This peer support project is delivered in partnership with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust to support Carers of people with mental health conditions. This project will work to support Carers through one-to-one support, outreach, training and peer support groups.
About The Role:

Context and purpose of role
The Out There Award (OTA) increases the skills, confidence and social connections of young adults (18-26 years) from diverse backgrounds to enjoy the outdoors responsibly. As a member of the Programmes team, the Programme Lead (Out There Award) will be responsible for the successful development and delivery of the programme across GB.
Key responsibilities
- Lead on the design, development and operational delivery of the Out There Award programme across GB.
- Create operational delivery plans – to identify milestones, monitor risks, resolve issues and manage resource requirements.
- Design and develop resources and processes to support programme implementation.
- Be responsible for managing a budget in line with programme goals and objectives.
- Be responsible for evaluation and reporting, to ensure the programme meets KPIs and delivers measurable impact.
- Manage new and existing strategic partnerships with outdoor organisations and those working with young people facing barriers to becoming active outdoors.
- Work with partners to recruit participants to the Out There Award, and to promote the programme more widely.
- Develop a network of delivery partners and instructors.
- Engage diverse audiences from young people facing additional barriers to getting outdoors, to senior stakeholders including government funders, and other strategic external partners.

Fundraising events management
• Manage delivery of the event portfolio to achieve financial and sign-up targets, delivering effective on the-day support for event participants. This includes ensuring our events are accessible for visually impaired participants
• Deliver excellent supporter care to ensure supporters are motivated to achieve (and exceed) their fundraising targets, feel valued and build engagement with us
• Key point of contact for high level event participants and community fundraisers via face-to-face meetings, phone calls and emails – providing timely and personalised support
• Support the Events and Community Officer with enquiries, applications and registrations for challenge events, ensuring high levels of conversion, and capturing relevant supporter data
• Support the Head of Community and Engagement, or other teams within Fight for Sight with the successful delivery of key special events, including fundraising gala dinners or receptions, virtual events and mini conferences, and third party or established supporter events.
• When required, support the Events and Community Officer in managing guest lists, enquiries, and ticket sales for special/major donor events and receptions, delivering a seamless guest experience and timely follow-ups supporter care and relationship management
Marketing
• Oversee all paid Facebook advertising activity for events, updating web listings, and utilising our networks
• Work with the Marketing & Communications team to raise awareness/increase recruitment across all activities, highlighting case studies and media stories
• Develop and deliver effective and engaging content, and materials for supporters to increase recruitment, retention, and average fundraising amounts
• Oversee the creation and delivery of quarterly events e-newsletter, plus additional e-blasts
Managing information and reporting
• Work with the Database Manger to ensure accurate records within our CRM system (ThankQ) and management of income from online and offline giving
• Carry out post-event evaluations, analysing supporter data help facilitate greater levels of income
• Support other areas by attending events, exhibitions etc. as required by a small team with varied responsibilities

Main Duties
1. Programme Development and Delivery

Responsibilities
In this role you will have 6 key responsibilities:
Financial: Managing a portfolio of high-value relationships and to deliver income at the agreed annual target in the first year with an expectation this will rise year on year.
Management: You will be one of the first points of contact internally for trusts/foundations and individual major donors (IMD) related queries and will work in accordance with the major giving team strategic plan and existing procedures, practices and standards.

Information: Information management and analytical thinking is essential as you will present detailed, accurate and high-quality fundraising proposals to prospects and donors, ensuring any specific deadlines or funding windows are complied with. In addition you will need to:
- Ensure that donors are thanked appropriately for their gifts with timely and appropriate reports, letters and phone call.
- Provide timely ‘report backs’ that are appropriate/agreed with each donor, to evidence effective use of funding and to encourage the opportunity to make further applications based on good stewardship and achievement of agreed outcomes.

FOODBANK FUNDRAISER (INDIVIDUALS AND EVENTS)
OASIS HUB WATERLOO
Up to 32 hours per week
FIXED TERM CONTRACT – Two years
SALARY: £33,422 Fulltime (Including London Weighting)

· Recent and proven experience in raising funds from individuals and events.

Oasis Hub Waterloo co-develops and co-delivers a wide range of integrated community services including a community centre, primary and secondary Academies, adult and further education opportunities, early years support, a Foodbank, advice services, a community farm, and well developed and diverse programmes for young people.
Purpose of job
This new role will lead on Individual and Events fundraising for Oasis Hub Waterloo with a focus on securing funds for Lambeth & Croydon Foodbank and our associated Advice services. This will include developing our awareness and capacity to gain income from High-Net-Worth Individuals, Events and Legacies.
