The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Head of Transactional Finance as a pivotal leadership role that oversees payroll, accounts payable, and finance systems. It has a strong relationship to accounts receivable in an adjacent team. It’s a unique opportunity to lead a function through significant change.

You’ll be instrumental in driving automation, improving processes, and ensuring seamless integration between finance systems (UNIT4) and wider business platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics. Jangala is seeking a technically adept and impact-driven person to generate insights from our internet inclusion projects across the UK and internationally. This role will be central in demonstrating the outcomes of Jangala’s programmes, improving our products and support to partners, and contributing to our organisational learning as we aim to deliver socially impactful internet to  4 million people by 2030.

Details of the role

You will design and deliver Jangala’s monitoring, evaluation and data analysis activities. The role will report to Jangala’s Head of Programmes and be a member of the Jangala’s programmes department which leads on the delivery of Jangala’s donor-funded programmes in the UK and internationally, deploying Jangala’s award-winning technology and developing partnerships with community groups and grassroots organisations, charities, local authorities and the United Nations.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing Jangala’s M&E and data analysis systems across UK and international projects, aligning with our 2030 Vision and Theory of Change, as well as donor requirements

• Leading the design and implementation of both quantitative and qualitative data collection tools, including structured surveys, stakeholder interviews and case studies, ensuring methods are ethical and appropriate for diverse contexts

• Developing pipelines and scripts (primarily in Python) to analyse and interpret device telemetry data - eg. usage patterns, uptime, throughput and context-specific behaviours - across tens of thousands of devices operating in a variety of contexts

• Integrating qualitative findings with telemetry and survey data to develop a holistic understanding of impact, progress against indicators and our Theory of Change

• Collecting and analysing data and feedback from partners, end users and stakeholders eg. interviews, surveys and the development of case studies

• Collaborate with delivery partners and external stakeholders  to carry out M & E activities and report creation

• Ensuring the secure and organised storage of M&E data and supporting system improvements for capture and access

The person we're looking for

Jangala’s office is based in London and operates a remote-first working policy. However this is a UK based role and travel to our London office will be required for mind-mapping and collaborative work at least once a week.

Oasis Community Hub Hadley encompasses a variety of integrated and diverse community projects which together have a common aim to bring transformation to the whole person and the whole community. 

Oasis Community Hub Hadley is looking for a project Administrator to maintain the smooth day-to-day running of the Oasis Youth Support project at North Middlesex University Hospital, a project supporting young people who have experienced violence which has had a negative impact on their mental wellbeing.

Duties Include;

1. Updating and maintaining the project’s database from local NHS systems.

2. Identifying young people eligible for the service by screening referrals or trawling the hospital system and ensuring these are collated on the project database to be contacted by the youth workers.

3. Quality assure the data being recorded on the EVIDE system.

4. Preparing regular reports as required by the projects funders or other stakeholders.

You could be successful in this role if you: 

· Have a relevant experience with administration, including using excel, word and other Microsoft systems.

· Have an eye for detail and accuracy.

· Possess excellent oral/written communication and organisational skills.

· Are self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work to deadlines.

Please be aware that although the role does not require face to face work with young people, the post-holder will be regularly reviewing and inputting details of incidents relating to youth violence.

Youth Engagement Officer  

Location: Hybrid. Expected to be in our London office in Victoria at least one day per week. You can be remote every other day or come into the office. Your office days are flexible and can be agreed with your manager, other than for monthly team days where you must be in person. Some nationwide travel expected for Youth Steering Group training days, events and conferences. After passing probation, up to six weeks ‘super remote’ working per year, where you can work anywhere in the world as long as you’re online for four hours of the UK workday.

You will also help the group to participate in FEA decision making, support the design and facilitation of their monthly meetings and training days, help them make progress against their personal development plans. Ensure the Fair Education Youth Summit is a success and remains truly youth-led  

Our Youth Steering Group design and run the annual Fair Education Youth Summit. The event is led by young people for young people and brings together young changemakers from across our membership and the wider education and youth sectors to develop their youth leadership skills, collaborate on campaigns, and engage directly with decision makers. You will support the young people to design sessions, secure speakers, embed past feedback and plan the event structure. You will also support with the event logistics, guestlist management, participant communications and collecting attendee feedback.

