About this role:
As Enterprise Architect, you will:

• Bring the IT architecture strategy in line with the charity strategy to allow Dogs Trust to achieve its objectives in the most effective way,
• Own the overall architecture domains for the charity,
• Produce, maintain, and communicate Enterprise Architecture artefacts, as well as developing policies and standards,
• Work closely various internal business leaders: including subject matter experts, project managers and Business Analysts, and external solution architects to deliver solutions for the organisation.

About you:
To be successful in this role you will need broad technical knowledge, with the ability to design end-to-end systems at a high level, with a clear understanding of a number of applications. We are using Salesforce and Informatica, so we’d love to hear from candidates with experience in these. You’ll also need to be a self-starter, who is passionate and motivated about delivering solutions and takes a proactive, strategic approach. It’s also important that you’re a people person, who is a great team player and excellent communicator, with the ability to engage colleagues from different parts of the organisation, and bring them on the transformation journey with you. Additionally, you’ll need a commitment to the aims and objectives of Dogs Trust.

About this job

Please note this is a part-time role 3 days/or 21 hours per week (Fridays must be worked but the other 2 days per week are flexible). The role is initially for an 18 months fixed term contract.

As a key member of our Services and Support team, you’ll be working with MS Society volunteer groups that provide transport services to their members and/or own property. You’ll also be supporting members of the Customer Services team to help them fulfill their health and safety responsibilities within each of the MS Society’s offices. This role includes travel across the UK to provide support and/ or training as required.

You’ll be working with our external auditors to manage the audit process, monitor and record compliance with the ‘MS Society Health and Safety risk management framework’ on property and transport and ensure materials in the framework are consistently and effectively used.

We’re looking for the successful candidate to have:

• A NEBOSH National General Certificate
• Trained Display Screen Assessment Assessor
• Be a Member of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health
• Experience of working with in house Health and Safety systems that cover risk areas associated with a volunteer group network.
• Experience of working with volunteers.
• An in-depth up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and practices, particularly as these relate to the voluntary sector.
• Experience of transport for people of all abilities run by the voluntary sector with a working knowledge of the related legislation.
• A working knowledge of the management of properties run by the voluntary sector.
• A working knowledge of DSE requirements and how to assess and apply them in a practical way.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, inspection and auditing procedures.

We’re looking for a creative and confident Content & Communications Coordinator to join our busy Marketing & Communications Team at Imperial College Union. This new role will be key in strengthening our online presence and improving student engagement with the Union. The successful candidate will manage our social media channels and content to drive two-way conversations, to increase awareness of the Union’s work, and help us better understand what they care about.

You will be our in-house journalist; planning and delivering content that speaks to our varied audiences. You’ll build strong relationships across the Union and College, writing creative copy and curating innovative social media content. Using your in-depth knowledge of social media, you will be aware of emerging trends across all platforms and create content that attracts and retains the interest and attention of our members. You will work closely with colleagues across the Union, including our elected Officer Trustees, to support them to reach more students and deliver key messages. Duties and responsibilities

Content Planning

• To assist in the creation of communications and content plans to support the Marketing & Engagement Manager in the delivery of key Union marketing activity, such as Welcome Week and election.
• In partnership with the Marketing & Engagement Manager devise a social schedule to ensure regular, timely and impactful content across these channels
• Build networks with student groups, the Union’s newspaper (Felix) and external partners to develop opportunities for content collaboration
• Utilise student feedback and engagement with Union content to continue to improve and develop our output and channels
• Work with the Student Officer team to promote their public profiles and provide support on their campaigns.
• Stay up to date with what’s happening across the Union, College, the city and wider student movement to stay current and spot positive PR opportunities and content.

