About the role

Are you passionate about online learning and eager to shape the future of health and care education? ShiftWorks, The King’s Fund’s innovative online learning offer (currently in development) requires a Learning Technologist to join our ambitious small team, hosted within the Fund’s Leadership and Organisational Development directorate.

As the team Learning Technologist, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing our online learners and maintaining the online learning environment. You’ll be the go-to expert for learner engagement, leveraging the latest digital technologies to create an unparalleled learning experience.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Programme Director and Development Consultant to scale our low-cost, high-volume product. Your contributions will directly impact the growth of ShiftWorks, ensuring our learners receive top-notch learning that’s both accessible and impactful.

If you’re ready to manage a diverse portfolio of online courses, provide exceptional user support, and drive the continuous improvement of our learning platform, we want to hear from you. Join us and be at the forefront of our goal to revolutionise online learning and development in health and care.

The Fund has an ambition to increase the diversity of our workforce and introduce careers in health and care policy to a broader range of people. We encourage applicants from all sections of the community, including those from Black and ethnic minority backgrounds, those with disabilities and from the LGBT+ community. We believe that diversity of background and experience contributes to a broader collective perspective that will improve the way we influence health and social care policy.

We are in the process of developing our long-term policy on this, although the expected minimum time in the office will remain 40% (pro rata).

In addition to a competitive salary, The King’s Fund offers generous holiday entitlements, a £3 daily discount in our café and an on-site gym.
