The Communications Assistant will be an integral role in the communications directorate, supporting the Director and teams to deliver on ambitious objectives. We’re looking for an organised self-starter with good writing skills, who can turn their hand to event organisation, support with our publications and a variety of communications tasks, as well as offering support to the Communications Director and Heads of Teams. 

You’ll be calm, have good administrative skills, adept at plate spinning and able to manage a varied workload, whilst learning huge amounts about communications and customer engagement. Charity People are partnering with a local community charity in North West London to help in their search for a passionate Digital Fundraising and Marketing Manager.

Based on St. Raphael's Estate, this charity aims to prevent hunger, fight poverty and build community. Working with families living in poverty, asylum seekers and refugees, and people experiencing homelessness and social isolation, they coordinate a network of food banks, kitchens, a community shop and café. Experience

The Role

Job Purpose:

• Manage the digital assets of Islamic Relief UK, particularly the website, ensuring that it operates in an optimal manner.

About you

To excel in this role, you will need:
