To support Board succession planning, we are seeking to appoint new trustees with experience and skills such as:
· Lived experience: we are particularly looking to hear the voice of young people on our Board and especially those with lived experience of children and young people’s support services. We will provide the necessary training, mentoring and support to fulfil the role.
· Fundraising/marketing: this trustee will bring a clear understanding of best practice in fundraising and/or marketing.

Main Duties

- Listing, describing and boxing records.

Pain Concern is a charity providing information and support to people with pain and those who care for them, whether family, friends or healthcare professionals. Purpose of Volunteer Role
This role supports our aim in delivering pain education in our communities and providing access to high quality resources to those who may not have digital access. As an ambassador you will provide tailored information on pain management services available in the local health board area and Signpost to any other support services in the community. Promote the concept of supported self-management as a recommended, effective intervention for chronic pain. Help make a difference to people living with pain by providing a powerful platform to hear the views and experiences for the all too often, voiceless patients. Due to the nature of the role, successful applicants will be required to undertake a PVG check.

It is an exciting but testing time at TOP UK and we have just launched an ambitious three-year strategy. Demand for our service is at an all-time high and continues to grow, currently dramatically outstripping our capacity. The Communications Volunteer will write and coordinate our external communications. This includes CAW’s regular newsletter, stories and general information on our website, and campaign and research pieces. You will work alongside both our Research and Campaigns volunteers and key staff members.
• Work closely with our advice, partnership and community outreach team members to identify stories, case studies, advice and volunteering opportunities to promote
• Have the opportunity to write a regular newsletter for community partners and stakeholders to promote the work of Citizens Advice Westminster
• Produce short copy to promote our services for a variety of sources including our website and social media
• Explore and pilot new ways to promote our services to Westminster residents who currently don’t use our services, including through digital media
