As a Challenges Events Officer you will:

• Lead the planning, promotion, and delivery of fundraising challenge events, including third-party, virtual, and flagship activities.
• Create and implement engaging supporter journeys that drive participation, increase fundraising, and foster long term relationships.
• Collaborate with our Digital Fundraising Officer and communications team to develop and execute digital recruitment and marketing plans.
• Oversee all aspects of project and event management, including logistics, risk management, supplier coordination, and on the day delivery.
• Use data and insights to evaluate event performance and optimise future campaigns, ensuring year-on-year income growth.

To be successful, you must have experience:

• Proven experience in organising or supporting fundraising or challenge events.
• A track record of achieving income targets and maximising fundraising potential.
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in engaging supporters and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools and a passion for contributing to digital content and campaigns.
• Experience with CRM systems (ideally Donorfy) and using data to inform decision-making.

As our Marketing and Communications Manager (Maternity Cover), you will:

The Development Manager supports the delivery of Worthing Theatres & Museum’s (WTM) fundraising strategy across a broad range of income streams, including trusts and foundations, public funding, individual giving and corporate sponsorship.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a CEO with a passion for animal welfare, who will contribute to our mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing animals in need. Our new CEO will want to actively promote kindness and the prevention of cruelty to animals, and be driven by a desire to give those in our care a second chance in finding their forever home.

They will expand our profile across the Blackpool and North Lancashire region, working closely with the trustees to create a robust business plan, and have overall responsibility for the Branch Centre, our shops and the day to day running of the charity

Income Generation, Fundraising and Publicity

Have overall responsibility for the Branch retail operation, working closely with the managers to ensure that individual shops meet annual sales targets.

Work with the trustees in developing the retail strategy and the growth opportunities of new outlets. 

Digital Media and Marketing

Be responsible for developing the use of digital media to deliver the charity's vision, mission and strategy.

Work with the trustees to develop a marketing strategy, helping our Branch reach more people and generate additional income.

Financial Performance, Governance and Administration

Together with the trustees, develop and implement robust policies, procedures and controls in line with RSPCA guidelines and law, and produce annual budgets and reports for the Branch.

Security, Maintenance and Health and Safety

Ensure the Branch fulfills its duty of care for the health and safety of employees, volunteers and others on site, and have overall responsibility to ensure that the buildings, land and equipment belonging to the Branch are maintained in a safe and secure manner. 

Animal Welfare

In collaboration with the Animal Centre Manager, ensure the Branch delivers on its commitment to care for and ensure the welfare of animals, overseeing compliance with RSPCA standards and policies, relevant legislation and best practice in the provision of animal welfare services.

We work together with autistic children and young people, their parents and carers, and our partners to create a world where every autistic child and young person can thrive. Our online communities play a vital role in this vision, helping autistic young people explore their autistic identity, connect with others, and take part in meaningful projects and campaigns. We also provide parents and carers with a safe, supportive space to share experiences, access information, and find solidarity with others.

Who are we?

Art Fund is the UK’s national fundraising charity for art. We give grants to help museums, galleries, historic houses and public arts organisations to acquire objects for their collections, to share them with as many people as possible, and to support research and training for museum professionals. We are supported by our growing membership of 135,000 through the National Art Pass, as well as the generosity of many individuals, trusts and foundations.

The role

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to play a crucial role in delivering first class marketing strategies to drive satisfaction, increase revenue and develop lasting engagement for Art Fund's membership (The National Art Pass). This is an exciting opportunity to join the membership team at one of the UK’s leading arts organisations and play a key role in achieving Art Fund’s core mission of helping museums and people share in great art and culture. You will be data & insight driven marketer with experience in customer retention, coordinating multi-channel loyalty programs and building customer journeys via email-marketing tools. You’ll also be responsible for crafting engaging copy that brings members along every step of our charitable proposition, inspiring connection, trust and action.

As a key member of the National Art Pass marketing team, you will be instrumental in:

• Marketing strategies across online and offline channels that maximise retention rates of the National Art Pass
• Supporting a programme of activity that promotes Art Fund’s charitable message to increase membership loyalty and to generate income via regular giving and fundraising initiatives
• Ensuring the delivery and smooth running of marketing automation membership journeys to support all areas of the membership cycle from onboarding and renewals right the way through to lapsed and win-back programmes
• Developing assets and experiences that add-value to our diverse membership, creating engaging communications that showcase what’s on at museums across the UK
• Coordinating membership e-comms and digital services including defining customer journeys, writing copy and forward planning of email content and regular reporting on results
• Collaborating with internal teams such as the Design, Content and external agencies / suppliers to create marketing assets that reflect Art Fund’s brand identity

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer retention, loyalty program management and CRM. Your role will involve using data, audience insights to drive marketing strategies as well as close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive the best possible membership experience. Working for a leading cancer charity as their brand-new Regional Fundraiser, you'll help schools, community groups, individual volunteers and local businesses to fund world-class research. Through award-winning, high-impact campaigns, you'll challenge the cause, improve the care and find the cure for cancer.

Salary: £29-34k (able to appoint across the band)

About the charity

Living in the North West, we're 25% more likely to be diagnosed with cancer than elsewhere in the UK and many cancers are much more common across the region. The region also suffers from extreme social-deprivation and health inequalities which, when combined, lead to a lower-than-average life-expectancy and poorer quality of life for our communities.

Community fundraising is an important vehicle to challenge this - by raising money and awareness.

This role will cover North Manchester up to Lancashire - you'll be homebased with travel across the patch to meet supporters.

What will I be fundraising for?

Recent fundable projects include a groundbreaking annual Regional Report on cancer and the innovative Lab-Coat Learning education programme for the region's schools.

You'll act as the face of the charity out in the community, spreading the word about how fundraising can drive positive change. You'll develop relationships with volunteer fundraisers, community groups and local businesses, encouraging and motivating them to fundraise.

You'll deliver interactive presentations, activities and outreach sessions at schools and volunteer groups, offering support, advice and guidance on how people can supercharge their fundraising.

About you

You join a passionate and well-established fundraising team, who genuinely care about and support one another.

Key attributes we're looking for in our new Regional Fundraiser:

• Experience working in a face-to-face role, either fundraising, sales, account or volunteer management.
• Engaging presentation skills, able to inspire people to take action.

Oasis Hub Waterloo co-develops and co-delivers a wide range of integrated community services including a community centre, primary and secondary Academies, adult and further education opportunities, early years support, a Foodbank, advice services, a community farm, and well developed and diverse programmes for young people.

Purpose of job

This new role will lead on individual giving and events fundraising for Oasis Hub Waterloo with a focus on securing funds for Lambeth & Croydon Foodbank and our associated advice services. This will include developing our awareness and capacity to gain income from high-net-worth individuals, events and legacies.
