About the role
Thousands of people in our communities are affected by breast cancer, and many of these are compelled to help by fundraising for Breast Cancer Now. To enable us to best support our network of fundraisers, and contribute to a sector leading programme, we’re looking for a community fundraising executive to join the London, South and Wales team.
In this busy and exciting supporter-facing role, you’ll provide stewardship to our brilliant fundraisers organising events from bake sales and balls to tractor runs and sponsored walks. And, alongside the other community fundraiser executives, you’ll be the first point of contact for supporters, playing a key role in the smooth day to day running of the programme.
Through excellent relationship management, you’ll inspire our supporters to see through their fundraising plans, raise as much as possible and continue to support the charity in a way that’s right for them.
Reporting into an experienced community fundraiser, you’ll be nurtured and developed in your role. And have the opportunity to develop relationships with a wide variety of supporters, from individuals and volunteers to clubs, societies, groups and local companies.

You’re a brilliant communicator and love working with others. You thrive in a busy environment, bringing a proactive attitude to everything you do. You look for ways to add value and push beyond the expected.

• Lead on the development and delivery of paid and organic social media activity across both Family Action and Relate brands.
• Refine Family Action’s social media strategy in line with key brand, income generation and service marketing objectives
• Work with the Head of Digital Marketing and Senior Social Media Executive to develop a paid social and sales strategy to drive purchases of services and toolkits from Relate
• Lead on the development and delivery of sophisticated Meta and LinkedIn ad campaigns at each stage of the donation/purchase funnel ie. awareness, interest, conversion
• Line manage a team of two Social Media Executives responsible for the day to day management of both Relate and Family Action channels, and supporting local services and retail shops with their use of social media.

• Extensive experience of strategically managing and developing social media channels for a large organisation/group/brand.
• Significant experience of developing successful paid social media campaigns for a range of business objectives including to drive income generation
• Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to write powerfully and succinctly for different objectives, audiences and channels.
• Excellent creative skills and the ability to recognise effective imagery, and stock photography and video.
• Experience of line management and/or mentoring a junior member of the team.

About Listening Books
Listening Books is a UK charity providing an audiobook lending service to children and adults who cannot access printed books due to illness, disability, learning or mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression.
About the role
Listening Books provides membership across the UK, with a subsidised membership fee of £25 per year for individuals, and free membership to those who cannot afford to pay a fee. The service is provided directly to individuals, but also through working with hospices, children’s hospitals, care homes and schools.
The Membership and Marketing Assistant will work within the Membership and PR team to help expand awareness of the charity’s work and increase membership in line with the PR and Marketing Strategy.
The Person we are looking for
We are looking for someone with a passion for books and accessibility, who will enjoy the opportunities and challenges of working in a small organisation.
This role is mainly focused around maintaining our social media accounts, using these tools to grow and engage our membership, so you’ll enjoy creating appropriate content and interacting with people online. Regular tasks include running an online book group and hosting author interviews, writing blogs, creating partnerships with other charities (for online activities, sharing of information etc) and helping the membership team with designing leaflets, posters and other content.
As this is a part time role (21 hours per week), you’ll need to manage and divide your time consistently and effectively to meet your recruitment and marketing objectives. Excellent time management is essential. You’ll have a good understanding of social media best practices and awareness of accessibility standards for content creation, as well as being equally comfortable speaking to members and partners on the phone, online or in person.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly, can-do attitude, excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and improve their skills, as well as a desire to help more people access books. In return, we can offer you 20 days holiday (pro-rata and rising with service), as well as a generous pension scheme. This is a part time role, and working hours can be flexible, within reason, to fit around parenting, caring responsibilities or other lifestyle choices.

Palliative care for children aged 0-18 is delivered at Acorns’ hospices in Birmingham, Worcester, and Walsall, as well as in family homes or elsewhere in the community. Supported by strong internal resources, the Head of Public Fundraising will drive growth across Individual Giving, Legacy, In-Memoriam, Digital and Prize-led Giving in the context of a highly collaborative, whole-organisation approach to fundraising.