Content Creation & Curation

• Ensure timely, relevant and engaging content for Union channels & platforms, including blogs, website, social media and news
• Write, proof and edit a variety of digital communications across the organisation, such as blogs and web content to ensure brand and tone of voice is consistent and correct
• Attend student events to capture photos and videos content to use for marketing purposes and provide live social media coverage to a high standard
• Work with Designer to turn copy into engaging, high quality assets
• Have your finger on the pulse for all latest trends for the student audience and evaluate their feasibility without audiences and available resources
• Be aware of shareable, engaging content, sourcing content from external channels to build an engaged following and boost our content on social media

Charity People is delighted to be partnering with Dystonia UK to recruit a Communications Officer to join their small and growing team. A charity supports people living with dystonia; an often debilitating and painful disorder that is lifelong and is estimated to affect around 100,000 people in the UK, Dystonia UK is a lifeline for many. In addition to running vital support groups, this small but mighty organisation actively lobbies on behalf of patients and runs national awareness campaigns to help increase understanding of a condition that can be hugely debilitating.

The organisation is expanding and is looking for a talented Communications Officer to work closely with the Director of Fundraising and Communications in a role that will be busy, hands on, and key to communicating the amazing and important work this organisation undertakes to its audiences.

Key responsibilities within the Communications Officer role will include:

• Writing engaging copy for a variety of mediums including both printed and digital
• Support the Director of Fundraising and Communications in creating and designing digital and print collateral for campaigns and events
• Lead on the design and publication of high-quality digital and print information about Dystonia UK, its services, projects, and about dystonia, the condition, and medical services.
• Work closely with the Director of Fundraising and Communications to identify and communicate key news items and be responsible for the production and dissemination of the e-marketing
• Manage Dystonia UK's social media channels on a day-to-day basis ensuring all activity is in line with the charity's brand and communication strategy and work closely with the Directors to produce and develop the social media content schedule
• Engage directly with the organisations community by drafting private messages, replying to comments, and passing actions on to other members of staff where required.
• Creating and adapting content for each channel to maximise reach and engagement.
• Work with colleagues to provide event support by creating content to promote the event, liaising with speakers and partner organisations, and attending conferences and events where required
• Plan and organise activities to raise awareness of Dystonia UK, tying in with other notable calendar events such as Dystonia Awareness Month
• Support the Director of Fundraising and Communications to ensure that the organisation's branding is upheld in all aspects of external communication.
• Support the Director of Fundraising and Communications to develop branded merchandise.
• Support the Director of Fundraising and Communications to create the annual communications plan and contribute to the development of the marketing and communications strategy.

Dystonia UK is a small charity, and this is a busy role where someone with some communications experience will have the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic Director to really develop their skills and expertise both operationally and strategically. You'll be in a position of responsibility and will be able to work autonomously whilst also working with closely with and being supported to learn.

• Previous demonstrable experience in a communications or marketing role including experience of writing website copy that is optimised for SEO, experience of design and content creation, and of copywriting for different audiences

Our established specialist CRM function works across the business to develop and coordinate a programme of communication that strengthens our engagement with the people that want to support our cause.

The team play an important role in helping us achieve our target of growing our active and engaged supporter base by leveraging our investment in marketing automation technology (Adobe Campaign) to deliver a greater supporter experience at every touchpoint. The team sits within our Communications, Policy and Campaigns directorate collaborating across the organisation with various stakeholders to help support and achieve our goals.

About the role

This is your opportunity to play a part in the day to day running of our CRM team and to really make your mark here at Shelter. You’ll be working closely with the Head of CRM and the CRM Manager, alongside another CRM Executive and will be responsible for delivering our email communications for Shelter, building the data selections and workflows from scratch and utilizing dynamic content, as well as fulfilling data briefs for other channels.

You will be involved in exciting projects that deepen our engagement with our supporter base, and encourage them to take repeat actions. We’ll rely on you to ensure that our communications follow best practice as well as making the most of our personalization capabilities with the aim of increasing our supporter engagement.

