Job description

About the role

Parkinson’s UK is constantly evolving and adapting to support those affected by Parkinson’s. We’re looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to oversee the successful delivery of our website improvement project through facilitating communication and collaboration between our delivery team, end users, stakeholders and external partners.

You’ll ensure the work stays on track, within budget and meets the agreed-upon goals, with effective engagement and updates with key senior stakeholders.

You’ll manage a cross functional team of designers, developers, content creators and product people, to deliver accessible, user-friendly website improvements for people affected by Parkinson’s.

This is a fixed term contract for 7 months

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the delivery of website improvements, working with a cross-functional team to iteratively improve the website for people affected by Parkinson’s.

  • Follow Parkinson’s UK product and project management standards. Apply Agile and Design Thinking principles to help the team deliver and learn.

  • Lead and motivate the team to deliver against agreed objectives.

  • Manage and monitor activity against the website improvement project roadmap.

  • Coordinate work to ensure requirements are clearly identified, prioritised and understood, working in collaboration with the website's Product Manager.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in successfully managing digital improvement projects, from  initiation to closure.

  • Experience in managing CMS front end and back end design and delivery.

  • Applied knowledge of the solution development lifecycle, design thinking, and product management principles.

  • Demonstrated ability to unite teams around common objectives, fostering strong relationships and effective communication at all levels.

  • Deep understanding of diverse project management methodologies (e.g., waterfall, Agile principles, scrum) and the ability to discern the most appropriate approach for specific contexts.

Sounds like you? We would love to hear from you.

Please apply through our careers portal on our website, with your CV and a detailed supporting statement to show how you match what we’re looking for, as outlined in the "What you'll bring" section of the job description
