Job description

Hours: 22.5 hours (3 days per week)

Contract: Permanent

Location: St Paul’s, Bristol

The Green House is a local Bristol-based charity dedicated to providing free, specialist counselling for people affected by sexual abuse and rape. Based at our purpose-built therapy centre in St Paul’s, we have been pioneering therapeutic provision in our sector for over 30 years. Each year our teams work with over 300 adults, children and young people and we witness daily how the impact of therapy can be truly life changing.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Fundraising Officer to join our dedicated team, helping to champion The Green House and our vital work. We have exciting plans to grow our impact and fundraising and this varied role will play a crucial part in bringing them to life. Working across all areas of our voluntary income, you will primarily be responsible for developing The Green House’s individual giving and community fundraising, as well as inputting into our grant funding, social media and wider communications.

Passionate about building relationships, the right candidate will be an excellent communicator with an ability to inspire donors and supporters. You will be proactive and able to think creatively, as well as organised and confident working with detail.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a successful track record who is keen to develop their skills and work in a friendly and supportive organisation. For more information please download the full Application Pack from our website.

The closing date for applications is 9am Tuesday 25th February 2020.

Interviews will take place on Thursday 5th March 2020.
