You do not need to have previous or formal experience working in the homelessness sector or in a support role. We are seeking people with transferable skills and experience gained from a varied background, who will demonstrate a commitment and passion for the work that we do. You will be ready to learn on the job and we will support you to develop your own learning and practice through a structured programme and teamwork.

We are Chance to Shine: a children’s charity dedicated to harnessing the power of cricket to transform the life prospects of young people in the UK.

It is our mission that all young people have the opportunity to play, learn and develop through cricket. We want them to learn a love of the game and to find a sense of belonging through the sport, developing their wider wellbeing and life skills to help fulfil their potential.

 Key responsibilities  

· Capture high-quality video content at Chance to Shine events, programmes, and community initiatives.

· Produce and edit compelling video content for use across digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.

· Create broadcast-quality assets to support media outreach and press opportunities.

· Develop creative concepts, scripts, and storyboards that align with strategic objectives.

· Conduct on-camera interviews and direct pieces to camera with professionalism and sensitivity to context.

· Organise and maintain a well-structured archive of video content for ongoing and future use.

· Design and produce engaging video graphics, including lower thirds, stings, and motion elements, in line with our brand guidelines.

Experience & Qualifications  

Essential: 

• 1-2 years’ experience of filming and editing at a professional level

• Confident in operating professional camera equipment, including models such as the Sony FX30, or similar DSLR cinema-style cameras.
• Willing to travel throughout the UK, Full clean UK driving licence

Purpose: The Fundraising and Admin Officer is responsible for delivering key administrative and fundraising activities that support the achievement of Vision Action’s income generation targets. The postholder will take a lead role in researching and applying to smaller trusts and foundations, while contributing to the development of larger funding proposals as needed. They will also support the coordination of fundraising campaigns and events, maintain the prospect pipeline, and identify new fundraising opportunities. Working closely with the Fundraising Manager, this role contributes to the effective functioning of the fundraising team and plays an important part in fostering a collaborative, impact-driven organisational culture.

KEY AREAS:

- FUNDRAISING (80% of time)
Trusts & Foundations and Prospect Research

• Lead on the development and submission of applications to smaller trusts and foundations (up to £25,000), including drafting proposals, tracking deadlines, and updating the pipeline.
• Maintain and update the pipeline of prospective donors across income streams (trusts, corporates, government, and institutions).
• Conduct desk research into comparable organisations, donor trends, and partnership opportunities.

Appeals & Campaigns

• Support the coordination of Vision Action’s seasonal and thematic fundraising appeals (e.g. World Sight Day, Christmas, Summer).
• Lead on the planning and delivery of smaller appeals, including supporter follow-up, donor profiling, and managing campaign logistics.
• Log donor information and engagement history accurately in Donorfy CRM.
• Support the development of appeal-related materials in collaboration with the Fundraising Manager and Communications Officer.

Events & Community Fundraising

• Support the planning, recruitment, and delivery of fundraising events such as the London Marathon and other sporting and challenge events.
• Provide guidance and logistical support to individuals, volunteers, schools, and community groups running their own fundraising events.
• Represent Vision Action at relevant fundraising and community events, acting as an ambassador for the organisation.

Donor Stewardship & Relationship Management

• Support the stewardship and cultivation of individual donors, sponsors, and prospects through phone, email, and written communication.
• Assist in developing supporter journeys for regular givers and community fundraisers.
• Process thank you letters and acknowledgements using Donorfy.
• Manage day-to-day donor enquiries via the fundraising inbox and phone line, ensuring timely and professional responses.

Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate donor records and fundraising data using Donorfy CRM.
• Produce donor and campaign performance reports as required.
• Support with administrative tasks related to fundraising compliance, filing, and data security.

- COMMUNICATION SUPPORT (20% of time)
Digital Media Marketing and Engagement

• Support efforts to grow Vision Action’s digital presence by creating engaging content for social media platforms, ensuring consistent and compelling storytelling aligned with our mission.
• Support membership relationship stewardship by developing regular updates, thank-you messages, and creative engagement campaigns to nurture and retain supporters.
• Assist in the design and production of quarterly progress reports, collaborating with colleagues across Vision Action to curate stories, impact data, and visuals that resonate with donors and partners.
• Update and maintain website content to ensure it remains current, accurate, and reflective of organisational priorities, campaigns, and news.
• Attend relevant internal and external events or meetings to capture content, live-post updates, and strengthen Vision Action’s online visibility and supporter engagement.