Support our members to improve their youth engagement practice  

Our Youth Engagement Working Group supports FEA members and other sector organsiations to increase and improve their own youth engagement practice. You will support the management of logistics, promote the workshops, and communicate with working group members. Your Role as a Fundraiser for Hope for Southall Street Homeless

• To establish a calendar-based pipeline showing submitted and planned applications, with required updates (including scheduled date, name, projected amount, and next action), to ensure timely and targeted applications and follow-up communications with donors (both existing and prospective).

• To scope local and wider district and borough opportunities for corporate partnerships, starting with warm contacts and existing donor networks.

• In cooperation with the Social Media Management Group, to produce/ contribute to shared material/social posts profiling HSSH’s work and value, to the community, borough and wider bodies relative to our work.
• To prepare bespoke, scheduled, direct mail requests to individual donors, in the form of letters and e-mails.
• To maintain an up-to date information resource covering the issues relevant to local rough sleepers and migrants, to inform and evidence HSSH services.

Who We Are Hope for Southall Street Homeless (HSSH) is a charity founded in 2015 to provide a permanent night shelter in Southall.  The need for this was identified by the Churches in Southall Leadership Team – at the time part of the wider Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter initiative – due to the high number of rough sleepers in Southall, at the time, over 31% of all Ealing’s rough sleepers.

Pathfinders is a user-led charity run by and for people living with muscle-weakening conditions. We support disabled people and those who employ personal assistants (PAs) through peer support, information, training, and advocacy. About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Project Coordinator to lead the delivery of an exciting new learning and development project for individual employers and personal assistants. The project will support people who employ PAs through direct payments and their PAs to develop the knowledge and skills they need through videos, peer-led training, discussion sessions, and case studies.

You will oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of the project, ensuring activities run smoothly, are well-attended, and meet the needs of learners. You’ll work closely with people with lived experience of employing PAs, guest speakers, partner organisations, and the wider Pathfinders team to deliver high-quality, accessible training and resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of the training project, including scheduling and facilitating sessions, managing communications, and tracking progress against objectives.

• Work with Pathfinders staff, guest speakers and people with lived experience to produce a series of bite-sized training videos for PAs and employers.

• Organise and support delivery of:

  • Fortnightly peer-learning sessions for PA employers

  • Monthly case study sessions for PAs

  • Monthly “Train the Trainer” classes for employers

• Engage and support participants, including managing bookings, sending reminders, and providing follow-up information.

• Promote the project in collaboration with our communications team and external partners, including disability charities, PA networks, and local authorities.

• Gather feedback, measure impact and contribute to reporting for the funder.

• Support participants to access additional training opportunities (e.g. SfC resources, the Individual Employer Fund, local training).

• Ensure accessibility and inclusion are embedded in all activities.

Person Specification

Essential:

• Strong project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously

• Excellent communication and people skills – confident talking to diverse audiences including disabled people, PAs, professionals and partner organisations

• A clear understanding of the challenges and responsibilities of employing personal assistants

• Good digital skills and confidence using online platforms like Zoom, Google Drive, Microsoft Office and social media

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and meet deadlines

Desirable:

• Lived experience of employing PAs or supporting someone who does

Timeline:
We are expecting funding for this role to be confirmed on 30 June and if this is confirmed, we are hoping to get started as soon as possible. The closing date for this role is therefore 30th of June, with interviews to be held between 1st-6th July.

Bereaved parents and families are at the heart of why Sands exists. Sharing their experiences of pregnancy and baby loss, and what connects and involves them with our work, is both an important part of their bereavement journey and a way to demonstrate the need for our vision and mission to succeed. This role will help us to show in a real and human, authentic way, what Sands is doing to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families.

Sharing these personal stories in external communications will help us reach more people, bringing to life the work we do in a way that engages diverse audiences, and increasing the likelihood of their taking actions in support of Sands.  

This new role has been developed to support the Communications & Engagement team to develop our story-telling function, build our real stories library and ensure the associated consent and stewardship processes are compassionate, efficient and effective. The Stories Officer will ensure wherever possible, that external communications assets and content created by teams across Sands includes the voices of people touched by pregnancy and baby loss – including those who have been personally affected, and those who are allies of Sands, such as healthcare professionals, corporate partners, research partners, fundraisers and more.

You will have experience of working in a charity stories or communications team, or in a stories-led environment such as journalism.

A good knowledge of compliance and safeguarding issues, including experience of working with vulnerable people in a communications context is required.
