Job Summary
As part of a wider Mission and Ministry Team, the Mission and Discipleship Trainer will equip and support lay ministers and all interested learners in their theological understanding, spiritual growth, and practical ministry skills. They will contribute to the teaching and worship life of the diocese, engaging with a breadth of Anglican traditions.There are three key aspects of the responsibilities in this role.
- The first is, in communication with the Mission and Discipleship Enabler, to develop more contextual and locally based training contexts for existing and emerging learning and training programmes to facilitate more accessibility for parishes and benefices for which the diocesan offices are less accessible. This will involve working with strategic places identified in the South, Southwest, and North of the diocese to implement the vision to establish ‘satellite’ training centres. Initially this will focus on BPP (Bishop’s Permission to Preach); BCM programmes (Bishop’s Commission for Mission); and introductory theology and discipleship programmes.
- The second is promoting discipleship and ministerial training through networking and intentional communications to accelerate efforts being made to equip a broader demographic of Christians with leadership skills in view of the diocesan and national Church of England vision and values to become ‘younger and more diverse’. This will involve working collaboratively with the Mission and Discipleship Enabler, the Young Vocations Team (team under development), and the Racial Justice Advisor, alongside other team members and also work with clergy to understand specific contexts of training needs arising. Success in promotions and ‘recruitment’ of more diverse Christians will require working with the COMs team to support effective use of social media to target younger audiences, facilitate fast updates of events, and identify opportunities for story sharing.
- Thirdly, there is a responsibility to oversee, grow, and develop the network of Children, Youth and Families ministers/workers. This will include responsibility for organising, hosting and, where appropriate, delivering training at these events, and overseeing the BCM in Children, Youth and Families work. Part of the work will also be to support specific CYF workers including, where helpful, visiting them on site to encourage and advise them in their work and put them in communication with the network for mutual ongoing support. It will involve keeping up to date with the national initiatives for CYF to facilitate a connected approach. An important development in this aspect of the role will be to help implement a vision for more collaborative work with the Education Team to promote and help facilitate close working between churches and schools across the diocese.
Key role requirements:
This is an office-based role, with the expectation to work for 2-3 days per week from home. The role will involve travel across the diocese, with occasional evening and weekend commitments.
About you: We are seeking someone who can demonstrate the following background and experience:
- A BA (Hons) or equivalent in theology is essential. An MA or higher degree in theology is desirable. Excellent level of English both spoken and written.
- Demonstrated success in training, and supporting volunteer teams is essential.
- Experience in developing and maintaining digital learning environments and online resources is essential.
- Track record of evaluating learning outcomes and adapting training approaches based on participant feedback.
- Experience in teaching theology and facilitating worship across diverse Anglican traditions.

Role Purpose
As Head of Fundraising, you will be responsible for generating sustainable income through our fundraising activities, along with ensuring that Beaumond House is continuously building strong relationships with our supporters, local businesses and wider community as part of our income generation strategy.
You will lead and support the Beaumond House fundraising team in developing sustainable income to help ensure our charitable work continues to make an impact in Newark and Sherwood for future generations.
Main Duties
- Responsible for devising, implementing, and developing innovative fundraising activity plans to ensure dependable sources of income for now and in the future.
- Work with your team, to build long-lasting relationships with our supporters, volunteers, businesses, grant makers and wider community.
- Manage the fundraising team operations and plan day-to-day activities.
- Ensure that all fundraising activity and donor communications is compliant and to best practice, keeping up to date with latest fundraising regulations.
- Work closely with senior leadership team, in particular Head of Retail and Head of Care to ensure joined-up fundraising campaigns are in place across the organisation.
- Working closely with Head of Finance to ensure all income is correctly categorised and allocated.
- Be responsible for ensuring donor data and relationship management communications are correctly populated within CRM system.
- Oversee our presence across online platforms, ensuring alignment with campaign goals and Beaumond House brand.
- Continuously track and report fundraising performance and budgets to Director of Income Generation and CEO, producing monthly and ad-hoc reports to support strategic decision making.
- Support in developing future strategies for income generation.
Operational and Management Duties
- Responsible line management of the Fundraising team, holding team-wide meetings, 1-2-1 sessions, annual appraisals and development plans. Creating a positive working environment within the department to enable all members of the team are productive and motivated.
- Mentor and coach members of the team, identify and support with development needs in team knowledge or experience, offering support and best practice advice.
- Delivering a tactical programme to ensure the successful implementation of fundraising plans and strategy, supporting each member of the fundraising team to meet their targets.
- Identify and clarify relationship overlaps between fundraising team members to ensure clarity for donors and supporters.
- Get involved and support the team with fundraising activities as required. Such as attending fundraising events and activities outside normal working hours, weekends and Bank Holidays when required.
- Support and encourage the team in working effectively with volunteers. Ensuring volunteers have purpose, feel valued, well supported and part of the Beaumond House team.

- Ensure that every activity adheres to the health and safety procedures and guidelines, including carrying out risk assessments in line with policy.

Strategic Support
- Maintain and build on the established brand of Beaumond House, maximising opportunities with local communities and outlets.