Administrative Support and Organisational Culture

• Provide targeted administrative support to the Fundraising & Communications team, including managing the Fundraising inbox, logging and responding to supporter enquiries, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Help maintain well-organised digital filing systems (e.g. SharePoint) for communications assets, membership materials, and donor stewardship documents.
• Support cross-departmental initiatives by contributing communications materials and ensuring alignment of messaging across teams.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

This is a varied and forward-facing role within a small and busy team. • At least 3 years of experience in a fundraising, administration, or supporter-facing role
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills (face-to-face, phone, and email)
• Excellent organisational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Confident written skills, with experience drafting letters, emails, or fundraising materials
• Strong IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office and confidence working across digital platforms

Main duties

Fundraising CRM Project Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end project to replace the current CRM system, including an audit of existing data, research into CRM options, supplier selection and full onboarding and implementation.
• Manage and maintain the current Salesforce system during the review period, ensuring it remains functional, accurate, and fit for purpose while supporting the transition process.
• Act as the day-to-day lead for the CRM system within the Fundraising and Communications team, ensuring it meets team needs and supports strategic goals.

CRM and Data Management

• Maintain and improve the quality of supporter data through regular cleansing, deduplication, and tagging to ensure accuracy and GDPR compliance.
• Working with data flows and setting up integrations, ensuring the system runs smoothly on an ongoing basis, making updates, troubleshooting issues whilst maintaining data consistency.
• Work with the Finance team to support integration between the CRM and finance systems for seamless donation and income reporting.

Data Selections, Segmentation and Campaign Support

• Collaborate with the Fundraising team to perform targeted data selections for appeals, newsletters, stewardship journeys, and events.
• Develop and maintain segmentation structures and logic to support personalised supporter journeys and strategic targeting.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to provide campaign-ready data for fundraising, advocacy, and engagement activities.

Reporting and Insight

The Role 
Working within our International Partnerships, Programmes and Research (IPPR) team, you will develop, accompany, and coordinate locally-led peacebuilding projects, partnerships and networks, primarily in conflict-affected countries in the Great Lakes and Central Africa regions of Africa. You will also support the coordination of partnerships and engagement with local peacebuilding efforts in Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) within our multi-year programme ‘Local First: Transforming the Peacebuilding System’, funded by the Dutch MfA.

As Senior Partnerships and Programmes Officer you will work closely with our SPOs who manage existing partnerships and create opportunities to bring partners together to learn from one another. You will also support the development, coordination and delivery of Local First, working closely with the International Programmes Manager and Peace Direct’s Netherlands Country Representative.

We are looking for someone with experience supporting peacebuilding, development or humanitarian projects, with a good understanding of peacebuilding approaches, and who can build effective, trust-based relationships with local partners. You must be a team player who enjoys working collaboratively, have excellent organisational skills and be able to work in both English and French.

Role Title: External Communications and Advocacy Lead

JOB PURPOSE
UK for UNHCR (UK4U), the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for a Prospect Research Manager to join its Partnerships and Philanthropy Team (PPH). This role will play a key part in continuing to build our UHNWI, HNWI, Trust and Foundation and Corporate pipelines, by working closely with fundraising colleagues as well as UNHCR internationally.  
 

This role reports to the Head of Philanthropy and manages the Prospect Research Officer. The post holder will identify research, organise and evaluate a prospect’s financial capacity, ability to give, willingness to give, charitable interests, and connection to the organisation, operating within the organisation’s due diligence process. The post holder will work closely with senior stakeholders within PPH to help drive each area’s strategy and the overall team objectives.
 

The role manages UK for UNHCR’s due diligence process from renewing due diligence on existing pipelines, to completing new due diligence profiles utilising key due diligence tools and platforms, working with the PPH team, SMT and UNHCR’s global due diligence team.

The Alcohol Behavioural Change Specialist is responsible for collaboratively designing and implementing, evidence-based programmes applying appropriate behavioural change models aimed at reducing alcohol-related harm, and promoting long-term behavioural change related to alcohol consumption.

As a leading charity focused on alcohol harm reduction, the postholder will be Drinkaware’s internal expert regarding alcohol harm to individuals and will have a good understanding of brief interventions, as well as information, advice and guidance including quality assurance across our work. They will work across the organisation providing expert advice and guidance.

Programme & Intervention Development

• Work with the Head of operations to develop and implement personalised intervention strategies to help individuals reduce alcohol consumption, using evidence-based behavioural change techniques through our app and other digital tools.

• Collaborate with lived experience panel and Independent Advisory Panel to create comprehensive alcohol-related behavioural health programmes.

• Utilise your experience of motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based practices to promote lasting change in alcohol use behaviours across Drinkaware’s activity.

JOB SCOPE AND BRIEF 

Based at the magnificent Hampton Court Palace, the Royal School of Needlework is a registered charity and the international centre of excellence for the art of hand embroidery. We offer a thriving education programme for everyone from beginner to degree level. We teach online and in-person at venues across the UK and internationally in America and Japan.We offer teaching and leisure classes ranging from undergraduate degrees to day-classes held on-site and online. Our renowned Embroidery Studio creates stunning bespoke embroidery for fashion, art and royalty, as well as expertly restoring and conserving valuable and historical embroidered pieces. We also offer an online and in-person shop that stocks a full range of embroidery kits and merchandise.

