Reporting to the CEO, we are seeking a Director of Income Generation to lead on securing income. This is an exciting role which will focus on: 

• maximising our unique portfolio of corporate supporters; further growing our Trust and Grants income, including building partnerships with like-minded charities; 
• building our events-based fundraising, including bespoke events; 
• looking for new areas for growth which could include developing a HNWI giving programme. 

This role sits within our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will manage our Fundraising team. You will seek to maximise value from opportunities across the organisation and ensure that fundraising is consistent with the charity’s broader goals. You will also work closely with of Director of Employment and Opportunities and team to co-design a Corporate Supporter Strategy. 

To be successful, you will need proven success in securing five and six-figure value partnerships (both in corporate and philanthropy), as well as an overall understanding of our wider key income streams. Previous experience of working in a youth charity is highly desirable. Whilst your income generation achievements are important, your mindset and the way you approach your work are equally important to us, and we are looking for an inspiring and collaborative leader who seeks out opportunities alongside supporting your team to achieve their potential. 

We are a remote-based organisation which promotes flexible working. This role will require frequent travel to our hub cities (Birmingham, Liverpool, London and Manchester).

About the Role
 
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of youth work in England. As Policy and Public Affairs Manager at the National Youth Agency (NYA), you’ll play a central role in influencing national policy and driving change that impacts young people’s lives.
 
We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic individual to join our Policy, Insights and External Affairs Directorate. You’ll work closely with the Head of Policy and Public Affairs, line manage the Policy and Public Affairs Officer, and collaborate with colleagues and sector partners to deliver a bold and proactive policy agenda that champions youth work in policy making. The role

We’re looking for a strategic, creative Head of Fundraising to lead our next phase of growth.

Your first focus will be stewarding our 3,000 fundraisers - overseeing segmented email journeys, managing a £40k prizing fund, and improving supporter care through deeper, more personal touchpoints. That might mean calls, events, or just finding ways to help people feel more connected to their impact.

Beyond that, you'll help us develop and test new income streams - from matched giving and regular giving, to sponsorships, repeat fundraising, and post-event conversion. You'll also play a key role in evolving our Challenge Events portfolio across in-person, virtual, and blended formats.

Qualifications and Experience

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Fundraiser to join our friendly team. We seek someone who feels passionately about our mission, to help us to drive income and ensure Success Club can continue to change lives, by building strong engagement with our donors and fundraisers. You will build on our past successes by managing existing relationships with, and making new grant-applications to Trusts and Foundations. We are a small core team and ideas are welcomed! As Fundraiser, you’ll be the first point of contact for all inbound fundraising enquiries—whether by email, phone or at in-person events. You will nurture relationships with our existing individual and corporate supporters and identify and cultivate prospective donors.

You’ll be proactive and organised, passionate about delivering outstanding supporter experiences, and will have a strong understanding of the charity sector. Familiarity with fundraising databases or CRMs is also a plus.

The role will involve representing Success Club at occasional meetings and events, where you’ll be well supported by our existing team of Trustees and the CEO & Business and Operations Manager. Position Title: Helpline Supervisor
Reports To: Helpline Manager / CEO

Role Purpose:

The Helpline Supervisor will provide support, guidance and supervise the helpline advisors and in the future helpline volunteers. The role will further provide emotional support and debriefing for the helpline advisors and volunteers during each helpline shift and when appropriate after each reported incident. They will also oversee the quality of service and ensure each report is dealt with appropriately to a high standard and that reports are logged appropriately recording all relevant information, ensuring data is protected and all procedures are followed.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance and emotional support to helpline advisors.

You’ll join our cross-functional Product & Engineering team to build and improve the digital platforms that teachers and pupils rely on every day. At Kids Matter, we are committed to delivering effective coaching. All Support Coaches are given the opportunity to go through the coaching accreditation process with ICF to become an Associate Certified Coach (ACC). Kids Matter provides the support and supervision for this to take place, and will cover the cost of the accreditation if the individual remains employed as a Support Coach for the two years following applying for accreditation. If the individual leaves before two years, a percentage of the accreditation cost will be required to pay back.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented storyteller and strategic communicator to join our busy, dynamic, and focused team of professional activists as a Copywriting Coordinator. With a natural flair for persuasive writing and a background in direct response marketing, you will craft powerful narratives that expose the reality of animal farming, inspire action, and mobilise financial support for our life-saving mission.

You will be responsible for creating compelling content across print and digital platforms – from fundraising appeals and newsletters to blogs, campaign pages, and supporter journeys. Combining creativity with analytical rigour, you will ensure every piece of copy both engages hearts and delivers measurable results. You will proudly champion Animal Equality’s tone of voice, supporting fellow team members to apply our messaging to their copy.

This is a pivotal role in growing Animal Equality UK’s reach, deepening supporter relationships, and driving the income we need to achieve lasting change for farmed animals.

The Copywriting Coordinator will report to the Executive Director and work closely with team members across our UK and international teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Be a brand champion: Develop engaging, accurate, and impactful copy that embodies Animal Equality’s tone and mission, sharing the experiences of farmed animals with donors and potential supporters.
• Deliver multi-channel content: Produce persuasive copy for appeals, newsletters, websites, campaign pages, blogs, magazines, impact reports, and petitions, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
• Support fundraising growth: Write powerful long-form and short-form content that motivates supporters to give and meaningfully engage with our work, enabling Animal Equality to expand our impact for animals.
• Content planning: Work with Campaigns, Marketing, and Communications teams to align content with upcoming exposés and campaign actions, ensuring maximum reach and supporter engagement.
• Collaborate with the team: Synthesise complex briefs into digestible, engaging, and emotive content while collaborating with team members to ensure Animal Equality’s content reaches its full potential through amplification, SEO, and multi-channel repurposing.

ABOUT YOU

You are a forward-thinking communicator with exceptional writing skills and a passion for advocating for animals with impact. You must have a minimum of three years’ experience in copywriting or a directly related field, with a proven ability to design and deliver content for successful fundraising. Experience of Pardot, Grav and/or WordPress is a plus.

You will be based remotely in the UK. In addition to monthly meet-ups, some travel within the UK may be required for demonstrations, meetings, and events. While not common, occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary to support campaigning activities. Any additional hours worked and agreed with your Manager can be reclaimed as TOIL.
