About the role

This pivotal role will see you help deliver the Individual Giving (IG) and Retention strategies, working with colleagues across teams in IG to increase lifetime value of cash, regular giving and lottery supporters and collaborating with peers and Heads of team. Introduction

Reporting into the Head of Planning & Delivery, this role is the central link between our reactive and planned reactive teams and the rest of the organisation, in particular Country Comms, Policy & Advocacy, and Campaign & Mobilisation teams. It is responsible for making sure all our reactive and planned-reactive comms are managed and delivered across appropriate owned and earned channels.? Strategic Communications colleagues, Media and PR teams, Delivery Managers, key stakeholders across the organisation, and our Content & Creative teams will be your day to day partners.

This role needs to be collaborative, resilient and able to adapt quickly to new information and shifting priorities, understanding when decisions are needed and making sure the right people are involved. Comfortable working in a fast moving environment, collaborating with colleagues across the RSPB and acting as a conduit to keep all teams and stakeholders informed, this role needs to maintain a broad view of activities on all comms channels so that changes can quickly be updated and communicated to the wider group.

This role is required to support the work of the Campaign & Mobilisation team, by delivering reactive and planned reactive one-off emails and/or website updates. This means you will need to be comfortable switching between different ways of working (agile and waterfall) and be able to prioritise your own workload effectively. You will be taking briefs from Activity Owners and managing the delivery work, working closely with our Traffic Management and Content & Creative teams.

This role is expected to be a key part of our planning cycle, making sure our activities across channels are coordinated and aligned. • Writing delivery briefs, keeping all Activity Owners updated about decisions and progress for reactive and planned-reactive comms, and making sure our Content & Creative teams have the information they need to deliver work.

About the PVRI
We’re a small charity with a global reach and an important purpose: to reduce the burden of pulmonary vascular disease (PVD) - a serious condition that can lead to heart damage and trigger symptoms like breathlessness, chest pain, fatigue, poor growth, fainting, and light-headedness. PVD can reduce both quality of life and length of life, but it isn’t widely recognised or well-understood.

Our aim is to improve clinical care, education, and PVD research. To do this, we bring together an international network of thousands of clinicians, scientists, academics, and industry partners supported by our small team based in Bermondsey, London. Together, we deliver conferences, e-learning, and an academic journal, raise awareness of PVD, and encourage collaboration in research.

About the role
We are seeking a Marketing Officer to help grow and service the charity's profile and international membership, increase the value of our membership offer, increase our income generation, work with the team to run successful events, and deliver our e-learning programmes. You’ll help ensure our members are informed about the latest developments and learning opportunities, and they’re valued for their contributions to the PVRI. No two days are the same. One day, you might be writing content for our website and social media channels, and the next, you might be welcoming respected speakers and attendees from over 30 countries to our scientific webinar.

We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. You’ll need to create successful marketing plans and grow our membership. You will also bring excellent organisational skills and the ability to co-ordinate high-quality webinars.

As Head of Communications, you’ll lead our communications function at a strategic level, inspiring and influencing how we share our story with the world. Key Responsibilities

• You will provide strategic leadership for all communications activity across the charity, working closely with colleagues to develop and deliver multidisciplinary communications plans that support corporate objectives. You will be responsible for evaluating communications performance, reporting against KPIs, and using data to drive improvement. You’ll play a key role in horizon-scanning and forward planning, ensuring our messaging is proactive and responsive to external developments.

• You’ll oversee all of Pact’s digital platforms, including our social media channels and websites, as well as those for the Prisoners’ Families Helpline. • A core part of the role will involve amplifying the voices of people with lived experience. You’ll oversee the regular generation of powerful case studies and service user stories to be shared across internal and external channels, always ensuring ethical and inclusive storytelling.

• You’ll also contribute to the planning and promotion of key organisational events, including staff and volunteer gatherings, stakeholder roundtables and receptions.

Person Specification

• You will have significant experience in a senior communications, PR or marketing leadership role, with a proven ability to develop and evaluate impactful strategies. You’ll be an exceptional communicator with a keen eye for storytelling and audience engagement, and you’ll have experience managing digital platforms and growing audiences through content innovation.

• Strong leadership and team management skills are essential, as is a collaborative, facilitative approach that brings out the best in others. You’ll need to be a confident relationship-builder, able to influence at senior levels and build trust with stakeholders, media, and partners.

• Ideally, you will bring experience or understanding of the voluntary, criminal justice or social justice sectors. Working as part of a new in-house team, you will use a range of communications and marketing channels to spread key messages among communities and affect behaviours among target demographics. The Jewish Museum London has undergone substantial positive change over the past two years, moving out of our Camden site and moving to a ‘Museum without Walls’ model. With new leadership installed at both lay and staff levels and a consultation process underway for the development of a five and fifteen-year strategy the Museum is looking for a new member of the team to assist in running the day-to-day administration of the organisation.

Our museum is made up of passionate and expert staff and a collection of over 40,000 objects which are both accredited and designated with Outstanding status by Arts Council England. Our learning programmes hold multiple awards, and our visitor feedback is consistently very high, however, we have much bigger ambitions than our current success. The Museum is looking to expand, in space, in profile and in audience reach.
