The Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager will contribute to building and growing a robust pipeline through a strategic focus on new business, working with senior managers and leadership across the organisation to identify, qualify, and prioritise corporate partnership leads. You will oversee a portfolio of high-value corporate partners too, managing and coaching the Corporate Partnerships Manager and ensuring long-term engagement and financial contributions with partners as a committed team of corporate partnership fundraisers.

About the Degrees Initiative  

The Degrees Initiative is a UK-based NGO that builds the capacity of developing countries to evaluate solar radiation modification geoengineering (SRM), a controversial proposal for reducing some impacts of climate change by reflecting sunlight away from the Earth. Degrees is neutral on whether SRM should ever be used, but we believe that developing countries should be empowered to conduct their own research and to play a central role in SRM discussions. The initiative has been working in different forms for over a decade, and our work receives worldwide coverage and widespread acclaim. 

This is a unique opportunity to inform conversations on SRM in Asia, including the Pacific Islands. Rather than lobbying for outcomes, Degrees aims to support informed, independent policymaking by fostering connections between researchers and policymakers and strengthening institutional expertise. Degrees promotes regional research, creates spaces for policy-science dialogue, and supports the dissemination of Global South research.

Responsibilities 

The Policy Engagement Manager, Asia will strengthen the voice of the Global South in discussions and potential negotiations on SRM research and governance with relevance to Asia by connecting experts to policy processes. Accordingly, the successful candidate will 

• Identify and engage key policy actors (e.g. national delegates and legislators, scientific advisors, intergovernmental officials) in Asia, connecting them to local SRM experts and providing them with information, where appropriate, while remaining neutral regarding the potential use and governance of SRM; 

• Work with SRM researchers from the region to support the creation of a coordinated community of experts; 

• Build informal and formal partnerships with like-minded organisations, helping to inform discussions and counter misinformation about climate and SRM 

• Share expertise and experience gained from Asia with staff and researchers and participate, as appropriate, in activities in Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean to gain similar expertise; 

• Identify the most impactful international forums and regional SRM discussions, and work to connect local experts into these; 

• Support the execution and coordination of the Degrees policy engagement strategy in collaboration with other policy and programmatic staff; 

• Contribute to budgeting and alignment with programmes; 

• Support monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) activities by contributing to tracking, documentation, and reporting of policy engagement outcomes; 

• Identify a core group of researchers interested in policy engagement, and facilitate and join their participation in governance fora such as the UNFCCC COP, UN Environment Assembly, and meetings of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity; 

• In cooperation with the communications staff, ensure the development of clear, contextualised briefing materials for policy makers and other audiences.

About the role

Kids Cancer Charity have been supporting children affected by cancer from all over the UK since 1989.  Life changes when a child is diagnosed with cancer, every aspect of their life and that of their family is thrown into turmoil.  We offer support through our care breaks and Play Therapy during treatment and beyond.

We are looking for a passionate, talented Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our ambitious, successful Fundraising team that has been growing year-on-year since 1989 as we approach our new fundraising strategy.

Role summary and purpose

This role is responsible for managing and developing the charity’s portfolio of Trusts and Foundations, securing significant gifts and growing the long-term potential of this portfolio.  There are no direct reports, however the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the General Manager, to build and develop cases for support to help fund our much-needed work.

The successful candidate will utilise their expert writing skills to shape those cases for support into compelling, high-quality proposals and reports.

Building relationships with a wide range of audiences including funders is key. Inspiring them to support families affected by cancer across the UK.

A dynamic, self-motivated, ambitious and pro-active fundraiser is required for this role, demonstrating enthusiasm for the projects and services we are seeking funds to support.

About you

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience and a proven track record of successful income generation and delivering against targets.

You will have demonstratable experience in researching potential Trust funders, submitting compelling proposals, securing funding and project managing successful bids through to completion of the grant award.

You will also have a background in report writing and demonstrating grant impact whilst being able to build relationships with funders, individual/major donors and senior stakeholders.

Experience of providing excellent supporter care, building mutually beneficial long-term relationships with funders is a must for this role.

