Digital Marketing Manager
We are seeking a talented, experienced and proactive individual to join the charity at this critical and exciting stage of growth and development, and to lead on the delivery of the new digital marketing strategy.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small but hard-working marketing team at the national charity caring for the NHS, and to support the organisation with their digital marketing activity.
Position: Digital Marketing Manager
Location: Home based and flexible – able to work in Warwick and London offices occasionally, and at other locations nationally when required.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time (35 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent

About the Role
NHS Charities Together is at an exciting stage in its journey and about to embark on an ambitious new strategy. As the mission of the organisation evolves, the digital channels and digital marketing practices need to evolve with it, ensuring that digital opportunities and learnings across the entire organisation is maximised – to achieve the brand and fundraising objectives.
As the Digital Marketing Manager, your key responsibilities include:
· Delivery of the digital marketing strategy
· Website, Google Analytics and paid social management
· Championing digital knowledge and expertise across the organisation
· Agency management
· Supporting comms and wider teams with digital marketing activities.
About You
You will have experience of delivering digital marketing campaigns and activities in a communications, marketing or fundraising environment. You will be analytical, with a keen eye for detail with the ability to provide guidance and help for other teams across the organisation. With an excellent understanding of key digital marketing metrics, you be confident making data driven decisions.
You will also have experience of:
· Managing digital channels, including websites, analytics platforms, and social media accounts.
· Working with key digital marketing tools including GA4, Meta Business manager and others where relevant.
· Implementing SEO across digital channels.
· Monitoring and evaluating digital activity, with good analytical skills and ability to apply insights into practice.
· Digital audiences and using digital data to understand audiences.
· Managing external agencies and getting the most out of them.

Are you a seasoned and inspirational public fundraising leader with a proven track record of leading significant income growth through Public Fundraising/Individual Giving programmes across multiple channels. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Fundraising you will lead the existing Individual Giving, Lottery activity and help to evolve our integrated activity and digital fundraising expertise working closely with our MarComms teams.
Key Skills
· Proven strategic leadership skills that develop, empower and motivate teams to achieve objectives and deliver quality outputs.
· Specific experience of setting up and/or leading successful digital fundraising programmes.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels and across complex programmes.
· Significant experience of leading/influencing the development of Supporter Journeys including knowledge of how data can best be used to support activities and drive supporter value.
· Excellent relationship management skills and understanding the motivations of donors, supporters and volunteers.
· Experience of playing a leading role in the development of creative propositions that maximise return on investment whilst supporting the aims of the charity brand
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and accelerate the growth of sustainable income from Public Fundraising within agreed expenditure budgets and maximise return on investment. Currently encompassing Individual Giving, Lottery and Events.
· Lead and motivate the Public Fundraising team, ensuring that objectives are embedded and team members have the tools and support needed to succeed.
· Lead the collaboration with marketing and communication teams to integrate fundraising with brand, marketing and digital activity and optimise impact.
· Establish digital fundraising resource, skills and activity within the programme, collaborating closely with the central digital team and leading relationships with external agencies
· Work with the Supporter Experience, Data and Insight team to maximise the effectiveness of supporter journeys across fundraising.
· Play an active part on the Fundraising Senior Leadership Team including developing fundraising strategy and plans.

Senior PR Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to join Sue Ryder as our Senior Public Relations Manager to help raise the profile of the charity and increase the public understanding and awareness of our work and our services. Reporting to the Head of PR & Internal Communications you will develop and lead a national PR strategy for Sue Ryder, raising awareness for a number of projects, services and campaigns.
About you:
We are looking for somebody with extensive experience of working in a national media or PR team, ideally within a charity. You will have significant experience of managing reputation management issues along with supporting governmental lobbying and influencing and affecting change in policy.
Experience of delivering pro-active PR campaigns with an excellent understanding of the media and experience of managing external PR agencies. You will be a highly proficient writer with the ability to direct and manage projects with multiple stakeholder involvement..
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and lead a national PR strategy for Sue Ryder, with the aim of supporting income generation and increasing public understanding of the charity and measured against KPIs
· Manage and lead a responsive and pro-active national PR team which operates an out of hours service
· Deliver 2 x pro-active PR campaigns per year which meet set project KPIs
· Work to position Sue Ryder as an expert commentator on end of life and bereavement care within the national media
· Manage reputation management issues with the support of the Head of PR
· Manage our current roster of celebrity ambassadors and deliver against a celebrity outreach strategy to bring additional high profile supporters on board.
· Manage the retained PR agency ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget and achieving agreed evaluation metrics.
· Line management of the Case Studies Manager, National PR Manager and National PR Officer
· Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across the organisation, including members of the executive leadership team.
· Manage the day-to-day reporting against the PR departmental budget
