This Organic Social Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day management of UNICEF UK’s organic social media content and channels.
You will manage the overall organic social calendar, including planning, briefing content, and publishing to drive engagement and awareness. You will also be responsible for delivering bespoke projects and cross-organisational campaigns and represent the team in cross-organisational working groups and meetings, providing strategic and creative insight, recommendations, and advice on how best to achieve results using Organic Social to reach and engage audiences and achieve objectives.
You’ll have a strong understanding of Organic Social Media including experience in risk management and mitigation in the social space, with strong awareness of how audiences use channels. Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for the end-to-end management of the Legacy Marketing Programme, including Gifts in Wills

Overview
High energy costs are a nightmare for millions of UK households, while huge profits are made at our expense. Poor housing and heating systems are a key part of the problem, along with dependence on polluting, climate-changing fossil fuels. FPA is a campaigning organisation that sets out to attack the root causes of fuel poverty along with the specific injustices facing people and communities. We want to see the UK’s energy system decarbonised as rapidly as possible, with a just transition for communities and workers.that includes affordability.
Working closely with pensioners groups, trades unions, disabled campaigners, tenants’ organisations and others on the frontline of fuel poverty, we’re using protest and direct action to fight for real, sustainable solutions to the cold homes crisis. We are looking for a committed senior organiser, who shares our passion and values, to bring energy and imagination to developing our base and supporting our members to build their power.
About the role
Fuel Poverty Action (FPA) was started in 2011 by climate activists who wanted to ensure that the green energy transition doesn’t happen at the expense of those with less social and economic power. Rather, they saw the break with fossil fuels as an opportunity to end the scourge of fuel poverty in the UK - a chance to rethink priorities and design inequality out of the energy system.
Immediately, they were drawn into community-based struggles for energy justice, against false, profit-driven solutions and maladministration of ‘green’ measures with no accountability to tenants and residents.
Over the years others joined the fight, growing FPA to a small membership-led organisation comprising people at the sharp end of fuel poverty - people of all ages and backgrounds, mainly located in London. Since 2022, funding has enabled us to employ a small, dispersed team who are accountable to directors and a membership that is now UK-wide.
We are now looking for an experienced, senior organiser to help FPA grow and evolve our membership network further. We want to reach more people and support members to be active within FPA so that we can build our political impact and remain meaningfully member-led.
We are seeking a flexible person with significant leadership experience who will be confident working as part of a small team, capable of outward facing work and internal management. You will have experience of organising in collective campaigns, including digitally, and a background in grassroots or community-based action, with a strong commitment to inclusive and anti-oppressive practice.
As the Organising Lead, you will join our Campaigns Lead and Operations Lead as the third pillar of our self-managing Coordination Team. While line-managing other colleagues and enabling the contributions of members who are unpaid, you will yourself be a member of FPA, and answerable to the group.
We use the digital platform Action Network to run campaigns and communicate with FPA supporters. Our ideal candidate would have the skills to incorporate ladders, tags and custom fields into our digital campaigns to maximise online to offline impact and convert list growth into membership. They would also actively maintain relationships with existing members who are not always confident with online communication tools.
There is a lot of scope to bring new ideas and perspectives to shape our work.

Strategy development: Leading on creation of a new membership growth and retention strategy in collaboration with existing members
Growing our base: Boosting in-person recruitment and using Action Network to build a digital pipeline into membership

Member development: Building one-to-one relationships with members, understanding their interests, linking them to opportunities and providing feedback and follow-up

Speaker invitations: Representing FPA at events and in media as well as supporting members to do so
Capacity building and training: Providing tools, advice and training to members and supporters, including to FPA’s local groups in Glasgow, Manchester and London

Compensation Policy
We’ll compensate team members on the following basis:

