The key elements of the Operations Manager are:

1. Ensure Rainbow Haven provides a supportive working environment in which staff and volunteer well-being is prioritised, for individuals and the whole team.

1. Oversee accessible monitoring and evaluation systems and develop these to ensure data and additional information can be collected and provided in various formats as required for all projects.

Oversee the organisational Infrastructure to ensure Rainbow Haven maintains high standards of work practice and safety

1. Oversight of Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Data Protection and all other operational and workplace policies, ensuring that all staff and volunteers receive appropriate training, are aware of, understand and follow the policies.

2. Oversight of the operational running of Rainbow Haven premises.

3. Review Rainbow Haven policies, to ensure operational policies are kept up to date and revised within the correct timeframe.

4. Ensure all other legal and operational requirements are adhered to, including external an internal registrations, agreements and assessments and service contracts.

5. Maintain a good working relationship with the United Reform Church in its role as landlord, reporting maintenance issues, responding to their requests and addressing any concerns raised by them.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and talented fundraising team

We are looking for an experienced Fundraising Officer to join our small and friendly fundraising team. You will support the High Value Partnerships Manager and Community Fundraising Manager, both of which are already well-established income streams with lots of great potential. It’s a great opportunity to work across varied income streams including Corporate, Trusts & Grants, Community, Fundraising Events and Individual/Regular Giving.

Contract: Permanent
Hours:  37 hours per week (negotiable for the right candidate)

Reports to: Community Fundraising Manager  
Work location: Hybrid/remote. Office space in London Bridge, although entirely remote option is fine. Travel to partner meetings/events will also be required.

Purpose of the role

• Reporting to the High Value Partnerships Manager you will provide support across our two priority Fundraising streams – Community Fundraising (Community, Events and Individual/Regular Giving) and High Value Partnerships (Trusts, Grants, Corporate and Sponsorship).
• Conducting prospect research (Corporate and Trusts/Grants) creating a pipeline of targeted opportunities, and submitting applications for lower level funding
• Providing excellent relationship management to those in our community who fundraise for us, whether that’s as a Regular Giver or Marathon runner
• Providing support to the Manager planning Fundraising Events, recruiting participants, attending and cheering on our fundraisers and thanking our supporters
• Accountable for delivering our annual raffle and ongoing Lottery programme
• Support the wider Development team with admin relating to Fundraising

The ideal candidate will have experience either in supporting the delivery of High Value partnerships or Community Fundraising. At SPANA, we support a network of global partners working through both a short- term small grants and long- term programmes – known as our Senior Partners. Senior Partners represent key strategic investments in our mission to enhance working animal welfare. About the role

Sightsavers’ Trusts and Corporate Partnerships team is excited to be expanding its team in response to growing demands and opportunities in the trusts & foundation sector. We are recruiting for two additional Trusts & Foundations Advisors to be key contributors to the development of Sightsavers trusts and foundations programme. They will play a crucial role in the successful recruitment and cultivation of new business, while also managing a portfolio of existing trust and foundation donors primarily based in the UK, U.S and Europe.

In this role, the Advisor will be instrumental in contributing towards the team’s annual income target and supporting additional planned growth in the coming years. 

Responsibilities

• Manage and cultivate relationships with a portfolio of key trust and foundation donors for Sightsavers (up to 7-figure funding agreements) via proposals, mailings, reports, telephone or face-to-face meetings as appropriate, and coordinate donor visits, dealing with CEOs, Directors, and Trustees.
• Develop key external and internal relationships and donor engagement activities for the achievement of planned objectives with these donors.
• Research, identify, prioritise, and develop personalised engagement plans and donor strategies to cultivate new trust prospects in targeted global markets. Lead on cultivating relationships with CEOs, Directors, and Trustees, with the aim of establishing additional high-value funding relationships.

The Casework and Research Manager will lead Humanists International's efforts in supporting Humanists at Risk through strategic engagement, research, and the management of key publications, particularly the Freedom of Thought Report.
