The role is offered on permanent, hybrid basis and is responsible for delivering the website strategy to support online presence, functionality and to grow digital performance. You will join the lively and passionate MarComms team, which is firmly integrated within our Fundraising Department, as the first point of contact for all website-related activity, advising teams and supporting campaign planning wherever website integration is required.

You will have experience in a similar role and hold in-depth knowledge and experience of current digital trends, tactics and strategy to be able to advise on digital approaches. The role

As Digital and Social Media Executive, you’ll have a broad and varied role, working with our Marketing and Digital Manager to develop and implement our digital and social media strategy at a critical time for the Football Foundation and for grassroots sports. Working within the Brand, Marketing and Communications Team, you’ll manage and maintain all our digital and social media channels and support the Marketing and Digital Manager in briefing agencies to create engaging content for our channels.

You’ll work with the wider team to plan impactful campaigns, and deliver the digital and social media elements and any email/CRM campaigns. You’ll also produce campaign analysis reports, including your insight, analytics and recommendations. Due to the breadth of the role and the variety of the projects, you can expect it to be an exciting role, with no two days the same.

What are we looking for?

We’d love to hear from you if you have extensive experience in a Digital Marketing role, with experience of delivering digital and social media campaigns. You’ll be knowledgeable and up to date on industry trends, with an understanding of how to use marketing techniques to increase the visibility, profile, and reputation of an organisation.

You’ll be really creative, but you’ll also be organised, flexible, able to manage competing demands, and be confident managing a diverse portfolio of projects. You’ll also have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with a broad range of people.

What can we offer you?

The salary band for this role is £35,000 - £39,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

You’ll start on 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases after 2 years), plus additional time off to volunteer. As the social media officer, you’ll help manage an audience of more than 200,000 people across X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube. We are looking for social media officer to support the Health Equals team to deliver an exciting programme of campaigning work.

The post holder will play a crucial role in helping Health Equals to build its online presence and following, supporting its objective to raise awareness of how our health is shaped by the building blocks of health. Duties and Key relationships Marketing and Communications

This is a new role in the Marketing and Communications department and is responsible for the media relations of the Charity.  

PR and Media Relations

• To develop relevant media contacts, as well as contacts in the sector, to maximise the reach and coverage of key communications campaigns as well as wider organisational projects.

• Produce creative copy written for a variety of audience groups which champions and shows best practice of our tone of voice

• Develop and support in house PR roll out

· Work with external PR agency on selected press releases where relevant

· Write press releases in line with campaign launches and key moments

· Develop pitches and news stories and other promotional copy.

· Lead on media briefings that convey appropriate key messages and prepare spokespeople

· Identify and interview case studies and media spokespeople

· Pull together monthly Data Analysis reports with the support of the Marketing and Communications Manager

· Send out weekly coverage reports with the Digital Marketing Officer, monitor external activity (including competitor) and incorporate best practice.

· Analyse reports to identify new opportunities and act up to grow presence in national press by identifying proactive and reactive media opportunities.

· Be part of out-of-hours weekend monitoring rota

Communications

• Maintain the communications calendar

• Research, write and distribute media outreach activities such as press releases, media comments, media briefs, features, blogs and letters to editors

• Be the first point of contact for media enquiries and manage the press office function in a timely manner.

• Maintain library system for press cuttings, monitor cuttings and report on results

• Lead on gathering powerful stories that highlight the impact of childhood cancer on the lives of children, young people and families

• Work closely with the fundraising and digital teams to coordinate and respond to the different needs for case studies

• Maintain a detailed and GDPR compliant contact management system of all case studies

• Work closely with the Digital Team to ensure that all campaigns and content produced is reflected on the website and across social media accounts

Families

• Maintain relationships with current patient families who are sharing their cancer journey stories with the media.

• Produce stories of patient families and share online and social media

• Work with a diverse range of case studies and media spokespeople and ensure they are treated in an appropriate and safe manner.

• Be key spokesperson for families media storytelling

JOB PURPOSE

This role will support the planning and delivery of digital projects and campaigns that aim to raise awareness of the Start Network, build engagement across membership and support the Start team to work in effective ways. The postholder will create, edit and share digital content, manage online communities and will support the planning, development, maintenance and management of digital platforms.

The post-holder will produce and edit a wide range of digital content, including written content and digital media. The post-holder will also support the day-to-day engagement of stakeholders on digital platforms, such as social media, collaboration platforms and other engagement tools. The post-holder will have a good knowledge of best practise in digital while being able to use data to evidence the effectiveness of content and campaigns.

The post-holder will also manage or support new digital developments, such as data visualisation, that will increase stakeholder engagement in our work. Working closely with stakeholders and colleagues, the post holder will support projects to ensure they meet business and audience needs and that they are delivered on time and on budget.