Key responsibilities

Research and process management

· Work closely with our General Manager and fundraising team to fully understand our work, and the costs of delivering our work.

· Build strong cases for support, ensuring that you have all the information needed to create compelling proposals and reports for high and mid-value funders.

· Research and identify prospective trusts and foundations and other grant giving bodies.

· Grow and maintain a strong trust funding pipeline, creating new trust prospects for our priority funding areas.

· Develop our long-term trusts and foundations strategy and agree ongoing budgets and targets for this income stream.

· Maintain accurate records including tracking and analysing opportunities, results, and outcomes.

Fundraising 

· Identify and manage a pipeline of high-value prospects and opportunities which have the potential to deliver five- and six-figure grants.

.         Oversee the Trusts Team in delivering to develop and deliver persuasive and timely funding applications.

· Develop relationships with staff members and other key stakeholders across the charity maximising every opportunity for cultivation and development.

· Plan and organise opportunities for funders to view Kids Cancers Charity’s work first-hand, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed and met.

Reporting

· Compile comprehensive and compelling progress reports to feed back to grant makers in a timely fashion and incentivise continued support.

· Alongside the General Manager prepare accurate budgets detailing spending of specific grants.

· Draw down on any multi-year grants as outlined in our annual budget.

· Provide briefing notes and income pipeline on donor activities and potential funding opportunities.

This is an opportunity for a well-rounded accountant to join the Bild group of charities. The post-holder will be responsible for all management accounts across a group of four charities, whose combined turnover is circa £4m per year.

St Giles Trust is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented People Data and Reward Manager to lead our data, reward, and payroll functions. This is a key role in shaping how we use people data to drive inclusive, high-performing workplaces.

About the Role

You’ll lead a small team to deliver effective, compliant, and customer-focused people services. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll ensure our HR and payroll systems support organisational goals, and that our reward practices are fair, transparent, and aligned with our values.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the People Data and Reward team, providing strategic direction and operational oversight.

• Manage and enhance our integrated HR and payroll systems, including configuration and optimisation.

• Act as the data protection lead for People, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.

• Provide expert guidance to the Executive Director of People and Internal Operations on risks, issues, and opportunities.

• Support the development of inclusive reward strategies and data-driven decision-making.

• Has strong experience in HR data, payroll, and reward management.

• Is confident using HRIS platforms and Excel to analyse and report on people data.

How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community. 

When you need to travel for work, expenses will be paid (mileage or public transport costs).

VoiceAbility offers the usual regular manager one to ones, Staff forums and communities of practice depending on role. Team meetings with a mix of virtual and in person approach.

Role Overview:
The Talent Set is delighted to partner with a fantastic Children’s Charity to find an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to provide interim support for their paid advertising activity. This is a short-term role starting asap to cover the period up to Christmas, with a focus on the day-to-day management of paid social and paid search campaigns.
You’ll work closely with colleagues, agencies and their in-house creative team to ensure campaigns are set up correctly, running smoothly and delivering results. The role is focused on campaign delivery and reporting, rather than creative development.
Key responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor and optimise paid social campaigns, principally on Meta (Facebook & Instagram), with activity also on LinkedIn and TikTok.
• Oversee paid search campaigns, including the management of our Google Grant account (experience with google grant is helpful but not essential).
• Ensure campaigns are correctly set up, tracked and delivering against agreed objectives.
• Produce clear, regular reports on campaign performance.
• Liaise with agencies and in-house teams to coordinate creative assets and campaign launches.
• Track and manage workload using project management tools (Asana experience is helpful but not essential).

Person specification:
Essential

• Proven experience managing paid social campaigns directly in platform, especially Meta (Facebook & Instagram).
• Experience with LinkedIn Ads, and ideally TikTok Ads.
• Understanding of Google Ads, preferably with Google Grants experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to report on and interpret campaign performance.
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to work independently.

Desirable

• Experience using project management tools such as Asana.
• Experience with Google Grants.

What’s on offer:
 

• Part-time, flexible working (3 days per week, fully remote).