All salaried team members are contracted on the same terms and conditions

The Partnership Builders Community (PB Community) App is designed to connect, support, and engage members of the Global Network hosted by PBA and beyond. As a key tool for knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and community-building, the App enables users to access resources, contribute insights, and participate in ongoing conversations. Ensuring its functionality, relevance, and user engagement is critical to the success of PBA’s broader strategic goals.
2. Purpose of the Role
We seek a tech-savvy, socially engaged individual with a strong grasp of digital trends to support and manage the PB Community App and its users. This role is essential in ensuring the App functions as a dynamic, user-friendly, and strategic tool for PBA and the Global Network it hosts.
The App Manager will cultivate an engaged online community, facilitate meaningful interactions among users, and ensure the App remains a valuable resource aligned with PBA's mission of promoting professional partnership brokering practices.
Success in this role will be measured by increased user adoption and retention, evidenced through regular logins, active engagement, and meaningful user interactions.
3. Key Responsibilities
As a member of the PBA core team, the App Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and ongoing relevance of the PB Community App. Responsibilities are organised into five key functional areas:
i. App management & content moderation (25%)
● Perform back-end configurations to ensure continuous functionality and user accessibility.
● Monitor flagged posts to ensure alignment with PBA’s content standards and values.
● Manage user reports about content or other users, taking appropriate action in line with community guidelines.
● Manage groups within the App to ensure appropriate and relevant content is shared.
● Track and analyse hashtag usage to identify emerging themes and insights for community learning.
● Working closely with PBA’s Operations Lead, edit and update key documents within the App (e.g. the Pocketbook), ensuring content remains current and accessible.
● Create and schedule regular posts to foster engagement and stimulate conversations.
ii. User engagement & support (30%)
● Drive engagement with members of the broader Global Network, including collaboration with hubs.
● Proactively re-engage inactive users to boost participation.
● Provide user support, addressing challenges with App settings; escalate and liaise with Builder AI[1] where needed.
● Manage the onboarding of new users, including introductions and tailored engagement suggestions based on interests.
● Implement strategies from the Global Network, from hubs or others to increase user retention and participation.
iii. Community building (Global Network) (30%)
● Serve as the first point of contact for hub-related communications via the App.
● Develop communication templates and resources to support community activity and learning.
● Engage in proactive outreach aligned with the Global Network’s strategy and relevant events.
● Create opportunities for knowledge sharing and collaboration among network members.
iv. Develop & maintain a user feedback mechanism (10%)
● Create a simple, accessible feedback form that allows users to report glitches, suggest improvements, and share usability concerns (to be created in collaboration with PBA colleagues).
● The form should be designed for both technical troubleshooting and improving user experience, ensuring that feedback can be easily tracked and responded to.
● Monitor submissions regularly and categorise issues by priority.
● Respond to user feedback appropriately and escalate recurring or critical issues as needed.
● Use feedback data to inform App improvement recommendations.
v. Contribute to and uphold the App’s Terms of Use (5%)
● With reference to relevant PBA policies, periodically update the App-specific Terms of Use, to reflect users’ needs and best practices. This document should clearly outline acceptable content, user behaviour standards, and moderation processes.
● Ensure Terms of Use are accessible to all users and incorporated into the onboarding process.
● Draft Content Guidelines to accompany the Terms of Use, covering issues of images, language, legal norms etc. Finalise these following inputs from relevant PBA Leads and the Stewardship Team.
● Monitor user activity to ensure compliance with these terms.
4. Skills & competencies

● Experience managing App administration panels and backend configuration.

6. Terms and Conditions
The App Manager reports to the Operations Lead and works in close coordination with the PBA Coordinator & Operations Manager, Accreditation Manager, Training Portfolio Coordinator, and the convenor/facilitator of the Global Network to ensure alignment across key areas of the organisation’s workstreams.
The App Manager will be contracted for a period of six months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and needs. The App Manager is expected to work one day per month, at a rate of £230 per day, with invoices to be submitted on a quarterly basis. This is a home-based position; however, a degree of flexibility in availability is required to meet demands.

The Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS), the UK’s largest national charity dedicated to improving bone health and beating osteoporosis, is seeking a bold and dynamic fundraising and communications leader who can drive transformative income growth and galvanise public engagement.
Half of women aged over 50 live with osteoporosis, plus a fifth of men. The condition causes bones to break (fracture) following everyday occurrences – e.g. sneezes, coughs and falls. Fractures are the fourth worst cause of disability and premature death, but most people with osteoporosis are undiagnosed.
ROS works to improve diagnosis and access to care for the unacceptably high number of people whose lives risk being destroyed by this highly treatable condition each day. They equip people with practical information and support to take action on their bone health and, working with healthcare professionals and academics, influence and shape policy and practice at every level. The charity’s research arm is investigating new diagnostic approaches, including the world’s first screening programme, as well as novel treatments to beat osteoporosis for good.
This is a pivotal time for ROS as they aim to seize on momentum garnered from half a million people checking their risk, two national media partnerships, a groundbreaking Ministerial pledge to roll-out early diagnosis clinics to every area, and more people than ever engaging with their services. They aim to lead a movement for change around bone health similar to those that have gained widespread attention by menopause and prostate cancer campaigners.
To capitalise on this momentum and as the charity prepares for its 40th anniversary, the time is right for ROS to step up fundraising and public engagement to address one of the most urgent threats to people living well in later life and meet the charity’s vision - No more broken bones, no more broken lives. IPSEA is the leading charity in the field of SEND law in England, and we provide free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND. We also provide training on the SEND legal framework, and we influence policy at both a local and national level.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Community Project Lead to join our team and lead the development of our advice services for under-served communities. This two-year, fixed-term role is a key part of our strategy to reach groups who may not traditionally engage with IPSEA’s support - including children and families with English as an additional language, cared-for children (children in care), migrant children, detained children, and Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.
The project builds on a detailed scoping exercise we’ve recently completed, which involved working closely with a wide range of charities and organisations that support these communities. The resulting report outlines the barriers they face, and will form the foundation for this project and directly inform the work you will lead.
