Could you be a Caseworker for vulnerable young people? Could you give them the support and guidance they need to get back on their feet and live independently?
The young people we work with have become homeless for a number of reasons – isolation or mental ill health, abusive relationships, substance misuse, involvement in gangs/county lines - their issues are complex so you will need to be able to build strong, trusting relationships so that our customers feel safe and supported.
We are opening two new supported housing schemes in Lewisham. Both schemes are part of our well-established Young Persons and Complex Needs service in London and will provide temporary housing for young people aged 16-17 who are experiencing homelessness.
A bit about the role:
As a Caseworker, you will be working with a team of highly motivated, compassionate, and dedicated colleagues supporting a caseload of young customers with complex needs. You’ll need to meet each customer weekly to help them with their goals and discuss their progress. And, when someone’s ready to move on, we'll rely on you to help them access the housing register or look for suitable rented accommodation.
What we’re looking for:
You may have worked with vulnerable young people in a paid or voluntary capacity, maybe as a Youth Worker or in an education setting providing pastoral care. You’re a great relationship builder, who can create trust so that our young people feel comfortable sharing their issues with you, you listen but in a non-judgemental way and you are able to spot signs for concern and act on them.
You’ll also need to be able to work on your own, sometimes dealing with challenging situations and diffusing them to avoid escalation. Is this you?
- Relationship building skills
- Empathy
- Great listening skills
- Diplomacy and the ability to deal with challenging situations and diffuse them
- Non judgmental
- Proactive and assertive
This role will require an Enhanced DBS check.
It is essential that you are able to work 37.5 hours a week – we are not a UK licenced sponsor and any sponsorship with another employer is not valid for this role.

The Green Space for Health Director will oversee the development of the NHS Forest and other Green Space for Health projects, delivering the programme strategy. - Act as a spokesperson for the programme, including making presentations, responding to media requests and participating in relevant national policy fora, including for the purposes of wider policy development.
- Be an active member of CSH’s senior management team, helping to develop CSH as an organisation, including strategy, employment and oversight.

Do you want to support physiotherapists in transforming people's health and wellbeing? Can you make a positive impact within a team? You could join the service that members contact when they turn to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) for support.
The Enquiries Team is an established 2-way channel that responds to enquiries arriving through multiple channels from CSP members, stakeholders, and the public. Additionally, we proactively reach out to members with various campaigns throughout the year, each with distinct objectives and aims.
About the role
The enquiries we receive are diverse, and multitasking is essential as you'll be expected to handle calls and respond to email enquiries concurrently. Comprehensive support will be provided to help you learn all about the organisation so that you can deliver the best experience to our members. We offer an excellent benefits package, including 27 days’ annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays, Christmas office closure between 25 December to 01 January and generous pension scheme with 12% employer contribution.
*The CSP operates a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work between their home and the office. While we do not stipulate the number of days in the office, employees can decide, through discussions with their line managers, how, when, and where they work best, balancing the needs of the CSP, the team, and themselves. Employees are still expected to attend the office for in-person meetings when required for their role and the organisation. Is Homeworking is subject to meeting homeworking assessment requirements, which include a minimum broadband speed of 18Mbps and a dedicated space to work from.