This role will also coordinate third party suppliers in this process.

This role will be full time, based in the UK or another country of Start Network’s operations with occasional travel required.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

COMMUNITIES AND CONTENT

• Coordinate the day-to-day communications of Start Network programmes on social media channels. Take part in planning and coordination of content for all social media channels, in line with digital engagement strategy.

• Create and share multimedia content for social media and website (such as gifs, images and video) to build engagement with audiences around the world. Collaborate with Graphic Designer, Communications Officer and external agencies and freelancers in production of high quality content, in line with Start Network’s brand guidelines.

• Manage day to day interaction with online communities (including social media, internal and member communities), track engagement, respond to enquiries and generate conversation.

• Advise colleagues on how to use and manage social media and digital communities for greatest impact – Work with the Digital Manager and Communications Manager to deliver training for staff, introducing new platforms and digital tools to the team.

• To assist with the marketing and promotion of Start Network’s content across the website, newsletters and social media channels and to contribute to Start Network’s marketing strategy as required.

DIGITAL PLATFORMS AND WEBSITE

• Work together with the Digital Manager to manage the development of digital platforms, working with internal colleagues and external developers to identify and deliver a range of projects.

• Maintain website content day-to-day, publishing news and blogs, resources, events and updating landing pages. Working with teams across the organisation on updating all pages regularly.

• Make changes to the website based on data, audience, (UX) and expert research to improve accessibility, search engine optimisation (SEO) and the overall experience of our users.

• Maintain the Start Network website day-to-day, identifying bugs, escalating internally and working with the developers to deliver solutions. Provide website, social media and newsletter activity reports and statistics and evaluate them in conjunction with the Communications Officer.

• Maintain a Digital Asset Management system Canto; collating and storing photos and sourcing appropriate stock images.

• Support the day-to-day delivery of digital projects fulfilling the organisations communications and digital objectives. These might include development of maps or other data visualisation tools and microsites. 

• Support effective development and use of internal platforms, Including our data management and CRM platform (Salesforce), and document management tool (Box) while maintaining high standards of data security and privacy.

• Ensure inspirational, informative and educational content for Start Network and its key programmes is shared regularly through the Start Network website and other digital channels, including e-newsletters and social media.

• Work with colleagues and members to edit high quality content in a variety of media, including photography, design, animation and video content.

• Contribute to building a strong organisational digital culture, design and support training delivery to all staff.

• Work together with the colleagues from the Communications team to provide advice and support to colleagues to raise the quality and effectiveness of content across the Network, through templates, guidance and training.

• Together with Events Coordinator and Digital Manager, provide technical support to online events, meetings and webinars.

• Manage the digital inbox and ensure enquiries are dealt with swiftly.

About the opportunity
As our Digital Marketing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Marketing Manager and broader team in volunteer and school recruitment efforts, while managing our social media presence. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and curating content for Action Tutoring's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok.

In addition to social media management, you will contribute to the creation of diverse content, such as graphics, videos, and photography, with occasional visits to our school programmes and events. Duties and responsibilities
• Responsibility for managing Action Tutoring’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube). · Managing the relationship with our website development agency. Making recommendations for areas of improvement and further development.

· Managing our analytics and other insight platforms to ensure that we collect robust data and can make informed, evidence-based recommendations to ensure we’re using digital to deliver against the Foundation’s strategic objectives.

· Support and develop the implementation of an SEO strategy for our website content to ensure that our audiences can find our content.

About this role

The Digital Acquisition Officer is a key member of the Mass Engagement team and part of the wider Development team. The Mass Engagement team exists to raise awareness of Reprieve’s work, shift public opinion and to inspire support. Your role will be to engage members of the public, grow the Reprieve’s community and help establish our supporter base.

It is an exciting time for our team, as we launch their first mass engagement strategy to promote the long-term growth of the programme. Digital fundraising boomed between 2020 and 2021 but has faced challenges in 2022 and 2023. As we launch our new strategy, we are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual, keen to try new things and learn through testing, excited about communicating Reprieve’s work to our supporters and inspiring them to donate.

You will be key to the acquisition of new supporters, leading on developing and managing lead generation across our platforms, building paid for and organic content, and developing new and innovative ways to engage supporters with the support of the Head of Digital and Mass Engagement.

As a small team we have a collaborative and “all hands on deck” approach, ready to step in and support each other. This means at times you will support on our retention and stewardship work, as well as helping the wider Development Team when needed.

You will share our commitment to fighting racism and advancing racial justice, as well as help craft comms that can take supporters with us on this work whilst ensuring we do this in a way that does not compound racist structures.