- Champion innovation in income generation, identify emerging trends in philanthropy, digital fundraising and donor engagement.
- Prepare detailed income and expenditure forecasts and project schedules in line with the organisation’s objectives.
- Support in the development of future strategic projects and priorities with Senior Leadership Team.
- Prepare reports on fundraising performance for board and sub-committees as required.
Administration Duties
- Take responsibility for own administration, always completing to the highest and most thorough standards.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records using agreed systems, such as Xero, Beacon CRM and MS Office 365. Use these to set up and run reports to provide information.
- Support directly or via signposting for IT queries eg. Use of MS 365, Beacon CRM, Gift Aid.

Essential
1. Significant experience (minimum 5+ years) in strategic leadership roles in large fundraising organisations.

The Jewish Museum London has undergone substantial positive change over the past two years, moving out of our Camden site and moving to a ‘Museum without Walls’ model. With new leadership installed at both lay and staff levels and a consultation process underway for the development of a five and fifteen-year strategy the Museum is looking for a new member of the team to assist in running the day-to-day administration of the organisation.

The Trustees of The Pixel Fund are excited to appoint the Fund’s first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to oversee the next stage of its growth and development following further generous bequests by the Trust’s settlors, and with planned increases in the level of future grant-making.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a dynamic individual who has the skills, experience and aptitude to work with the Trustees to refine and support delivery of The Pixel Fund’s overall vision and strategy, and to be the public face of the charity.The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the charity, currently carried out by a part-time administrator, which position is to be discontinued following the CEO appointment.
We are looking for an individual with experience of working in a leadership role with a board of Trustees, ideally with hands-on experience in grant-making and grant management, including managing a portfolio of live grant-holders.Strong financial and budgetary management skills are also desirable, in particular to reduce the Charity’s reliance on the Voluntary Treasurer.
The Trustees wish to appoint an individual who has a demonstrable understanding of, and commitment to, supporting the mental health and wellbeing of Children and Young People.The role will include upholding the charity’s vision, values and strategic focus, including championing equality, diversity and inclusion across our work.
The appointment is currently offered on a part-time basis of 3 days per week, with the potential to be extended in future.Candidates should note that The Pixel Fund does not have a permanent base and almost all activity is conducted online (including grant management).
Hours and place of work are flexible, but as all Trustees are based in the South-East of England, that location is desirable. The successful applicant will be required to attend all Trustee meetings (around 7 a year), which are generally held in the evening (usually online, but occasionally in person) and some travel will be necessary to visit grant holders and other stakeholders.

The Pixel Fund (Charitable Incorporated Organisation No. 1191052) is a small charity that makes grants to support improvement in the mental health and wellbeing of Children and Young People.Since we were first established in 2011, we have distributed more than £1.5million to UK registered charities.We have a preference for supporting projects, but do also fund core costs.The work of the Trust, including all grant-making, is currently overseen by three experienced Trustees, together with a Voluntary Treasurer and a part-time Administrator.

Trust fundraising at Battersea has grown significantly over the past few years, from £1m in 2022 to £2.75m in 2025. Working closely with the Trusts Officer and Trusts Lead, you will secure vital funding from Trusts and Foundations to support the welfare of dogs and cats across the UK and internationally.
As the Trusts Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of five-figure Trust donors and take ownership of relationships to secure funding from both existing and new supporters. You will also support the Trusts Officer to deliver bi-annual Small Trusts Mailings and the Trusts Lead to deliver significant partnerships.
You will be proactive and motivated, with a passion for animal welfare and an aptitude for building relationships. You are a strong communicator with excellent writing skills which will enable you - with support from the team - to craft compelling funding proposals that resonate with donors.

SCOPE OF WORK
1. Grantmaking Due Diligence & Onboarding
-
Coordinate the collection, review, and secure storage of due diligence documentation from prospective grantees.

Assist with risk screening checks and internal reviews in alignment with Purposeful’s grantmaking policies.
-
Prepare grantee onboarding documentation, including grant agreements and orientation materials.
-
Track submission of required onboarding documents (e.g., bank forms, MoUs, safeguarding policies).
-
Monitor and keep track of the grants due for payment.
-
Respond to grantee and applicant inquiries and proactively update them on the status of their grant awards.
2. Grant Compliance & Documentation
-
Monitor compliance status of all active grants, flagging outstanding requirements and follow-up needs.

Ensure that compliance-related deadlines (e.g. reporting dates, grant conditions) are met and documented.

Maintain clean, well-organised, and accessible digital grant files, using existing tools or systems (e.g., Google Drive, Netsuite, Salesforce, etc.) to ease retrieval and generation of reports.

Support internal checks to ensure that funds are disbursed in line with compliance protocols and funding agreements.
3. Finance Coordination

Liaise with the finance team to prepare and verify payment documents, banking instructions, and payment schedules.

Support alignment between grant budgets and payment disbursements.

Track the movement of funds across grants, ensuring appropriate documentation is in place for each transaction.
4. Donor & Internal Reporting

Assist in preparing compliance-related sections of donor reports and internal grantmaking summaries.

Track reporting obligations by donor or partner, and ensure all documentation is collected and filed on time, including any relevant country-specific compliance requirements.
5. Audit & Policy Support
-
Prepare documentation for internal and external audits, including sampling, document summaries, and data extractions.

Assist in developing and maintaining internal tools (templates, checklists, trackers) related to grant compliance.

Contribute to ongoing improvements in Purposeful’s compliance systems, bringing in lessons learned and audit feedback, and emerging regulatory or legal considerations relevant to our work.
