You'll work within the Training and Consultancy team to deliver both in person and online training to predominantly education professionals, with the primary purpose of delivering and expanding on AET (Autism Education Trust) training contracts.
You'll possess sound knowledge and expertise in the field of autism and education, specialising in delivering training and knowledge to support autistic young people. You'll support both education setting and organisations to become autism confident, providing interactive, captivating training both in-person and virtually.
You'll provide consultancy services to education setting to include advising on practice and policy, complete workplace assessments and support in achieving autism confidence. You'll contribute to the creation and delivery of digital learning content to be utilised by external organisations, including employers and corporate clients, health and social care and education sectors.

- Substantial experience of delivering training to professionals, parents and other audiences.
- Knowledge and understanding of the challenges faced by professionals working in schools.
- Experience of working with autistic young people, parents/carers and employers.

Main Purpose of the Role
The Media, Production and Sound Technician is a key role within the Creative and Worship teams, with responsibility for the provision of sound, visual and technical support for St Stephen’s Worship, Communications and Media production ministry.
Key objectives
· To enable the church’s worship through excellent sound, visual, staging and production of all services and special events (including online).
· To continuously recruit, train, oversee and support volunteer teams for sound, lighting and VPS.
· To have a vision for enabling worship which flows from your own living faith in Jesus.
· To help inspire a culture of creative worship and prayer at St Stephen’s.
· To oversee the maintenance of worship equipment (inc. organ and piano tuning), liaising with external contractors as needed.
· Encourage, equip and develop worship beyond Sundays (special services, events, Seasons)
· Oversee the provision of sound and visuals at weddings, funerals etc.

HR & Operations
● Manage Coney’s operations, resources and materials to ensure our activities and processes are high-quality, fit for purpose and well-managed.

● Oversee Coney’s remote-working and office systems, including IT systems, schedules and other resources, ensuring that they are fit for purpose and cost-effective.
● Manage Coney’s statutory obligations with Companies House, the Charities Commission and other bodies and regulatory authorities, with support from the Directors.
● Maintain regular communication with Coney’s Trustees, ensuring that Board meetings, minutes, reports and information are prepared effectively and on time.
Financial
● Manage Coney’s day-to-day financial systems, including making bank payments and managing invoices receivable, supported by the Marketing & Admin Officer.
● Reconcile Coney’s bank accounts and input all financial activity into Quickbooks (including income & expenditure, credit cards, expenses, invoices payable, payments received) against the correct budget lines.
● Run payroll (including sending payslips and other pay documents, scheduling salary payments and reporting to HMRC) and ensure pensions, PAYE taxes and National Insurance are calculated and paid on time.
● Create and submit quarterly VAT returns using Quickbooks
Stakeholder Management & Fundraising
● Work alongside the JCEOs to maintain high level contact and dialogue with Coney’s key stakeholders.
● Manage Coney’s Friends scheme and support effective communication with funders.
● Alongside the rest of the core team, identify opportunities for fundraising, commercial projects and consultancy, building relationships and contributing to funding proposals as required.
Marketing & Communications
● Support the Marketing & Admin Officer and Executive Programme Director / JCEO to prepare and execute a marketing and communications plan – strategically positioning Coney’s work across communities and sectors.
● Support the Marketing & Admin Officer to ensure regular communication with Coney networks (newsletters, social media and other relationships) and produce effective communication and ticketing systems for events and projects as required.

About the role
We have a new and exciting opportunity to work with us as an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Manager (External) to provide continuity while our EDI Strategy Lead is on maternity leave. Reporting to the Executive Director, Impact and working with key stakeholders and colleagues across the whole organisation, you will help ensure alignment between our external For Everyone Strategic Framework and our new organisational strategy. Mile End Climbing Wall (MECW) is the trading name of the charity Development through Challenge (DtC).
Development through Challenge started life as a charity called North London Rescue Commando (NLRC), set up when London was at threat of flood. They moved to the current site from North London, where they had started as a small water sports centre. In the mid-1980s a change in focus led to the formation of Mile End Climbing Wall. It became the climbing wall in London and one of the first climbing walls in England. In 1997 NLRC changed its name to Development through Challenge.
Since then, we have been providing East London and UK climbing communities with high quality climbing and associated facilities that are available to everyone regardless of ability to pay, physical ability, or skill-level. We organise training and challenges that improve people’s wellbeing.
Responsible to the Operations Manager, this position will work with the Senior Managers, Trustees and CEO, to deliver the strategic plan for marketing and communications and manage their operational implementation - including on and offline campaigns, internal and external communications, publications, digital activities, events and PR to raise awareness of brand and reputation and maximise customer and community engagement.
