-hoc outputs. They will also work closely with the Area Engagement and Partnerships Team. It is desirable for the postholder to bring innovative video editing and production expertise, along with strong digital content creation skills, to enhance Clinks’ communications reach and impact.
Duties and key responsibilities
· Contribute to the continued development of communications outputs of relevance to the voluntary sector working in criminal justice
· Deliver Clinks’ communications functions to ensure our work and the voluntary sector is promoted in an accurate and timely manner.
· Contribute to Clinks’ communications outputs through oversight of the organisational communications planner, supporting the development of timelines and executing as appropriate
· Responsible for publication and design of organisational policy reports, e-bulletins, newsletters, blog posts, ad-hoc publications and other relevant digital outputs
· Responsible for the collation and distribution of Clinks’ Light Lunch on a weekly basis as well as newsflashes, women’s network updates and art alliance updates

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team. you will empower and motivate both our male and female residents and participants to achieve their personal goals and gain greater independence, supporting their reintegration into the community. You will provide tailored, person-centred support using a recovery model, ensuring our services are flexible and responsive to individual needs while meeting the expectations of our commissioners and stakeholders.
Your focus is on successful community reintegration and a sustained quality of life, guided by a recovery model that enables clients to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities through interactive and preventative approaches. We provide intensive accommodation-based support (six flats) and floating support (dispersed flats) designed to address the complex and challenging needs of our residents and participants.

- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times
- Focusing on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals
- Planning activities to engage residents with other people, communities, and opportunities
- Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins
- Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for night colleagues for a seamless service
About You

As part of our annual leave policy, all employees receive three additional days of annual leave on top of their standard allocation of 25 days. These days are designated to cover the period when our UK office closes between Christmas and New Year, allowing all UK WaterAiders to take a well-deserved break.
These days are automatically scheduled and cannot be changed or moved. Annual leave is accrued based on your start date. If sufficient leave has not been accrued by the time of the closure, the 3 days will be taken as unpaid leave or pro-rated, depending on your circumstances.

Job Profile
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead on the recruitment, retention, and value growth of Afghanaid’s supporter base by directing and implementing communications, fundraising and engagement strategies, aligned with broader organisation goals. Designing and managing a tight budget, you will direct the Communication and Giving unit to maximise their success.
You will provide strategic and supervisory oversight of fundraising income from individual giving, regular giving, major donors, trusts and foundations, corporates, community and student fundraising and events, managing annual fundraising appeals and driving organisational unrestricted income growth.
You will lead on communications for Afghanaid, overseeing print, digital, and paid marketing activities and the growth of communications channels. You will execute Afghanaid’s organisational brand strategy which ensures the integrity of the brand and maximises awareness. You will manage all public relations including crisis communications, as well as the growth of strategic media placements and high profile relationships. You will drive the success of organisational impact storytelling and communications for both internal and external stakeholders. As a member of the executive department, you will collaborate and synergise with other departments to promote organisational success.
Key Responsibilities:

PERSON SPECIFICATION
You will be an experienced and dynamic communicator with significant demonstrable experience in fundraising and/or communications at a senior level, coupled with an awareness and up to date knowledge and experience of the tools that would maximise the success of our communications and fundraising activities. In addition, you will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders. Possessing strong management skills, you will have experience of managing small multi-disciplinary teams, providing direction and leadership to enable development and high performance, and the ability to role-model a culture of equality, diversity and inclusion.
Education/ Training
Master’s Degree in communications, marketing, public fundraising or another relevant field (or at least 5-years’ experience).
Work Experience

At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, supporter engagement or communications, with at least 2 years’ experience directly managing staff.

Experience developing and leading integrated multi-channel and multi-stakeholder communications, engagement and/or fundraising strategies.

Experience in growing audiences, engagement and/or income streams.

Experience communicating about and/or fundraising for and/or maintaining engagement with Afghanistan or a similar context.