You’ll also be the go-to person for expert understanding of how campaigns and supporter journeys should be built within Adobe Campaign as well as understand the data held to ensure it is being leveraged appropriately. Along the way, you’ll get to collaborate with colleagues in Fundraising, Campaigns, Retail, Services, Data Management and Insight, IT and Research as you do all you can to ensure we deliver the very best supporter communications.

About you

To succeed, you’ll need a firm grasp of the CRM tech landscape, including list management, segmentation and dynamic content, with experience of Adobe Campaign, Adobe Classic or a similar platform being essential. We’re looking for substantial experience in a CRM role with significant output and a proven track record of building and deploying complex automated journeys.

You’ll have good understanding of email marketing best practices, and the ability to edit email templates in HTML is desirable. Additionally, experience using Litmus (or something similar), as well as data selection experience, would be desirable.

What is for certain though is that you’re well-organised, have strong attention to detail, and can manage your time effectively as well as being used to building dynamic content within a template and building segments and audiences.

You’ll be playing a big part not only in our team but within the wider organisation as we look to use CRM more and more.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

• Create and edit compelling and innovative social media content optimised against a range of objectives, including the production of graphics and video

The Individual Giving Officer will be responsible for raising unrestricted income from individuals by planning and executing the day-to-day campaigns to recruit, engage and retain supporters. This role is critical to income generation for their Big Issue Changing Lives Community Interest Company, which funds their frontline services that support individuals to improve their lives and earn an income from selling the Big Issue magazine or find sustainable employment through their recruitment service, Big Issue Recruit.

To be a successful candidate, you will have demonstrable experience of income generation from direct marketing campaigns (acquisition and/or retention) across a variety of offline and digital channels for acquisition and retention. Internal Communications Officer

Hybrid Working: Connexional Team staff based at Methodist Church House have a hybrid work pattern which is currently 2 days in the office, and 3 days remote.

About the Role

We are looking to appoint an Internal Communications Officer who will play a critical role in developing and shaping the organisation’s internal communications for the staff of the Connexional Team.

The post holder will work closely with Senior Managers to ensure that the Team’s values, mission and updates are effectively communicated to all Team members working across several sites and from home, to foster a cohesive and motivated work environment.

fosters a sense of community, aligned with the Church’s mission and values to create an engaged and informed Connexional Team.

In this crucial role, the Internal Communications Officer will be responsible for establishing and managing channels for staff feedback to leadership, producing engaging content for various channels, and organising and delivering internal events.

The successful applicant will also provide support and training for staff on communication tools and practices, encourage staff to be ambassadors of the Church, and plan and approve regular communications to be sent out to employees including staff newsletters and newsletters from Team members.

About You

The post holder will have at least three years’ experience of working with an internal communications context within an organisation and will have the ability to develop and implement comprehensive internal communications strategies that align with the organisation’s values.

You will be able to articulate messages clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, that are tailored to various internal audiences.  Exceptional writing, editing and proof-reading skills for a range of communication channels are a must for this role.

You will also have strong organisational skills with the ability to lead projects, work collaboratively and be proficient in digital communication tools and platforms.

The Role:

The successful Training lead will head our “Rise for Change” domestic abuse training programme and have the exciting opportunity to continue to grow the programme’s success to date. Rise for Change is a trauma informed domestic abuse training programme for non-specialist professionals. Uniquely created by our subject matter experts, our training directly addresses the need for intersectional and trauma informed domestic abuse training for professionals in all sectors. Our aim is to empower participants, no matter their professional role, to be able to respond safely and appropriately to domestic abuse both within the workplace and in the wider scope of their lives.

The role will be responsible for the delivery and upkeep of our current training packages, development of further training  and the management of current/ new stakeholder relationships. This role will also serve as a subject matter expert on domestic abuse across our global digital programmes.

• Hold a “Train the Trainer” qualification or be willing to obtain one during onboarding.
• Have a good understanding of the nuances of culture, race, sexual orientation and gender identity within domestic abuse and sexual violence, and be committed to intersectional ways of working.

• Have excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals.
