Our Direct Marketing Team is part of this department, and recruits and develops supporters. We are seeking a Direct Marketing Officer to join this team to manage and deliver a series of high standard direct marketing campaigns across our Regular Giving programme. This individual will be recruiting, retaining and upgrading regular donors to generate income through a variety of direct marketing methods such as direct dialogue, DRTV, digital, and direct mail. They will be encouraging regular monthly gifts or support via one of our main products such as general Regular Giving and Sponsorship, our Lottery, Value Exchange programme and other methods of committed giving as they arise.

About the organisation

The Environment Investigation Agency investigate and campaign against environmental crime and abuse. Their undercover investigations expose transnational wildlife crime, with a focus on elephants and tigers, and forest crimes such as illegal logging and deforestation for cash crops like palm oil. The EIA work to safeguard global marine ecosystems by addressing the threats posed by plastic pollution, bycatch and commercial exploitation of whales, dolphins and porpoises. The Role

The fundraising team at EIA, is responsible for raising income across trusts and statutory funders, as well as raising funds from individuals. The income raised from public fundraising has increased in recent years and they are investing in this area to further increase unrestricted income so that we can conduct even more investigative and campaigning work to protect our natural world.

It is an exciting time to join EIA, as we embark on a new organisational strategy and a new fundraising strategy. This role is crucial to our ambitious plans to step change our public fundraising and ensure the best possible experience for all of our supporters. Your work will help to ensure that our activities inspire the public to give generously to enable us to combat environmental crime and abuse around the world.

Responsibilities:

* Lead on the production of key supporter engagement pieces, the Year in Review and Supporter newsletters, including: curating the content, copywriting, data, as well as liaising with the mailing house and graphic designer.
* Plan, implement and evaluate digital and offline supporter-driven supporter journeys from all individual giving audiences, including appeals, digital, regular giving and the weekly lottery
* Work with the Senior Individual Giving Officer on the 40th anniversary supporter engagement activities
* Work closely with the Senior Individual Giving Officer, Supporter Services Officer and teams across the organisation (including the Communications and Campaign teams) to develop inspiring and targeted content and communications that increase engagement and lifetime value of supporters
* Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of supporter journeys
* Along with the Supporter Services Officer, be a key point of contact for supporters, ensuring that all supporters have a positive experience

New Supporter Acquisition

* Lead on all aspects of supporter acquisition through digital and telephone channels, ensuring that all campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and meet the campaign KPIs:
* Weekly Lottery acquisition campaigns - promoting to both new and existing supporters, to acquire new lottery players and raise regular income.
* Digital lead generation and acquisition campaigns - to recruit new cash and regular givers
* Telephone fundraising campaigns - to recruit new, and reactivate lapsed, regular giving supporters using leads from a variety of online and offline sources.
* Responsible for the end-to-end management of acquisition campaigns, from briefing internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, to developing creative and monitoring results and evaluating performance

Requirements:

* Demonstrable experience in an individual giving role in the charity sector
* End-to-end experience of creating successful direct marketing campaigns
* Excellent campaign management and planning skills

About the role 

As a Data Insight Analyst, you will assist in updating and creating PowerBI dashboards and apps. You will collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to gather requirements and develop reports that enable accessible monitoring of key metrics. As our current suite of dashboards need to be reworked, this role offers a good opportunity to shape a data visualisation project from start to finish, helping Crisis make evidence-based decisions in our pursuit to end homelessness.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills, particularly when it comes to conveying complex, quantitative information to a non-technical audience. You will be able to identify requirements and deliver synthesised findings in an accessible and engaging manner. Additionally, you will have technical experience in PowerBI and SQL, from querying relational databases to building impactful visualisations. 

You may also have experience working with Microsoft Dynamics, Azure SQL Database, website analytics, product analytics, customer analysis, digital analytics, Jira, data science, Tableau, Python/R or excel.

Team Management

The Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA) is the national charity for people affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom.

CLAPA supports people affected by cleft to take control of their journey, connect with others, and use their voices to impact the future of care. Our vision is that no one affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom will go through their journey alone.

We are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator (Individual Giving) to join our small but dynamic Fundraising team.

The role requires excellent donor care and stewardship skills. All forms of communication will be required including the proactive use of digital channels such as the website and social media platforms.

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a vital role in increasing income from our existing supporters. You will support donor acquisition as well as taking the lead on retention of our supporters across multiple channels including cash appeals, regular giving, lottery and in celebration giving. The role will also support the Head of Income in the delivery of a legacy and major donor program.

You will develop and deliver excellent stewardship programmes that drive retention by deepening audience understanding of the challenges that people affected by cleft face and the impact that their donations make. Using data and insight, you’ll deliver compelling campaigns, with people affected by cleft right at the centre. You’ll use creative tools and techniques to demonstrate impact and inspire future action.

The postholder will work alongside a fundraising marketing team working on our four key fundraising domains (acquisition marketing, retention marketing, church & community engagement, legacy & in memory fundraising) and will lead on developing new and existing campaigning initiatives, appeals and projects that will both integrate and fit alongside our other marketing activities.

Key areas of focus for the postholder would be:

• Generating and leading on the exploration of ideas for various advocacy marketing / movement-building activities
• Leading on new and existing advocacy marketing appeals and projects
• Lead on the monitoring of campaign and project performance including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Liaising with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders
