About Us
GiveOut is an award-winning international LGBTQI community foundation bringing together our community and allies to support LGBTQI activism worldwide.
Across the world, courageous activists are working tirelessly to protect LGBTQI communities and advance equality. But they lack resources and funding is fragile, especially in the Global South. LGBTQI groups receive a tiny fraction of international development aid.
GiveOut exists to bridge this gap. We provide a platform for individuals, businesses and others to give tax efficiently in one place, ensuring sustained funding for LGBTQI human rights activism worldwide. By pooling donations, we provide grants to pioneering organisations, empowering them to defend our communities, tackle inequality and campaign for lasting change.
Our grant-making process follows a rigorous framework of consultation, due diligence, and vetting. It is overseen by our Grant-Making Advisory Panel, composed of LGBTQI activists from the Global South, and governed by our Board of Trustees.
In just seven years, we have provided over £3 million in new funding, supporting nearly 60 LGBTQI organisations globally. Our grant partners report back on their achievements, and we share their impact with our supporters, demonstrating the tangible difference their generosity makes.

About the Role
Grant-making is central to GiveOut’s mission of growing giving to support LGBTQI human rights activism globally. As Senior Grant-Making Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our grant-making programme, ensuring we effectively channel resources to LGBTQI activist organisations worldwide.
Bringing a passion for and knowledge of international LGBTQI human rights, you will have the opportunity to deepen your skills in grant-making, gain insights into LGBTQI human rights movements worldwide, and build meaningful relationships with LGBTQI activists and organisations across the globe.

Work with the Grant-Making Advisory Panel (GMAP) to identify and assess new grant partners, and coordinate annual GMAP meetings.

Develop an annual portfolio of grants, balancing renewals and new partnerships, and collaborate with the Executive Director to present to the Board for approval.

Conduct due diligence on grant partners, draft grant agreements, and manage payment processes.

BSE accreditation is a formal process available to our members, designed to ensure that high standards of clinical echocardiography are met and maintained for the benefit of patients. The BSE Accreditation process is recognised as world-leading, and it is essential that the highest standards are set and upheld by the Accreditation Department. The BSE Accreditation Officer, collaborating closely with the Accreditation team, is responsible for managing all administrative procedures related to the BSE accreditation.
The Accreditation Officer will act as the main contact for all BSE Accreditation-related matters and will collaborate with the BSE Accreditation Manager, Accreditation and Operations Coordinator, Accreditation Chairs, the Committee, and office staff to ensure consistency and high standards of work.
The post holder will be responsible for the effective management of BSE personal accreditation, with specific duties for organising and delivering practical assessments. The assessments take place on weekends and across the United Kingdom. The post holder will work closely with the Accreditation and Operations Coordinator and the Accreditation Manager to carry out various accreditation projects.

Main duties
Fundraising CRM Project Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end project to replace the current CRM system, including an audit of existing data, research into CRM options, supplier selection and full onboarding and implementation.
- Manage and maintain the current Salesforce system during the review period, ensuring it remains functional, accurate, and fit for purpose while supporting the transition process.

- Work with the Finance team to support integration between the CRM and finance systems for seamless donation and income reporting.
Data Selections, Segmentation and Campaign Support
- Collaborate with the Fundraising team to perform targeted data selections for appeals, newsletters, stewardship journeys, and events.
- Develop and maintain segmentation structures and logic to support personalised supporter journeys and strategic targeting.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to provide campaign-ready data for fundraising, advocacy, and engagement activities.
Reporting and Insight
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real time insight into fundraising performance, donor behaviour and campaign results.
- Create and deliver regular and ad hoc fundraising analysis to inform strategic decisions and performance tracking.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve donor retention, upgrade journeys and lifetime value through data driven insight.
Key responsibilities
- In conjunction with your Line Manager, continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Passage.

Purpose: The Fundraising and Admin Officer is responsible for delivering key administrative and fundraising activities that support the achievement of Vision Action’s income generation targets. The postholder will take a lead role in researching and applying to smaller trusts and foundations, while contributing to the development of larger funding proposals as needed. KEY AREAS:
- FUNDRAISING (80% of time)
Trusts & Foundations and Prospect Research
- Lead on the development and submission of applications to smaller trusts and foundations (up to £25,000), including drafting proposals, tracking deadlines, and updating the pipeline.
- Maintain and update the pipeline of prospective donors across income streams (trusts, corporates, government, and institutions).
