KEY ROLE OBJECTIVES
- Grow and diversify the UK supporter base
- Create compelling content to drive engagement and support fundraising

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and deliver engaging on-brand content across digital platforms (website, email, social media)
- Manage content calendar and campaigns to raise awareness of HOPE and support fundraising initiatives

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Proven comms/digital marketing experience (charity sector essential)
- Strong writing, creative content creation, editorial judgment and campaign analysis skills
- Skilled at increasing audience engagement and understanding CTA messaging to drive fundraising
- Proficient using Wordpress Page Builders, specifically Elementor
- Proficient in Mailchimp, Canva, Hootsuite or other scheduling tools
- Experience of optimsing Mailchimp and Website integrations with a CRM (preferably Beacon)
- Experience optimising UX on websites
- SEO and Google analytics knowledge and experience of managing Google Ads
- Experience using creative software (Canva, Photoshop, video editing tools, etc)

Key Responsibilities
- Ensures the timely and accurate production of all management and annual accounts and all forecasts in accordance with best practise and statutory requirements.
- A key business partner who provides value added business support and financial insight to the SMT and colleagues throughout the Charity.
- Provides financial insight to development team to assist with fundraising bids, prepare donor budgets, and ensure donor reporting and compliance throughout the grant life cycle.
- Responsible for delivery of all statutory and regulatory compliance, including statutory accounts, certification officer returns, Charities Commission, VAT and all payroll taxes.
- Responsible for fortnightly payment runs processing. Supervise and assist with the sale invoices processing and regular credit control. Monthly reconciliation of all Money Ready’s bank accounts.
- Responsible for monthly payroll including monthly and annual RTI reporting to HMRC, pensions payments, annual payroll processing and relevant reconciliations.
- Work with auditors on preparing the audit strategy and manage annual audit process, providing all the relevant paperwork during the audit process.
- Be a positive change champion for the organisation, identifying key impact areas and priorities and supporting change programmes and strategies in both finance and across the Union as a whole.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns with reconciliations and reporting. Line management, objective setting and performance reviews for direct report.
- Establish and maintain a robust internal controls environment that is fit for purpose but uses a risk-based approach to the establishment of processes and procedures.
Personal Specification
- You will need to show;
- Experience Substantial experience in a finance or accounting role (including at management level) in a not-for profit organisation.
- Substantial experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year end accounts.
- Substantial experience in processing monthly payroll using QuickBooks Payroll and Sage Payroll.

We are looking for a permanent and full-time member of staff to help develop and manage RSTMH’s profile within tropical medicine and global health. We need a passionate and creative communicator who can play a key role in meeting our communications objectives. This role is office-based in central London, with the option to work from home on Mondays.
RSTMH is a membership society formed in 1907, with around 1,800 members and Fellows in over 100 countries. We work to improve tropical medicine and global health by enabling and promoting research, sharing knowledge and convening networks through our members and Fellows and beyond. The Communications Manager will have the opportunity to develop and enhance RSTMH’s reputation as a credible and trusted voice in tropical medicine and global health.
This is a wide-ranging and exciting role. You will lead on implementing the organisation’s communications strategy, working with the leadership team to ensure it meets the aims of the wider RSTMH strategy. You’ll maintain and further develop the website and social media platforms, build links with media contacts, and source, commission and develop content. You’ll manage relationships with key suppliers, including website developers, strategic partners, digital media and creative agencies. You’ll also be responsible for delivering RSTMH’s newsletters to our members and Fellows, and global network of supporters.

Centre Operations Management

- Draft lease documentation and ensure timely renewals and support the rollout of any rent reviews.
- Carry out twice-yearly audits of lease documentation.
- Maintain relationships with tenants to support retention and satisfaction.
- Monitor lease management by team, lease compliance and resolution of any lease-related issues.
Customer Service
- Act as a point of contact for tenants, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Foster strong relationships with tenants, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing tenants with the goal of maintaining high occupancy levels.
Financial Management

Line Management

Main Responsibilities

We are now looking to appoint to the full-time, permanent position of Development Programme Manager. The successful candidate will work with our Head of Development and Engagement to develop and deliver our comprehensive membership offer to our range of members.
In addition to managing their work programme they will act as Project Manager for some ADPH events, participate and lead cross team projects and line manage and oversee the work of our Project Administrators and Coordinators.
Candidates will be required to demonstrate experience of working in a training and leadership development environment, as well as a background in event and workshop management.
