- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments and with external partners.
- Strong IT skills, including knowledge of Windows, MS Office, and fundraising databases (Blesma uses Raisers Edge).
- Demonstratable ability to plan, prioritise and deliver work to deadlines.

The Digital Campaigns Officer is part of the Campaign Activism team, which works to make sure that our campaigns work effectively with our activist network, our international network, and makes best use of our supporter base for campaigning. We’re looking for someone who has some understanding of online campaigning, can pick up digital tools quickly, and who is comfortable writing high-quality copy sometimes to tight deadlines. The Role
We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Digital Content & Communications Manager; a creative all-rounder who thrives on “doing,” not just talking strategy. You’ll have ownership of our digital content: crafting impactful videos, visuals, and copy for our social channels and websites, and creating engaging resources for marketing, learning and programme delivery. You’ll energise our digital platforms while continuously improving their effectiveness and reach.
This role is delivery-first: you’ll “own” the hands-on creation, scheduling, and optimisation of digital content. You’ll have input into what and when we share and will help shape digital plans, but the heart of the job is practical content production and sharing. Press and comms partnerships are supporting responsibilities, not the main focus.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Content Creation & Delivery (Primary)
- Design, produce, and post engaging multimedia assets (video, graphics, infographics, stories) for social media, and our websites.
- Amplify authentic stories, ideas, and perspectives from our beneficiaries to move and motivate audiences.
2. Social Media & Community Building
- Plan, schedule, post, and manage engagement on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X, as well as newsletters

3. Learning & Programme Resource Design

A key role supporting the National Year of Reading, you will be responsible specifically for project managing the delivery of the website to support the campaign. • Develop and manage the social media strategy for Whizz Kidz
• Manage the day-to-day social media calendar and posting across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, ensuring a consistent stream of content that generates engagement
