About the role

You’ll join our finance team as a Systems Accountant, bringing strong financial and technical skills. This role is ideal for someone part-qualified with experience in successfully implementing finance systems and improving financial processes. 

You’ll act as a bridge between finance and IT, ensuring financial systems are optimized to meet business needs, driving efficiency, and enhancing financial reporting.

• Support the implementation, development, and continuous improvement of financial systems.

• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to ensure smooth system integration and data accuracy.

• Assist in configuring and testing new financial systems or system enhancements.

National Numeracy supports volunteers from our corporate partners to deliver sessions in primary schools
that inspire children to see the value of maths in the real world. The Programme enables volunteers to
directly support communities with low number confidence and skills, celebrating everyday maths, and
developing the building blocks of social mobility in areas of need.

The new Programmes Assistant will work with the Volunteering Manager and wider Programmes Team to
deliver this exciting Programme. The role will involve working with internal team members and external
partners to assist with delivery, including recruitment of volunteers and schools, training of volunteers,
resource delivery and preparation, feedback, data collection and associated admin. The Programmes
Assistant will be the first point of contact for volunteers, schools and partner organisations.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and able to respond to the fast-paced work around the busiest
periods of the year for the Programme. It’s not imperative that you come from the education or charity
sectors, or that you have held an equivalent role previously, as long as you can show us that you have

Herts Mind Network (HMN) has formed a partnership with Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust (HPFT) to deliver a one-to-one outreach service for people who are in hospitals across Hertfordshire.

About the Role:

• To receive referrals from the staff at Lister Hospital.
• To manage and prioritise all administration tasks associated with the service.
• To build strong relationships with staff at Lister Hospital and Mental Health Teams across Hertfordshire.
• To work in partnership with other agencies.
• To establish a strong presence on the ward, working at the hospital when required.
• Ensure a direct community service is in place which encourages, motivates and builds patients self-esteem and confidence. This will include goal setting and support with social and practical skills development.
• To assist patients to access appropriate services and community resources within the local community, accompanying patients to attend appointments where this aids ongoing recovery.
• To work with key staff within the hospital to ensure that vulnerable person’s cases are monitored and risks evaluated.

Rough sleeping data shows that migrants make up more than 50% of the people rough sleeping in London. The MAPS service provides a rapid intervention to support clients who are migrants and rough sleeping in London to find a route into accommodation that is suitable and sustainable in the UK or elsewhere in the world. We are looking for someone to join our team as an Assessment and Reconnection Worker where you will:

• Provide rapid holistic assessments with migrants who are rough sleeping across London, helping to clarify entitlements and identify routes off the streets.
• Work with clients to produce person-centred, rights-based actions plans that meet their needs and resolve their rough sleeping in the UK or elsewhere in the world.
• Work closely with external agencies to ensure all clients’ needs are met. Many of our clients have multiple support needs. This may include experience of navigating the immigration and asylum systems, complex trauma, substance misuse and mental and physical health support needs. 
• Advise and support other professionals working with migrants on options to resolve their clients’ homelessness.
• While your usual working hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, occasional work during early or late hours may occur in response to challenging situations and to prevent rough sleeping. 

About you

We are a small team so try to maximise our resources and find creative solutions to resolve people’s homelessness. Due to the legislative and political climate in which we work, accommodation options are often limited for our client group, and so we are looking for someone who can be flexible, proactive and is passionate about working migrants.

Ideally you would have experience of working with vulnerable people and an understanding of the needs and support requirements of this client group, particularly non-UK nationals.

We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have lived experience of migration and/or speak additional languages to English.

What you'll do:

- Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities

- Ensure that referrals are chased proactively so that properties which can be used to house those in need are filled as efficiently as possible

About the role

This is a hugely exciting time to be joining Galop, with flexibility to think long term about how best to drive change and do something new and different. Whilst Galop has always advocated for policy change, this role is part of a new, growing team specifically focused on evidence-based policy change. The team is led by the Director of Policy and Evidence and composed of a Research Manager, Survivor Engagement Manager, Research Officer and this Policy Officer role.

We are building an effective Policy and Evidence team, rooted in frontline insights, a formal research programme, and opportunities to make change happen for LGBT people at a pivotal time. We work alongside Government ministers and officials, parliamentarians and regional authorities at the highest level to make evidence-based policy change.

As the Policy Officer, you will report to the Director of Policy and Evidence and work alongside the team to deliver Galop’s policy priorities, with support. You will also work closely with the Communications and Fundraising team and our Services.

You will be expected to:

• Undertake desk-based research, alongside using Galop’s own research, to support evidence-based policy analyses and positions.
• Draft policy briefings, research summaries, consultation responses, letters, reports, newsletters and stakeholder communications
• Research and track policy developments, political landscape changes, and other relevant areas to identify opportunities to further Galop’s objectives.
• Monitor and report on parliamentary activities, government announcements, and consultations relevant to LGBT victims/survivors.
• Assist the team to deliver funded influencing projects such as a mapping study of LGBT accessible support services across London, by supporting the Director to work with decision makers to make system-change happen across London.

About the role

The Director of Finance will lead the finance team to ensure the effective support for SFCT’s complex requirements across all aspects of finance, investment management, governance, compliance and risk.

As a qualified accountant, you will be someone with knowledge and experience in charity finance, who also has a commercial focus and likely has had a stint in industry. Pause works to improve the lives of women who have had more than one child removed from their care, and the services and systems that affect them.

As Communications and Policy Officer, your role will be to raise awareness and increase understanding of Pause and the experiences of the women we work with in order to achieve positive change at both a national and local level.

This is a new role, sitting within the Partnerships and Engagement team, although you will work with colleagues across the whole organisation.

This will involve working closely with our Impact and Influencing Lead as well as our colleagues in practice, participation and engagement, so that you can learn from those with lived experience and ensure their voices are at the forefront.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with the ability to deliver creative communications to influence change. You also should have a real desire to create positive change in the services and systems that affect the lives of women who have had children removed from their care.