Purpose of the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager will implement and help develop a new digital marketing strategy, crucial to the ongoing development of ArtsEd’s profile and reputation and the successful delivery of all our programmes.

Understanding the needs of current and prospective students and pupils and their parents, and being able to identify digital plans and initiatives which will enable ArtsEd to meet both the long and short-term needs is a central aspect of the role.

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead in the planning and implementation of digitally creative and customer focused campaigns and will be responsible for the achievement of student and pupil recruitment targets. They will work closely with senior staff and the rest of the Marketing team to deliver highly effective experiences to all stakeholders and potential stakeholders.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the continuing development of ArtsEd’s online profile amongst all of our target audiences, including high-level industry connections, potential supporters and the local community, alongside potential students, pupils and parents.

In addition, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring that ArtsEd’s messaging is consistent, innovative and compelling across all platforms.

Digital Marketing

• Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns in collaboration with the wider marketing team.
• Use digital marketing expertise to create effective user funnels to optimise conversion rates, tracking user behaviour in order to refine processes.

• Collaborate closely with staff across the organisation to identify storytelling opportunities to ensure a full understanding of ArtsEd’s broad range of target audiences.

• Set up digital advertising campaigns through Meta, Google Ads and other platforms

• Utilise excellent graphic design skills to collaborate with the team on the design and delivery of different digital campaigns for all stakeholder groups. This will include mass e-mails, social media posts and digital collateral as required.
• Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
• Monitor social media communications (both comments on posts and direct messages) and respond in a timely and appropriate manner.

Design & Brand

• Be a guardian of the ArtsEd brand, ensuring correct and effective use of our branding and house style both internally and externally.
• Ensure all digital information is accurate, up to date and relevant.
• Ensure ArtsEd embraces and celebrates diversity and inclusion through all digital marketing touchpoints.
• Develop and manage image library including liaising with relevant staff to select images, co-ordinating in-house photography and film requirements, up-dating plasma screen and fulfilling external requests for images.

Graphic Design

• Create print and digital advertising material using Canva or similar software.
• Design and create in-house digital signage and support the Marketing Officer where needed.
• Support the print production process, liaising with printers and publications, proof reading and adapting print collateral as required.

Recruitment

• Lead on the implementation and delivery of a robust digital marketing strategy to optimise student and pupil recruitment across the whole organisation. This will include:
• Building on existing digital activity to maximise its reach and impact against all of our target audiences, including digital and associated print advertising.
• Managing an associated  programme of recruitment focused events and activities, both virtual and face-to-face, to raise our profile and to maximise our enquires, registrations, applications and acceptances across all of our activities.
• Supporting the relevant teams in the delivery of this programme, which will include existing activity e.g. Day School and Sixth Form Open Days, degree audition days and our outreach programme.
• To programme our email marketing conversion communication using software Mailer Lite/MailChimp
• Overseeing the production of all marketing collateral.

Social Media

• Overseeing the planning and delivery of a social media plan that aligns with and enhances all strands of the marketing and communications strategy
• Create engaging and content drive social media assets.
• Oversee and a schedule the delivery of day-to-day social media content
• Work with the marketing officer to Launch as short form video content strategy for all platforms with aligns with the Marketing and organisations strategy.

Website

• Manage through line managed staff all aspects of the ArtsEd website, ensuring that it remains relevant to all users at all times. This will include:-
• Ensuring factual content is kept up-to-date, imagery and video is regularly refreshed and that the overall site reflects ArtsEd’s unique offer.
• Identifying opportunities to create and update brand focused content

Market Analysis/Planning

• Review and analysis of data to identify competitor tactics, market trends, new opportunities and challenges.

• Complete quarterly digital impact reports

About the role

This is an exciting time to join Young Lives vs Cancer as we set up a new Brand Marketing and Communications function including a team of digital experts.

We are looking to recruit two Digital Marketing Officers to join the newly created Digital Engagement team working to deliver exceptional digital activity that delivers against organisational objectives. One successful candidate will lead on supporting social channels and the other on email marketing, however both roles will be expected to work across all digital channels and cover for each other as necessary.

You will work on digital campaigns across email, organic social and paid digital marketing channels, including PPC and social media. This role will be vital in setting up a new digital hub of expertise within the organisation and helping to drive forward the best use of digital channels.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work with stakeholder teams to develop digital marketing campaigns across paid, earned and owned channels delivering against KPI’s for income, campaigning and brand awareness.

Having been through a period of growth, our small team is expanding! You will lead on content for our website, newsletter and social media channels, helping us to reach new audiences and translate complex ideas into accessible and engaging short videos, infographics and other images.