As Head of Public Fundraising, you will:

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional based on the East Coast to both drive high-impact new business from corporations and major donors and build our visibility and external communications to support that goal. This is a hybrid role, balancing strategic digital marketing, brand-building and media engagement with income generation, deepening existing relationships with key stakeholders, establishing new partnerships and increasing our visibility.
This is a new position for Street Child, complementing our existing presence on the West Coast. The successful candidate will need to be a strong all-rounder, able to excel in a variety of work areas, although the role will work closely with and be supported by global communications, marketing and corporate fundraising teams, with existing strategies, materials and platforms to leverage and tailor to a US audience.
While this role is not office-based, the successful candidate will be located in or around NYC or DC.
Key Responsibilities:
Major Gift Fundraising (50%)
- Identify, cultivate, and secure partnerships with corporations and major donors, aligning their CSR goals and giving priorities with our mission.
- Leverage existing partnerships and relationships with corporations and major donors to grow a wider network of US-based corporations.
- Develop and manage sponsorship opportunities for campaigns, programs and events.
- Oversee all corporate engagement activities, including employee giving, volunteering and cause marketing campaigns.
- Develop and deliver corporate events to build relationships with and raise funds from our developing network of US-based corporations.
- Collaborate with corporate partners to enhance their internal communications strategies, driving awareness and engagement among their employees around shared initiatives.
- Craft compelling proposals, pitches and presentations for potential partners.
- Steward relationships successfully to ensure long-term impact and retention.
- Track partnership impact, prepare reports and communicate successes to internal and external stakeholders including funding partners and Street Child’s Board of Directors.
- Identify & cultivate new prospects among individuals and corporations.
Communications & Marketing (50%)
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications and digital marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.
- Drive digital marketing campaigns across key channels, leveraging analytics to optimize performance.
- Lead content creation efforts, including blogs, case studies, impact stories, newsletters and press releases.
- Build and execute a strategy for growing Street Child’s share of voice in the sector, engaging with media and industry influencers.
- Work with external web developers to manage and enhance website content, SEO and UX to improve engagement and conversion.
- Monitor trends, conduct competitor analysis, and identify opportunities to position Street Child as a thought leader.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong track record of securing major gifts ($100,000+) from corporations and individuals, including strategic partnerships, sponsorships and events.
- High-level strategic thinking and planning.
- Experience in a similar role across fundraising and marketing.

Purpose of the Job:
The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for leading and managing all fundraising activities to generate income for the Sanctuary. The role involves developing corporate partnerships, organising events, and overseeing digital fundraising efforts. Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Fundraising & Partnerships
· Develop and maintain a pipeline of corporate donors, securing new partnerships while managing existing relationships and ensure that these relationships are properly managed through regular contact and progress reports.

This role plays a vital part in helping Winston’s Wish turn up the dial across our Individual Giving Fundraising. The Individual Giving Manager is responsible for creating, developing and delivering a fundraising plan to grow existing and new support for Winston’s Wish across our online and offline channels. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- Lead on the development and implementation of our Individual Giving strategy, supported by the Head of Mass Participation and the Director of Fundraising & Marketing.
- Ensure all opportunities and future plans are in line with Winston’s Wish’s over-arching fundraising strategy to meet financial targets, organisational objectives and KPIs.
- Maintain an awareness of philanthropy trends, news, events and legislation in the UK to ensure that Winston’s Wish remains up to date on key changes which are likely to impact on individual giving.
Generating Individual Giving Income
- Lead on and deliver a plan to increase individual giving income from streams including, but not exclusive to, direct mail, regular giving, legacies, in-mem and our charity lottery
- Effective use of KPIs to ensure decisions are driven by evidence and real-time data.
- Continuously analyse our income and supporter data to measure effectiveness of activities and return on investment.
- Work alongside our design agencies and in-house marketing team to develop and manage direct mail campaigns, including segmentation to ensure campaigns will be carefully targeted and designed to maximise income.
- Explore and test new methods for donor recruitment and increasing donations.
- Seek every opportunity to increase awareness of legacy giving to Winston’s Wish and monitor the effectiveness of these activities over time.
