NHM Unlocked is an ambitious programme to secure the future of our irreplaceable collection, accelerate scientific research and innovation, and enhance our public offer. Made possible by a £201 million government investment, Unlocked will build a new collections digitisation and research centre at Thames Valley Science Park (TVSP), relocate 28 million natural history specimens to the new centre, and a further 10 million to new fit-for-purpose stores at the South Kensington site, capturing digital specimen data that will make the collection available for use by researchers around the world. The programme will not only enhance the UK’s leading role in tackling urgent global challenges, but also unlock the redevelopment of our galleries in South Kensington, transforming our public offer and mission to create advocates for the planet.

The newly created and high-profile role of Project Director, Collections is a rare and career-defining opportunity to lead one of the most significant collection transformation projects in the museum sector. WCCM seeks to appoint an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Grant and Major Donor Fundraising Manager to lead fundraising and grant management across a global organisation dedicated to the teaching of Christian Meditation.

Working to the Executive Director, you will interact with our decentralised finance, marketing and communications staff and volunteers.  

Together, you will nurture Major Donor relationships and create and manage appropriate donor stewardship schemes and rationalise our income streams.

You’ll ensure grant reporting and management is kept on track whilst developing targeted proposals for new funding from sympathetic donors in the arena of Trusts and foundations.  

You will work to support both our teaching and resourcing of meditation and the running of our retreat centre in Bonnevaux, near Poitiers in France.

Our Anti-Social Behaviour Team is a small, high performing team which deals with the above issues, along with our duties under Prevent, Modern Day Slavery, Hate Crimes and the Community Safety Partnership. About you

Asylum Aid is seeking a solicitor and IAAS-accredited senior caseworker to join its Public Law team, with experience in immigration legal aid, judicial review, and asylum and human rights law. The role involves managing a complex caseload of asylum, trafficking, human rights, and public law claims, providing high-quality legal advice and representation, and conducting judicial review challenges in the Administrative Court and Upper Tribunal. The successful candidate will work closely with the Public Law Supervisor and the Director of Legal Casework to ensure that individual cases are handled effectively while also identifying systemic issues suitable for strategic litigation to achieve broader impact.

About the opportunity

As an Assurance Officer, you'll work in partnership with colleagues across Alzheimer's Society to deliver professional, credible, and valued assurance and counter fraud services. This is a role where your technical skills directly contribute to strengthening the Society's governance, risk management, and control processes, enabling better decision-making and ultimately the successful achievement of our objectives.

You'll be part of our Finance & Assurance directorate, working alongside the Assurance & Counter Fraud Manager to complete risk-based, value-adding assurance work. From conducting internal audit engagements and evaluating the effectiveness of controls to supporting our counter fraud framework and keeping abreast of sector best practices, you'll play a vital role in helping the Society operate safely, legally, and ethically.

About you:

You're a part-qualified internal auditor or CCAB accountant with proven experience of successfully delivering assurance projects. You understand internal audit methodologies, risk assessment, and control frameworks, and you can plan, test, and document assurance work to deliver credible and timely audit opinions. You're skilled at drafting professional, clear reports that provide real value to stakeholders.

You'll have:

- Part-qualified status as an internal auditor or CCAB accountant.
- Proven experience delivering internal audits, including planning, testing, documentation, and writing reports that stakeholders find genuinely useful.
- Solid understanding of audit methodologies, risk frameworks, and control environments.
- Strong communication skills that balance assertiveness with building relationships and influencing colleagues at all levels.

- Delivering professional internal audit arrangements that reflect the organisation's risk profile.
- Helping develop and embed the strategic direction of internal audit, including new ways of working and conformance with professional standards.
- Working on internal audit engagements in line with the audit plan, contributing to the year-end audit opinion.
- Evaluating and providing assurance that internal processes and controls are designed and operating effectively to mitigate risks.
- Providing solution-focused, pragmatic recommendations for improvement.
- Ensuring audit recommendations are tracked and implemented.
- Supporting the maintenance of an effective counter fraud framework and culture.
- Helping maintain a log of fraudulent incidents and supporting investigation work where required.
- Promoting continuous improvement within the Assurance team.
- Keeping abreast of sector best practices and emerging trends in assurance and fraud.

A well-established charity is seeking a Junior Trusts & Foundations Officer to join its Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to support vital fundraising efforts, manage relationships with funders, and contribute directly to the organisation’s mission to make a meaningful impact worldwide.