The IT and Web Support role works closely with and reports to the IT Manager to support day-to-day IT support and web site operations organisation-wide across Retail, Education (short courses and degree), Marketing, Fundraising, Operations and Finance. In this role, you'll support day-to-day internal IT and external website operations, including supporting staff, tutors and students, solve both internal and customer problems, and help administer, maintain and develop the IT estate. 

This is a wide-ranging role suitable for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys an investigative and pro-active hands-on approach to solving IT issues, content and data tasks and problems, managing systems and processes, and is comfortable understanding day-to-day needs and translating them to online and IT deliverables and working in a busy cross-team environment with non-IT stakeholders.

You will have experience of IT support and administration within a Microsoft Windows / Microsoft 365 environment, including liasing with and supporting non-technical users as well as be comfortable using IT core applications notably spreadsheets (including importing and manipulating text data), databases, basic graphics editing for online usage, cloud computing, and website content management (preferably with some level eCommerce experience). 

Main job purpose: 

Supporting the RSN IT Manager in matters related to internal IT, customer-facing websites and other digital systems and services, including providing support for users, managing devices and the network, and providing data reports as required to enable delivery of various objectives ranging from digital and IT transformation, sourcing new products or courses and providing the data for business planning. 

Main Duties 

• Provide ‘hands on-site’ IT support and co-ordination (i.e. assisting and supporting the IT Manager) for investigating level 1+2 IT problems and resolving issues with staff, students, tutors and other RSN contacts 

• Assist with various day-to-day IT administrative task, such as setting up new accounts, installing software, managing licensing, supporting hardware, patch management etc. 

• Assisting departments with data handling and reporting tasks, including investigating and resolving customer issues (e.g. web site orders), and helping to co-ordinate and resolve other day-to-day IT needs and issues.

• Import, export and manipulate data from various systems, create reports and other materials for Finance and management as well as the above departments. 

• Administer and update content on our external customer websites, including web pages, shop products and classes. 

• Administer and update content on our internal web/intranet systems. 

• Help onboarding new staff and students, deploy laptops and devices, and deliver basic Microsoft 365 training. 

• Help develop and keep IT documentation and SOPs up-to-date. 

• You will also deputise for the IT manager in his absence dealing with day-to-day issues. 

Essential Requirements 

• Experience in providing first and second line IT support for issues, requests, and supporting software and hardware both in-person and remotely (via telephone, email, video and messaging).

• A pro-active approach to working in a cross-team environment with non-IT and non-technical staff and stakeholders, co-ordinating requirements and issues, and communicating effectively and efficiently. 

• Proactive, positive, organised and approachable. Attention to detail, strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities and a methodical approach to resolving complex issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A passion for technology and a desire to learn and develop skills. Curiosity and willingness to understand how to best handle and present data, how systems and processes work and how to improve them. 

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive, etc) both as a user and for support. 

• Administrator experience of Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Sharepoint, Teams, Onedrive, Entra ID) and Windows Server/Active Directory — i.e. administration for user accounts, licensing applications, group setup, policies, MFA, etc. 

• Understanding of basic networking (firewalls, switches, routers, wifi) and remote support tools. 

• Familiarity with basic data manipulation and reporting in Excel – e.g. importing/exporting text data (CSV files), sorting and filtering, updating data using formulas and lookups, formatting cells, basic charts and pivot tables, etc. 

• Experience with uploading content to a website using a Content Management System (CMS) and managing website structure (pages, links, etc). Checking and, if needed, lightly sub-editing content (text or graphics) to suit or fit. 

• Using databases — e.g. Customer Relationship Management (CRM), an understanding of database structure, table relationships and how data is used/stored. 

• A good grasp of cyber security best practices. 

• Using Zoom & Teams for meetings and webinars 

Desirable Requirements 

• Experience of using and managing WordPress website CMS and/or WooCommerce, notably in an online shop/store/retail environment, including stock control and inventory management. 

• Experience of Microsoft Intune for device management, plus Microsoft 365 conditional access and group policies 

• Experience of using and/or supporting Apple devices (macOS and iOS) 

• Basic understanding of core web technologies such as HTML, CSS and responsive design.

• Basic understanding of graphics and video applications, particularly for online content. 

• Microsoft Sharepoint content administration (web portal, pages, other content etc). 

• Experience of eCommerce and/or retail Point-of-Sale. 

• Creating and/or updating simple ‘how to’ guides and note for non-technical users. 

• A qualification in IT (e.g. diploma or degree, or a recognised industry or specialist accreditation) 

• Experience of the not-for-profit sector.
