Spectra is a Community Interest Company (CIC), working to improve the choices, health, and well-being of structurally excluded communities across London, particularly in relation to their sexual health, emotional resilience, and well-being, and to combat isolation and minimise risk.

Under the steer of its Chief Executive and Board of Directors, Spectra’s outstanding staff team provides supportive, knowledgeable, and non-judgemental services, all of which are peer-led, meaning they are delivered by people with lived and learned experience. Spectra strives to proactively identify the needs of all its service users, supporting them appropriately and effectively.

We are now seeking suitably experienced and committed individuals to join our Board as Directors of the CIC.

Director with Fundraising Experience: You will provide strategic direction for the organisation around fundraising, including helping to shape and support our fundraising strategy around diversifying our funds and growing our individual giving. You will support Spectra’s delivery of statutory and grant-funded services, help us in advancing our vision, and provide constructive scrutiny and oversight of the Chief Executive and the work of Spectra’s staff.

Director with Communications, Marketing, and PR Experience: You will provide strategic direction for the organisation around communications, marketing, and PR. You will support our plans to increase our reach and brand, further our communications work and strategy, including social media marketing and campaigning, and enhance our PR opportunities. You will support Spectra’s delivery of statutory and grant-funded services, help us in advancing our vision, and provide constructive scrutiny and oversight of the Chief Executive and the work of Spectra’s staff.

Spectra is based in Vauxhall, South London. It is expected that you will attend five meetings (in the evening, currently online on a Monday evening) and two SMT/Board Away Days each year (currently in person). In addition, it is envisaged that you will contribute your expertise outside of Board meetings on occasion, e.g., to review service or planning reports, to input into a focus group, etc.

The global e-waste crisis is growing, with over 60 million tons generated annually and only 20% properly recycled. Manufacturers lack visibility into end-of-life product data, while recyclers operate without standardised information leading to material loss, non-compliance and environmental harm.

We are building a digital backbone for circular electronics with our platform that connects electronics manufacturers with recyclers through an AI-powered matchmaking to enable seamless data sharing, material recovery and compliance automation.

S2S Dynamics is looking for an individual to assist with content & social media to help us educate the target audiencec about the e-waste crisis, promote circular economy solutions and amplify our mission across digital platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to create storytelling that sparks awareness, builds community and supports lead generation efforts.

You’ll work closely with our co-founders and marketing team to execute a strategic LinkedIn-focused content calendar and contribute to newsletters, website updates and campaign content.

• Research, write and schedule content for LinkedIn posts
• Assist with creating short blog posts, visuals and content snippets

We are seeking passionate individuals from all walks of life to become trustees and help shape the future of charities making a real impact across the UK.

Position: Trustee (Voluntary Role)

Location: UK-wide (remote/flexible options available)

Time Commitment: Part-time, flexible hours (typically 4–10 days per year)

About the Role

As a trustee, you’ll join the board of a not-for-profit or charitable organisation, helping to guide its strategy, ensure financial sustainability, and uphold its purpose. Support delivery of our communications strategy, with focus on digital communications, content and community events.

Social media management and planning, including content creation (which must include video and design)

Administer and manage the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels and member communications)

Assist in the development and deployment of the communications & marketing strategy

Undertake innovative marketing of events, with a focus on delegates and sponsors/advertisers

Planning, writing and coordinating of corporate communications, including Mast Cell Action's website and e-newsletters

Assist in the planning and execution of media relations and public affairs

Prepare accurate reports on overall performance across all of our key channels

With operations in 16+ countries and a small online audience of 8,000+ followers, we focus on delivering high-impact teaching, mentoring, and capacity-building, amplifying opportunities for students and communities often overlooked by mainstream systems.

The Role

This role goes beyond content creation.

We are looking for a pro bono Social Media Strategist to shape the next phase of our digital evolution. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a seasoned social media professional who wants to apply their skills to elevate a growing nonprofit’s reach and engagement. You’ll develop and execute a content strategy that reflects our values, tells powerful human stories, and strengthens our international voice.

You’ll have the autonomy to introduce tools, systems, and workflows, while mentoring a small team of digital marketing novices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a cross-platform content strategy aligned with our mission

• Manage and grow our presence on X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook

• Create compelling, original content that sparks engagement and drives conversation

• Mentor and support a small team of social media volunteers

• Establish systems for content planning, scheduling, and performance tracking

• Monitor platform trends and engage online communities

• Use insights to refine strategy and report on progress

Requirements

You’re an experienced, self-motivated professional with:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing brand or nonprofit social media

• A strong track record of content strategy, audience growth, and storytelling

• Proficiency in scheduling tools, analytics platforms, and basic visual content tools

• Experience mentoring junior team members, interns, or volunteers

• Excellent written communication and copy-editing skills

• Strong organisational and project management abilities