About the role
Reporting to the Trusts & Foundations Manager, you will provide comprehensive support in trusts and foundations fundraising. You will manage a portfolio of four-figure donors, maintain the fundraising database, and help build a pipeline of new trusts and foundations aligned with the charity’s priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with funders, managing your own portfolio.
• Research new funding opportunities and prepare information for proposals and impact reports.
• Maintain and administer the Trusts and Foundations database.
• Collate case studies and photos from global teams for reporting purposes.
• Support the drafting of proposals to secure unrestricted and restricted funding.
• Ensure accurate recording of all new income and share paperwork with relevant departments.
• Send thank you letters, impact reports, and other funder communications.
• Ensure all fundraising activities comply with GDPR.
• Provide pipeline reports and updates as required.

The Sumatran Orangutan Society (SOS) is dedicated to protecting orangutans, their forests, and their future. Together with our local partners in Sumatra, we’re protecting vital ecosystems and creating resilient landscapes where orangutans – and people – can thrive.

We’re looking for an experienced and creative fundraiser to lead our individual giving and supporter engagement programmes, grow our supporter base, and champion innovation in public engagement and income generation. You’ll be rallying resources which will ultimately help us grow our impact for wild orangutans and the people living alongside them.

The Role

As Head of Individual Giving & Supporter Engagement, you’ll lead the strategic development and delivery of SOS’s public fundraising portfolio – inspiring individuals around the world to take action and give generously for the future of Sumatra’s rainforests and wildlife.

You’ll be responsible for individual giving, digital acquisition and retention, legacies, appeals and campaigns, and supporter events. You’ll be given the freedom to innovate, identifying and developing new income streams and engagement products and approaches that help us reach and inspire new audiences.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with strong acquisition experience, who can help us grow and diversify our supporter base.

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll work closely with communications, partnerships, and programmes colleagues to build an engaged community of supporters and advocates for SOS.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead the development and delivery of SOS’s public fundraising strategy, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s mission and income targets.

• Set and manage income and expenditure budgets for all individual giving fundraising streams, ensuring healthy ROI and sustainability. 

• Set clear targets and KPIs, with robust financial planning, forecasting, and monitoring.

• Foster innovation across public fundraising, developing and testing new products and propositions.

• Promote a culture of data and insight-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and connecting our supporters to the impact they enable.

• Adhere to the Fundraising Regulator Code of Practise and Data Protection legislation and ensure the SOS Donor Promise and Fundraising Values are alive and visible in all fundraising activity.

Individual Giving & Donor Development

• Oversee acquisition, retention, and uplift strategies for individual donors, ensuring a seamless and inspiring supporter journey.

• Design and manage a calendar of appeals and campaigns, including the Big Give Christmas Challenge.

• Work closely with Communications & Marketing colleagues to deliver compelling creative content and integrated fundraising campaigns across digital channels.
   

Digital Fundraising

• Lead on digital acquisition strategy and performance, testing and optimising paid and organic campaigns to grow SOS’s online giving and supporter base.

• Manage and optimise digital giving platforms, donor journeys, and analytics to improve conversion, retention, and lifetime value.
   

Legacies & Events

• Develop and implement SOS’s legacy marketing strategy, raising awareness and nurturing pledgers and enquirers with care and authenticity.

• Manage fundraising events (such as our Buffoonery comedy night) and oversee community fundraising initiatives, optimising engagement and lifetime value.
   

Collaboration & Management

• Line manage the Development Assistant, ensuring that our supporters receive outstanding stewardship.

• Work closely with colleagues across Development, Communications, and Programmes to ensure a joined-up approach to engagement, conversion, and storytelling.

• Keep up to date with sector trends, digital innovations, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and best practice in all fundraising activity.
   

About You

You’re a strategic and practical fundraiser who knows how to inspire public giving. You combine creativity with an analytical approach, and you’re motivated by purpose and impact. You’ll flourish in a small, committed team where innovation and collaboration are key.

Essential:

• Significant experience in individual giving and/or digital fundraising, including both strategy development and delivery.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding income targets across multiple channels.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and digital fundraising platforms.

• Strong understanding of digital acquisition and retention techniques, data-driven fundraising, and supporter journeys.

• Experience managing appeals and campaigns, ideally including match-funded initiatives (e.g. the Big Give).

• Excellent copywriting, creative and analytical skills, with an eye for compelling storytelling.

• Experience in budget management and performance reporting.

• Collaborative and adaptable, with excellent project management and communication skills.
   

Desirable:

• Experience in product development or innovation in the charity sector.

• Knowledge of legacy fundraising.

• Interest in environmental, conservation, or international development causes.
