Location – Home-based within 45 minutes of Winchester in Hampshire, looking after churches in Berkshire, Dorset and Hampshire
This is a fundamental role within our West regional team, internally the role is known as Local Community Officer.
The Churches Conservation Trust works with communities to look after 357 historic churches, over two million visitors annually and hundreds of events both private and public.
These ancient, listed sites are among the most beautiful locations in England.
You’ll be visiting sites in your patch regularly, encouraging new supporters, holding local meetings, and raising funds to meet each building’s unique needs. Sharing progress through a growing church plan for each of the 22 churches in your area, you’ll ensure these buildings thrive as beautifully maintained visitor attractions, as venues for events and as central parts of village, town or city life.
You’ll be supported by our team of experts, including fundraising, conservation, and learning and by our large network of church supporters.

About the role:
Our Head of Marketing and Communications provides leadership and operational management of P3’s ambitious communications and marketing department, responsible for driving brand awareness and stakeholder engagement.
This post directly line manages and supports three colleagues (with a fourth team-member indirectly managed) with budget management responsibilities of around £100,000.
The Head of Marketing and Communications is responsible for delivering on our core departmental goals:

About Stema:
Stema is a small Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) founded to advance the education of the public in the field of global health. Our research centres upon community health, positive health, participatory methods and agentic approaches. Our mission is to catalyse positive disruptions in the field of global health through publishing research and developing tools and partnerships. We are a small, international team of academics, entrepreneurs and development professionals.
Our focus over the last year has been developing alternative approaches to community health and sustainable development, leading to the development of the concept of community positive health and creation of an index to measure community positive health. Our approach is informed by extensive participatory fieldwork in low-resource settings around the world, for example Kenya, Peru and Sierra Leone. About the role
Working within our small, dynamic staff team, this role will primarily provide support to the Executive Director in the following areas: communicating the work of the foundation to key stakeholders; lead on and maintaining relationships with trade union groups; driving forward our community grants programme, demonstrating the policy, research and campaign impact of the foundation; general strategic and managerial deputisation.
